Chapter 196: Animal Farm

Chapter 196: 196: Animal Farm

His hands waved toward them, a purple dust flushing in the air and at the three ladies who wanted to strike with their daggers.

And immediately, they turned into three little black goats, hovering on the ground and eating God knows what.

The other ladies blinked.

Eden blinked too.

They were speechless.

"That was still a better call..." Eden said. He couldn’t predict what his powers were up to. He had disappearing in mind while he cast the spell, but this happened. It was as if his powers now had a mind of their own. But at least his head wasn’t taken away.

"This devious monster... how is he doing all these... Why is he turning them into animals?!" They glared at Eden, and he casually shrugged.

"Just stop and everyone will be happy," Eden urged, but it didn’t seem like the ladies were willing to end it.

The ladies were now four remaining—the leader and three others.

And now the leader stretched out her wrist, pointing it toward Eden as a pin flew off, flying toward him.

Eden waved his hands at the pin in defense, and it flew back at her. She dodged and glared at Eden. "You monster..." She threw her dagger at Eden.

But Eden also cast a spell, and her dagger backfired at her. She dodged it.

"Let’s end this now. I don’t want to fight ladies..."

Before Eden could even finish his sentence, they struck again. The three other girls pulled out their swords from their waists.

It was an elastic sword that could be bent into a belt, and they pulled it from their waists and attacked Eden together with it.

Eden stretched out his hands, and purple dust circled around him. He twirled and sent the dust toward the ladies, who now pulled back, covering their noses.

But it was too late.

The purple dust had turned them into pigs. Three pigs now roamed on the ground as Eden blinked again.

He and the female leader of the dancers tilted their heads while staring at the animals around the room now.

"I have a feeling this power has a mind of its own at this point..." Eden said.

But the lady didn’t care. She was already shocked and alert. "You monster! Die!" she said as she stretched out both hands toward Eden.

Pins flew from them and attacked Eden. Eden tried dodging but couldn’t dodge them all. He was hit in the hand by two, and his right hand began bleeding immediately.

"Ouch," he groaned in pain as he fell down on his knees, a left hand over his right hand, which was bleeding.

The lady smiled on seeing him down. His hands were bleeding and his expression sore. She could tell she had hit him where she should—the hands with which he cast his spells.

"You think you can take us down with some little tricks? How pathetic," she said, now walking up to Eden. "You should also know that we’re not mere ladies but trained assassins. So you can’t just look down on us like that." She smiled.

"And now I’ll give you the chance of turning my friends back to normal. Or I’ll cut you slice by slice," she threatened.

Eden moaned in pain as he held his bleeding hand, his expression engulfed in pain as he panted softly.

"What are you waiting for? Aren’t you going to talk? Or should I just have your head first?"

She was now standing in front of Eden, her sword stretched out toward Eden to have his head.

But Eden slowly took a breath. He couldn’t end like this, and he knew that. So he had to act fast. He had to use his powers. And since his hand wasn’t in the best mood now, he guessed he had to use his eyes.

"Still quiet? Then I’ll have your head," the lady said, raising her sword. But Eden immediately looked up at her.

His eyes were purple as he cast a spell with his eyes.

He didn’t know what would come out of it, but he hoped it was something that could save him from losing his head today.

And purple dust hovered around the woman. Immediately, she turned into a sheep—a white sheep.

Eden let out a deep sigh of relief. For the first time, he wasn’t shocked but actually relieved. He didn’t care what she turned into. What mattered was that he was alive.

Eden slowly got up to his feet, staggering as he stared at the sheep crying on the floor. He held his arms while taking a deep breath, in and out.

He looked around the room. The room was filled with animals now: the chickens running around, the goats feeding on imaginary grasses, the pigs smelling the walls, and the sheep crying.

Eden sighed as he muttered, "I might as well open an animal farm at this point with all these..."

He looked up at Adrian, who was now sleeping peacefully in bed. He was quiet and wasn’t muttering heaven knows what.

"You owe me a lot now..." he said as he held his bleeding arms firm. It was still hurting, so he tried using his powers on them. And it actually worked.

The bleeding stopped, and his arms went back to normal. "At least my hands didn’t turn into some animal."

Eden now looked around the room at the animals. They couldn’t stay here, so he had to find a way to send them away—with his powers.

He wasn’t sure if it was going to work out and make these animals disappear or just reverse the magic and turn them back into humans.

But he had to take the risk while getting ready to cast another spell immediately in case it backfired.

He tried the first spell on these animals, and they all turned into cats. He did it again, and they turned into snakes.

In shock, he did it again and again until they all finally disappeared into thin air.

"Finally," Eden smiled. He didn’t know where they disappeared off to. But at least they were gone.

And the guards outside probably weren’t aware of what was even happening inside the room.
