Chapter 326: The former hero has arrived
"You’ve gotten awfully quiet." Lygma continued to sip his tea while making conversation with Barry.
"Ahem, yes. You see, I needed to talk to my friend."
"Your friend?" Lygma only saw Barry turn around, so he had no clue how he could have contacted someone. But it didn’t matter how he did, since no one would be allowed in his castle unless he authorized it.
"I’m here. Am I late?" Kai teleported onto the couch after cleaning himself from his sex session. "Ooo, tea!" He took the tea that belonged to Barry, drinking it, but it was cold, she he quickly warmed it before drinking the rest of it.
"You must be Kai LuForia. I heard about you. You’re...powerful."
"I know. You’re...Okay, I guess. Anyway. So you’re not behind all the bullshit that’s going on in the kingdom?"
Lygma already didn’t like Kai. The arrogance in his voice, the confidence in his eyes, and his body language told Lygma that Kai didn’t even respect him. As the demon king, all Lygma knew was respect, so this was not a good feeling.
"No. Like I told your friend, I was sleeping." His voice was emotionless. No respect was given to Kai, and his expression was cold.
"Hmm. So Curcombar was talking to your son. Ha, do you know that your son was planning to overthrow you?"
"Pwahahahaha! You serious? My son? Sweatii? No. He may be ambitious, but he’s not stupid enough to overthrow me."
Kai seriously thought that this demon king was a dumbass. He claims to want to live together in peace and harmony, yet he doesn’t even see what the current state of the continent is.
"Let me ask you this, then. Did you order your men to attack the kingdom? Did you have them sell drugs that turn people into demons? Are you over the experiments where people are kidnapped, tortured, and pumped full of drugs and demonic energy?"
"What the hell are you talking about? Why would I claim to want peace yet do all of those things?" Lygma was starting to get angry at the accusations.
"So, you didn’t order Carleen to attack the spirit world?" Kai asked
"Carleen? My right hand? Absolutely not! She’s currently conducting research to better help our cultures merge so were can live in this realm."
Barry looked at Kai, and Kai did the same, looking at Barry, not himself.
"Hahaha! Check this out, man." Kai took a part of his memory and showed it to Lygma. It appeared in the air like a screen where the events of every demon Kai encountered played out.
"What is this? Why are my people doing this?! I told them to help your people, not harm them!"
Barry scoffed. "All your people know how to do is kill."
"See. This is why we think you’re full of shit. Offense."
Barry tapped Kai on the shoulder. "Uhh, Kai, you’re supposed to say ’No offense’."
"I know."
Lygma could understand why his people wouldn’t agree with him, but he at least hoped they would be open to change. And worst of all, his own son betrayed him.
"Where is he? Where is Sweatii?! I need to have a talk with him!"
Both Kai and Barry perked up. "No idea. But since you have a lot on your plate, we’ll go now."
"Yes, yes, leave. I have to call back my people!"
As Kai was about to teleport Barry and himself out of there, Sweatii fell out of his inventory.
’WHAT. THE. FUCK?!’ Kai panicked. He wasn’t scared of facing the demon king or anything, but it was the reaction when you get caught doing something you’re not supposed to do.
’How the fuck did his body fall out of my inventory?! T-That’s impossible! Only.....LEO! You fucking dick sucking bastard!’
’Hehe, sorry fam.’
You see, Kai’s original plan was to come back to the demon king under a disguise and kill him using a secret identity. But now, Leo ruined everything.
"What...is this?!" Lygma’s energy skyrocketed. His anger was so prevalent that it turned the sky red, and his bloodlust extended throughout the whole kingdom.
His son, the son he loved deeply, was dead right in front of his feet. His lifeless body shattered Lygma’s heart, and he knelt down to hold his son.
"Why do you have my son’s body? Who killed him?"
Barry could hardly breathe, nearly falling to his knees under the pressure of Lygma’s bloodlust and unfathomable strength.
"It was Barry. He did it. I tried to stop him, but he’s the hero, so he’s really strong! I’m not even powerful, see!" Kai made himself look significantly weaker than he did. "He even killed Carleen and the other demon lords!"
Barry had no idea what Kai was doing and could only stare at him in awe. If he could speak, he would have asked. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!"
"I should have known not to trust a fucking hero! You killed my son and act like you don’t know him? Heh, you call me a demon yet you enslave one of your own! I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU!"
Lygma dropped his son in a shadow that sent his body back to the demon world, then tackled Barry out of the mansion.
"Pwahahaha! This is fucking great!" Kai took a seat on the couch and called back all of the girls.
"Hey! I was having a spa day!" Kyana threw a cucomber at Kai’s face.
Karumi jumped on Kai’s lap, bombarding him with kisses. "Why did you call us back? Did you finish having your fun? You should have invited me."
"Ha, no, that’s not why. You see, the demon king is attacking Barry right now."
A loud explosion rocked the area, shattering windows and creating a sonic blast that was so loud it could be heard all over the archipelago.
"See?"
Iris and Patty instantly got ready to fight. "We need to help him!"
"Nah, let him fight it out. It will be a really good expierence." Though he said that, Barry was getting absolutely manhandled by Lygma.
"You sure that’s a good idea?" Gwen also saw that Barry was getting his ass beat, but she wasn’t interested in stepping in to help, not that she could anyway.
Kai nodded. "It’s fine."
Barry’s arm was literally ripped off at the exact same moment.
"Yeah, it’s fine."
