Chapter 308: Shatter Point
Leo traversed the infinite verse, traveling to the edges of reality where it had yet to expand. Beyond the infinite verse, which was the pure, raw energy that created Leo, progenitor energy.
Truthfully, Leo himself was progenitor energy, so what lay beyond the infinite verse was simply himself. But since he wanted the verse to keep expanding, he left parts of himself in its purest form, detaching his consciousness from it.
This is the reason why he cannot see into this place as clearly as he could the rest of the infinite verse. Although he was still able to freely use the energy as he pleased. If he wanted to absorb it, he could.
"Is that where you kept him locked up?" Cassie asked, holding Leo’s hand.
"I thought you were with Kai."
"I left a clone of myself with him."
Leo stared at the chaotic energy, then willed it to part into two. Alongside his wife, they ventured into the non-existence and arrived at a place where nothing existed unless Leo wanted it to.
This place was called ’Shatter Point’ because this specific point shattered the rules of reality.
"Oh, I see that you have come to visit me, father." A voice called out in the distance.
"Aion." Leo’s voice was cold and emotionless.
"Mother, you’ve joined him, too. It’s so nice to see you all after, what? 500 million years? I don’t know, I haven’t been keeping track." Aion smiled. He was extremely handsome, worthy of being the son of Leo and Cassieopia.
"Shut up, you failure. You’re the reason why all of your siblings are dead!"
"Isn’t that because of your parenting? Heh, even father knew that your parenting is so bad that he stripped my youngest brother from your womb so you couldn’t raise him." Aion mocked her.
"You!"
"What are you here for?" Aion had had enough and was disgusted with his parents being in front of him. He wanted them gone as soon as possible.
"Progenitor Decay," Leo said
"Progenitor decay? Ahh, yes, the power meant to kill anyone with progenitor blood in their veins. What about it?"
"Stop playing dumb, Aion. The only reason you’re alive is because of progenitor decay. No one besides you and I are able to use this power. So why is it that I found it on a planet that isn’t anywhere near the places where our battle took place?"
"How am I supposed to know? Are you the omnipotent one? You know everything and can see everything. Figure it out yourself."
"You’re a disgrace. You aren’t worthy of being my child!" Cassie couldn’t believe that her own child had become a monster.
"You are the one who raised us to be this way, mother. This is your fault."
"No! I raised you all to be proud of yourself and know that you were meant for greatness to carry on your father’s and my legacy, not to destroy everything we worked for!"
"Oops, I might have missed that lesson when you were teaching us." Aion truly didn’t care about how his parents felt. He did nothing wrong in his eyes.
"You led your siblings to their deaths! As the oldest, I expected better from you! Not all of them wanted to be like you!" Cassie still wasn’t over the loss of her children, and seeing Aion opened up old wounds more than it did with Kai.
"You’re very annoying, you know that?"
"Cassie, it’s time to go. I’ve located where the Pogenitor Decay is being used." Leo grabbed her arm and left before she could say anything else.
"Heh, just you wait. Once I’m out of here, I’ll kill both of you." The progenitor energy closed, allowing for the infinite verse to start expanding once again.

"Did your harpies manage to find anything, Narwhal?" The handsome man asked as he checked for any new anomalies.
"I need to recalibrate my scanners and get new harpies." Narwhal was on the ground, fixing his tools while a shipment of new harpies came in.
"What happened?"
"My harpies said that they found Nemean’s blood, but it was just some random mortal who had no idea what was going on. I felt a trace of Divine energy in him, so I’m guessing he is a hero or something."
"A hero?"
"Yeah, you know, when lower-level gods give parts of their power to mortals so they can fight...uhh...demon kings?"
"Ohh, right. What did this mortal look like?"
Narwhal showed the handsome man what Kai looked like by creating an illusion from his memories. He was even able to recreate his unique energy signature.
"Ha, he is a hero! I haven’t seen one in like...I don’t know, millions of years!"
Narwhal looked at the handsome man with suspicion. "You seem to be in a good mood today."
"That’s because I’ve regained a great portion of my power back today." He clenched his fist and showcased his strength.
Narwhal nodded. "Impressive. This will come in handy. Anyway, I recalibrated my scanners, and I got new harpies, so we just need to wait until we get some new readings to make sure eveything is working properly."
"Good. In the meantime, I’ll continue to increase my strength in case we need to face off against a major threat."
That reminded Narwhal of something. "I forgot to tell you this, but I got another massive energy reading. It wasn’t as powerful as the previous one, but it was still out of our reach."
"Out of our reach, as in we would die against that person?"
Narwhal nodded. "Correct."
"Hmmm. Nemean clearly has business on this planet, so we’ll have to take things step by step. We need to lure the blood of Nemean out of hiding. How many continents are on that world?"
"Uhh?" Narwhal checked his notes. "Seven."
"And how many demon kings are there?"
"Seven as well. Well, six. One of them has been beaten by...hey, look, that same guy whom I mistook for one of Nemean’s blood. I bet he’s going crazy right now. I made his body go berserk and kill his companions."
"Alright. Give power to each of the demon kings to cause trouble for the local hero. The Blood of Nemean will sense our power and have to act. If they don’t, then this would be a great force for us to use when facing them on our own."
Narwhal liked the handsome man’s plan and acted on it immediately.
