Chapter 338 Just a Moment

"Nani?" the girl instinctively replied in Japanese, confirming she was indeed from Sakura Country.

I forced a smile and said it was nothing, nothing, you can go.

The girl looked at me quizzically until the B-pillar of the Crown car blocked our line of sight.

I carefully examined the complexions of the two girls; they were both ordinary red, indicating nothing suspicious. The only thing I was concerned about was that they seemed to have taken a wrong turn at the intersection ahead. According to my navigation, they should have turned left, but they chose to go straight.

There was a steep uphill climb. I watched the Crown car ascend the slope, then descend the other side and disappear from my view.

However, strangely, those two red auras did not vanish. I had seen two small red flames, and now they were still, unmoving. This could only mean one thing: the two had stopped and weren't moving. Were they preparing to turn back because they realized they were going the wrong way?

I kicked a few practice balls and glanced again. They were still there, not moving.

I had a growing sense that something was wrong. This was the outskirts, a chicken farm, so the smell was strong. There were no houses nearby, only this one road. How could two girls from Sakura Country end up in a place like this?

"Kun Kun, are you full yet? Let's go!" I called towards the inside of the fence.

The fox demon's aura was mixed with a lot of panicked chickens. She might not have heard me, and she didn't have her phone. I thought for a moment, then kicked the soccer ball into the chicken farm. The ball hit the corrugated iron roof of the farm with a loud clang. The two dogs started barking again, and the fox demon finally heard me. Her aura began to move towards me, and then an orange shadow leaped over the fence. The fox demon landed steadily, covered in chicken feathers, still holding a stunned live chicken in her mouth.

The fox demon put down the chicken, held it with her front paws, and tilted her head, asking, "Ji ji?"

"Get in the car, let's go. I have a bad feeling about this," I said, frowning.

The fox demon reluctantly released the little chicken, shook off the feathers, and leaped into the passenger seat. Glancing back, she saw her clothes were on the back seat, so she crawled over from the armrest.

Just as I was about to start the car to head back, I saw a black sedan approaching on the road ahead at extreme speed. I quickly activated my Qi sensing technique. Not good! It was purple aura, and three of them!

Three human auras that felt so familiar!

I tried to reverse and get off the sidewalk, but it was too late. The black sedan sped up, braked sharply, and used its body to block my car's rear bumper on the sidewalk. If I drove forward, I would only crash into the chicken farm's fence.

Through the car window, illuminated by the streetlights, I saw the person in the driver's seat. It was indeed an acquaintance!

It was those three women with purple aura who had impersonated the three members of the General Bureau last time. They were exposed, defeated by the siblings Li Bing and Li Hong, and then shamelessly pretended to surrender before releasing a yellow mist, escaping under its cover. Li Hong had identified them as ninjas from Sakura Country based on the poison gas. This explained the identity of the two beauties with red aura earlier – they were allied with the three purple aura individuals, acting as scouts!

"Heh heh, Wu Chengfeng, you don't have any helpers with you this time, do you?" the woman driving the car sneered. It was the one who wielded twin maces, defeated by Li Hong last time.

"What, beautiful lady, did you get your arm reattached?" I replied with a smile, while secretly calling Chen Ke – the most frequent number I had dialed recently. The call connected, but I lowered the volume. She didn't need to speak; I just needed her to hear the sounds from my end.

The woman's anger flared, and she was about to get out of the car to beat me.

"Just a moment!" I raised my hand to stop her.

"What?"

I pointed into the chicken farm: "Who said I have no one to help me? I have forty thousand helpers inside. Are you scared?"
