Chapter 339 The Fox Demon's Rampage

The beauty paused, sniffed again, easily saw through my scheme, and sneered as she opened the car door.

If I got out now and argued with her, it would be a dead end. If I reversed and tried to ram their car, I probably wouldn't succeed. This is a small, sputtering car with a low displacement engine, while theirs is a black Mercedes S-Class. I couldn't budge them.

With no other choice, I decided to gamble!

"Kun Kun, hold on tight!" I shouted, flooring the accelerator and driving straight for the chicken farm's wall!

Fortunately, to save costs, the wall was made of a single layer of red bricks. It broke upon impact. After we burst through, only two cracks appeared on our windshield, but it didn't shatter. The hood didn't pop up either.

There was a large space inside, and a road not far away seemed to lead to another gate. Just as I was about to turn onto it, a thud sounded from the roof. Immediately, *psh*, a gleaming samurai sword pierced through, narrowly missing my arm!

I immediately swerved left and right, trying to shake off the female ninja on the roof. It was no use; she must have held onto the sword hilt, found her balance, and the blade was now swaying inside the car.

"Kun Kun! Do something!" I yelled. Glancing in the rearview mirror, I saw that Fox was no longer in the back seat, only two chicken feathers remained.

Had that guy deserted me?

I turned onto the straight path and, from the corner of my eye, saw the samurai sword being pulled back by the person on the roof. If she stabbed again, it would be at me!

Hmm, if she pulled the sword out, wouldn't she lose her balance?

I slammed on the brakes. As expected, the female ninja on the roof, caught off guard, tumbled down over the windshield and landed in front of the car. I didn't care about honor anymore and floored the accelerator again, aiming straight for her body. However, she dodged it with a side roll. The good news was that her samurai sword landed in front of my car, right in the groove where the windshield wipers were, so it didn't fall off.

Ahead was a straight road. I switched to high beams and saw a gate about 150 meters away. It was a metal retractable gate. Since their wall wasn't sturdy, the gate probably wouldn't be either. It was likely the cheapest, thinnest kind, which I could ram through.

But what about the fox demon?

As I steered, I activated my Qi sensing technique again. Huh? The fox demon was still in the car, right behind me. Those three purple energies were indeed behind me, but they were still catching up, not much slower than the car.

I adjusted the rearview mirror and saw the three figures pursuing on foot, but where was the fox demon?

"Kun, where are you hiding?" I called out.

"Coming," the rear seat suddenly pushed forward, and Fox's human form emerged from the trunk. "Boss, stop the car. I can take them!"

"Don't joke around," I frowned. "Do you know how strong they are? Just 'take them'?"

"How strong are they?"

"Three purple-energy humans! My phone dropped, hurry and get it for me!"

"...Damn, that strong?" Fox instantly got scared and crawled onto my shoulder, helping me reach the phone that had fallen between the seats.

"Hold on tight!" I shouted.

*Boom!* The car crashed into the retractable gate. However, the result was not what I expected. The gate was indeed flimsy and caved in several meters upon impact. But I didn't expect the connecting parts between the gate sections to be so sturdy. They coiled around my car's front like a 'C', trapping me. No matter how much I pressed the accelerator, I couldn't break through. The engine compartment started to smell like burning. With one final press of the accelerator, a *click* sounded, the engine died, and a thick plume of smoke rose.

"This damn car," I cursed, taking the phone from Fox. The screen showed a call duration of twenty-three seconds. The pursuers were right behind us. I had to be brief. "Ke, Liuhe Chicken Farm, I need reinforcements—"

Before I could even finish "forcements," a female ninja arrived, stabbing through the car window with a sword, right into my phone. The tip grazed my nose as it passed through, making me freeze in fear.

"Boss, don't panic, I'll go deal with them!" Fox was still being brave from the back.

"Surrender," I said softly. "Live to fight another day, wait for rescue."

"Heh, Boss, don't underestimate my abilities too much!" Fox snorted and shot out of the car window. I kept my Qi sensing technique active. The two fox energies I had "seen" suddenly multiplied into eighteen!

Can Fox use a clone technique?
