Chapter 132

Knock, Knock, Knock!

"Yes, I’m coming!"

Creak!

"Huh? You look familiar." A young girl who looked like she was around nineteen muttered as she stared at the blue-haired young man in front of her.

"Have you forgotten me so soon? Huh, Lizzy?" Damian muttered with a small smirk tugging at his lips.

The young girl thought long and hard before the memory slammed into her with brutal force, causing her eyes to widen in surprise.

"Y-you were the one who saved me when some men cornered me in an alleyway and were about to do bad things to me." Lizzy said as she snapped her fingers in recognition. "I never did get your name though."

"Damian," Max replied with a wide grin.

"Come on in, Damian." Lizzy said warmly as she stepped aside, allowing him to walk into the house.

"Is your mum around?" Damian asked as he stood in the living room, scanning the familiar surroundings that hadn’t changed much since he last saw them.

"No. She went out with her friend who’s been living here for a while," Lizzy replied as she came closer and stood in front of the dragon.

"Oh," Max mumbled as he smiled faintly. ’Guess my women are getting along nicely, huh? Good. Because I’ll be introducing more women to them soon enough.’

"Ah! Where are my manners?!" Lizzy mumbled as she lightly facepalmed herself. "Please, have a seat. What would you like to drink or eat?"

"Ah, no, I’m okay," Damian replied as he walked forward and plopped onto the sofa with his bag still clutched in his hand.

"Are you sure? Don’t look at me like I’m a kid, I’m actually a great cook," Lizzy chuckled softly as she crossed her arms and stared at him playfully.

"Oh no, no! I already ate before I came. If I was hungry, I would have told you. I would also love to taste you... ahem! I mean your cooking," Max quickly corrected himself, scratching the back of his head while Lizzy giggled uncontrollably.

"Okay! Uhm, Mum and her friend might be back late. Kindly allow me to finish the paper I was writing upstairs. I’ll come join you in a little while. In the meantime," Lizzy said as she walked forward and turned on the TV.

"Hmm, where’s the remote?" she muttered as she bent down to look for it under the table.

’Damn! She got her mum’s features. Her boyfriend is really lucky though,’ Max thought as his gaze lingered for a moment on her thick backside, a few vivid images flashing through his mind before he forced himself to look away. Focus, bro. You’re not here for that.

"Ah! Found it." Lizzy exclaimed as she grabbed the remote and handed it to Max. Their hands brushed briefly, and a tiny spark of awkward tension filled the air.

Lizzy’s cheeks flushed bright red as she quickly turned away and hurried out of the living room, leaving Max alone with the TV.

’It’s already 12 p.m. I wonder where Camila and Mia went,’ Max thought as he began flipping through the channels until he found a wrestling match. He leaned back and decided to settle for it, eyes glued to the screen though his mind was elsewhere.

Meanwhile, upstairs, Lizzy collapsed onto her bed with a soft sigh, her heart pounding like a drum. Her face was flushed, and every time she blinked, Damian’s face appeared in her mind.

’Is it me, or is Damian more handsome than before? Not only that, he’s strong—strong enough to beat up four gang members that day. Too bad though, someone as good-looking as him surely has a bunch of girls swarming over him. Tsk! Let me just focus on my work,’ she thought with a pout, shaking her head before hopping over to her study table and opening her laptop again.

The glow from the screen reflected on her face as she tried to focus on her typing, but deep down, she knew it would take a while before she could stop thinking about him.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, and in the blink of an eye, about two hours had passed. Finally, it was 2:30 p.m., and right on cue, Lizzy was done with what she was doing.

She took off her glasses, leaned back, and rubbed her face tiredly.

"Oh shit! I forgot about Damian." Lizzy lightly facepalmed herself before quickly shooting out of her chair and dashing away.

She exited the room, her feet lightly tapping the floor as she moved. In just a few seconds, she found herself in the living room. The TV was still on, flickering faint light across the room, but Damian was fast asleep on the sofa, the remote control still resting in his hand.

’He looks so cute while sleeping!’ she screamed inwardly, her heart skipping a beat as she silently tiptoed closer.

She finally got a full view of his face, and her cheeks instantly flushed red again. Shaking her head to calm herself, she quietly removed his shoes and gently lifted his legs onto the sofa to ease his rest. Her hands trembled slightly, but she tried to stay calm.

Then, she tiptoed forward again and began carefully removing the remote control from Damian’s grip. Just when she was about to free it completely, his hand suddenly tightened around hers, locking her in place.

Her heart skipped a beat.

With a sudden snap, Damian’s eyes opened, and he quickly sat up. His alert expression softened the moment he realized it was Lizzy crouching in front of him, her face flushed and her hand still trapped in his.

"I... I’m so sorry for waking you up. It wasn’t my intention, honestly." Lizzy blurted out nervously as Damian slowly released her hand.

"It’s fine," he replied with a small, calm smile, his voice low and soothing. He watched her stand up awkwardly, clearly flustered, before she turned to leave. But as she took a step, her foot hit one of his shoes, and she stumbled forward.

In an instant, she crashed into his body.

The sofa bounced slightly from the impact, and Lizzy froze on top of him, her palms pressed against his chest as their eyes met. Time seemed to stop as they stared into each other’s eyes, neither of them saying a word.

"I... I... I’m..." Lizzy stammered, unable to find her voice, lost in Damian’s mesmerizing green eyes.

"Shhhh..." Damian whispered softly, placing a finger gently on her lips to silence her. His touch sent chills down her spine.

He leaned forward slowly, and Lizzy followed without thinking. Their lips met—soft, warm, and hesitant at first before deepening into a slow, passionate kiss. Lizzy’s eyes fluttered shut as she savored the moment, her tense shoulders relaxing completely.

Her hands roamed up his chest, feeling the warmth of his heartbeat, while their tongues moved in rhythm, exploring each other.

Damian’s hand unconsciously slipped down and grabbed Lizzy’s butt, still hidden under her tiny bomb shorts. His grip tightened slightly, and a soft, breathy moan escaped her lips.

Before things could go any further...

Creak!

The sound of the door unlocking sliced through the air.
