Chapter 325: A meeting to determine the fate of the Continent
Barry followed the woman to a pretty, moderate castle. It wasn’t the size of a Royal Castle, but more akin to the castle of a Nobleman. Around the castle was a large, lush garden full of wonders.
Even before arriving at the castle, Barry walked through the only town on the island. He had noticed that it was completely occupied by women, and he didn’t see one man at all.
The town looked and operated normally. There were stores, merchants, schools, law enforcement, and so on, like in a regular town. Nothing even stood out besides the lack of men and the clear lack of progress in the civilization.
But even then, the architecture and society only looked to be a few decades behind compared to the rest of the continent.
"The Demon King is waiting for you in there." The woman bowed and left. Her next place to visit was where Kai was staying, not knowing that she would get a belly full of cum when she arrived.
"Phew, okay, let’s do this!" Barry walked inside the mansion, his mind secured and his sword at his hip. He was prepared for anything.
"Welcome, Sir Hero." A woman servant greeted him on the inside. She was wearing a professional maid uniform, nothing erotic, and guided Barry to a lounging room where he was to wait for the demon king to arrive.
"That didn’t go as I expected. I assumed I would be attacked the moment I stepped into this place." He leaned back on the couch, picking up the teacup that was left for him.

"So you know who I am?" Barry squinted his eyes. He expected Lgma to know who he was, but the fact that he also knew about his adventures meant that he had eyes and ears everywhere.
"Of course, I know who you are. How could I not know my rival? I also know that you’ve been causing a lot of trouble for me and my followers."
"As a hero, it’s my job to cause you problems."
Lygma chuckles, taking a sip out of his tea. "That’s fair. I guess it’s only natural that you would think that way. But what if things could be different?"
"What do you mean?" Barry hoped that Lygma wouldn’t offer him power or whatever, so they could be on the same side. If that happened, Barry would attack right away.
"I’m tired of the constant fighting. I get killed by a hero, then I come back to life, only for it to repeat over and over again. It’s pretty annoying, honestly. I just want to live peacefully, give my son a great life, and relax on this amazing island."
Barry wasn’t buying it. "Then what about all of your demons and followers? Huh? Kai told me about your dealings with some of the nobles to spread around the demonic pill."
"Oh, so that information has gotten out already? That’s great. You see, that’s a new medicine I’m working on. It can cure diseases by using demonic energy. There is a downside, though."
"Let me guess, people turn into demons."
"Ahh, so you know of it already. I’m trying to fix that."
Barry didn’t know if the demon king was joking or not. He knew about the horrible things that were done in that secret lab that Kai had found. He knew about the demon spawn, and he knew about the experiments.
"I can tell by your face that you don’t seem to believe me." Lygma was honestly pretty upset. Not angry, just upset because of his reputation.
"How can I? I know about the letters between you and Cucombar."
"Who?"
"Huh? C-Cucombar. She’s a noblewoman who was in charge of putting your pills on the market."
"Wait. My son’s assistant?"
Now Barry was extremely confused. "Your son?"
"Yes. I have been sleeping for the past few months. I left everything in charge of my son while I was taking my nap. I only woke up a week ago. That bastard still hasn’t called me yet."
’What the hell is going on? I need to call Kai!’
"Excuse me for one second." Barry contacted Kai via telepathy. It was a skill Kai gave everyone to allow long-distance communication.
’Kai! Kai, are you there?’

"Five and a half." He answered.
’Five and a half.’ Barry told Kai.
’What the fuck? I haven’t even been here for that long. Wait, does this mean that his son was leading the conquest for his father?’
’About that.’ Barry told Kai everything.

’Dunno. You killed his son, so he will probably be mad at us for that.’
