Chapter 455: 451, Get certified and kill enemies—what a thrill!

"So what," Wesley’s eyes hardened, and his handsome face turned cold as well, "I’m single, she’s unmarried, isn’t it normal for me to pursue her? As for you, playing the role of a brother-in-law, always pestering her, aren’t you afraid of criticism?"

"Ha!" Another cold laugh escaped, Nathan Moore listened as if hearing a joke. Undisturbed by Wesley’s disrespectful words, he instead strutted forward a couple of steps and stood in front of Wesley.

The two equally outstanding men faced each other on the side of the street, forming a beautiful scene. At the peak of office hours, many passersby couldn’t help but take a few more glances.

The taller one, with a face full of determination, had a slightly mischievous smile when he laughed,

while the man of average height, though having a scholarly face, exuded an aura that could not be ignored as well.

"Director Moore, do you have anything else to say? If not, I need to go up and get to work."

Seeing Nathan Moore silently staring at him with nothing to say, Wesley thought his earlier words had taken effect, after all, a brother-in-law chasing after an aunt was not a commendable act.

Just when he was feeling triumphant, he saw Nathan Moore’s hand reaching into the pocket of his thin coat, looking at him with a deep, secretive smile, yet remaining silent.

When that hand spread in front of him, there was a small booklet on it.

"What is this?" Wesley’s handsome face clearly showed shock, Nathan Moore raised an eyebrow, lifted his chin slightly and said, "Open it, see for yourself."

Under Nathan Moore’s instigating gaze, Wesley hesitantly picked up the booklet, glanced at Nathan Moore, and then slowly opened it, looking shocked as if startled.

With a snap, he closed the booklet, clenching it tightly in his palm, and looked at Nathan Moore warily, "Forging documents is illegal."

Nathan Moore once again lifted his chin as a gesture, "Give it back to me first, don’t damage it."

Wesley mechanically returned the tightly clenched booklet back to Nathan Moore, who took it, carefully spread it out and blew on it, then put it back into his coat pocket, patted it and adjusted his coat, looking down at Wesley with a contemptuous smile.

"Director Foley, I am a lawful citizen, and certainly not foolish enough to forge documents."

"Then where did this come from?"

"Ha!" Another cold laugh, Nathan Moore said, "Legal things are, of course, processed through legal procedures."

"How is that possible?" Wesley slightly frowned, keeping his expression unchanged, but took a step back as if struck by a great blow, Nathan Moore, however, looked triumphantly smug, "Everything is possible."

Having said that, he strode towards his car.

Before his prestige-filled Bentley departed, Nathan Moore didn’t forget to lean out from the lowered car window and remind, "Director Foley, thank you for taking care of my woman, but I’m taking her back now, it seems you need to hire a capable assistant again."

Watching the Bentley slowly drive away, Wesley’s hands hanging by his sides involuntarily curled up.

The investigation in T city clearly showed it was he who confined carry by his side, now, how could it have turned out like this...

Nathan Moore whistled while driving, his lifted lips unable to hide his smugness.

Bringing documents into battle feels really exhilarating!

Looking back at how that pretty boy was shocked, retreating several steps, almost falling over.

If he had known this would be the effect, he would have brought documents to work sooner, and spared his woman from others’ coveting glances.

One hand on the steering wheel, he took out his phone, fitted an earpiece, and flicked through a string of numbers, but before he could dial out, another number called in.
