"How much is the minimum spend?" I asked.
"Five thousand," the front desk lady said with a smile.
Just then, Chen Lu and the others walked in. The front desk quickly said to me, "Sir, please wait a moment."
Then she circled around the counter and ran towards Chen Lu, bowing obsequiously, "Hello, Miss Chen."
"Is the room reserved?" Chen Lu asked.
"Of course, the top suite!"
"Does the top suite have a minimum spend?" I asked with a smile.
The front desk ignored me and tried to lead Chen Lu and the others in. Chen Lu probably noticed I was being treated with disdain. She was about to push past me, but I waved my hand, signaling them to go up first.
It was better to split into two groups.
I patiently waited for the front desk to finish guiding Chen Lu before attending to me. I booked a "second-tier suite," requiring a five-thousand-yuan deposit.
Once in the private room, I only ordered two bottles of wine, totaling five thousand, and then took the wine to the top suite.
After dinner, I asked if we should go back overnight or stay. Chen Lu insisted that since we were all in Shengjing, we shouldn't leave. She had already booked several rooms upstairs, and we could just go up after dinner.

"Uh... everyone has an appreciation for beauty, right? Like you said, my family is so rich, am I not allowed to find a few handsome guys to play with?" Chen Lu retorted.
"Right, right, makes sense. And now? Are you still looking?" I asked.
