Chapter 195: I don’t fight Ladies!

Chapter 195: 195: I don’t fight Ladies!

"I don’t think that matters," one of the girls in front said. "Let’s just get the work done and get going already."

Eden let out a sigh of relief, staring at the girls who started making their advances toward Adrian.

Adrian lay there, wasted on the bed and muttering uncertain words as two girls went to sit down beside him.

They began their plot, seductively placing their hands all around him, caressing him while watching his reaction.

He was still lying there while they did what they did, and Eden only watched them.

"How shameless," he muttered beneath his breath. "How can they do that while he’s asleep..."

He placed both hands behind him. He had to start something before these ladies started taking off Adrian’s clothes or doing something vulgar. He couldn’t stand there and watch them do that to a drunk man.

And Eden knew before he started doing anything, he needed to make sure the room was soundproofed so that no one outside—the guards—would hear whatever went down in here and come to the rescue.

He had to make sure of that, and so he cast a spell. Muttering under his breath, he made an attempt, and it actually did work—or he believed it did.

The room was now soundproofed.

But to confirm, he walked to the side and "accidentally" felled a glass vase. It fell with a loud sound and broke. The other ladies looked in his direction.

"And what do you think you’re doing?" one asked.

Eden hesitated, staring at the broken glass on the floor. If the room wasn’t soundproofed, then the guards would instantly rush in and check what happened.

But they didn’t, and it only assured Eden that the spell really worked.

"That’s good then," Eden smiled.

"What’s she saying? What’s wrong with her?" another questioned.

"Hey! Isn’t she the girl that messed up the dance?"

"Yeah. It’s her."

"Is she even part of us?"

They now stared at Eden as he slowly looked up at them with a smile. They could only see his eyes—his pretty eyes.

"Well, I don’t think I need to play with you ladies anymore. It’s no fun," he said.

They were confused.

"What the hell is that lunatic saying?" a girl demanded.

"Hands off him now," Eden said, his fierce eyes on the ladies sitting beside Adrian.

"What does she mean? Are you speaking to us in that way or what?" one demanded.

"Of course it’s you... I’m not speaking to a chicken, am I?"

"Chicken?" the girl repeated with a scoff, pissed. "The nerve! Who is this girl?!"

"She doesn’t seem like one of us," one demanded. "Who on earth are you? Who sent you?"

The girls were now alert.

Eden smiled. "Well, I guess I’ll have to introduce myself in another light."

Still with his veil and all intact, Eden stared at the two ladies sitting beside Adrian. He wished to cast a spell—a spell to make them disappear into thin air.

And probably send them into the Atlantic Ocean or something.

And so Eden cast a spell, his eyes a spark of purple, as the two ladies puffed with purple dust.

But they didn’t disappear; rather, they both turned into chickens, sitting on the bed.

Eden blinked.

The other ladies also blinked.

All in shock.

"What... just happened...?" one of the girls asked, staggering backward as they stared at the two chickens on the bed.

"Did she just... turn them into chickens?" one demanded as they all stared at Eden.

Eden stood there blinking. That wasn’t part of his plans. He guessed his magic was still messing around because of his cold. But at least it did something... right?

"Who are you...?" the leader of the girls drew out a dagger from her side and pointed it at Eden. "What are you...? How could you do that...?"

Eden smiled beneath his breath. "What does it look like?"

The girls were now alert. "Are you a monster or something?"

"Close," Eden smiled. "But I don’t think you guys deserve to know. So you might as well go down without trying."

The leader stared at the other girls. "Take that monster down. Don’t let her act."

Eden rolled his eyes. He couldn’t believe he had to fight with girls now! He never wanted to do that!

Three of the girls attacked. Their movements were swift and quick. They really were skilled in the arts of fighting.

They kicked in Eden’s direction while sending their hands, now holding daggers, toward Eden.

Eden simply dodged, moving backward and dodging whatever attack they cast his way—their swift leg movements and their deadly hand gestures. The three ladies moved in unison, eager to end him.

But he moved back and back, avoiding them.

His back finally met the wall after one waved her dagger toward his face. The dagger grabbed the veil off his face, and his face was exposed.

Even though he was still pretty, the ladies could see through his disguise that it was a guy.

"Is that... a man?" one questioned.

Eden sighed as he removed the veil from his hair, now staring at them. "Yeah. It’s a pretty man."

"How shameless," one of the girls muttered.

"..." Eden blinked. "You’re the shameless one. Now back away peacefully and leave the drunk man alone so no one fights. I really do not wish to fight against ladies now..."

"Male or not! Take him down before he does anything!" their leader ordered as the three ladies attacked nevertheless.

Eden rolled his eyes. "You guys won’t just listen, right?"

The three kicked their feet toward Eden in sync. But Eden dodged and ran to the right side of the room. They turned toward him and ran at him, attacking him with their daggers together.

Eden knew he couldn’t beat them. They were clearly more skilled than he was. So he had to use his powers to survive.

And he did so. He turned and cast a spell at them.
