Chapter 938: Chapter 936: THE PERRY FAMILY REUNITE
Meanwhile, the Perry parents were craning their necks, searching for their beloved daughters. After not seeing them for months, they truly missed them so much.
They couldn’t wait to see them and reunite.
They arrived a bit too early but didn’t mind at all. After all, what more would be precious more than their darlings?
The couple waited for a while and as they wondered if something had happened to the plane the girls were coming with, they suddenly heard the girls’ voices calling out to them.
"Mom!"
"Dad!"
There were so many fathers and mothers around but as the parents, how could they not hear the familiar voices calling out to them?
Mama and Pa Perry looked in the direction the voices were coming from and smiles beamed on their faces upon spotting the normally dressed girls though they still looked fabulous and made heads turn.
"Girls!" Ma Perry cheerfully waved towards her girls and watched them skip like little girls where they were while Pa Perry’s smile widened, the more he looked at these two treasures.
Diamond and Ruby beamed as they skipped towards their parents while the bodyguards dutifully maintained distance while carrying the luggage over.
It wasn’t long before the Perry family finally reunited. They hugged each other merrily, giggles escaping from the girls’ lips.
The other people at the airport watched this reunion with different emotions but the people in question simply happily reunited before leaving while holding hands.
"You traveled safely, right?" Ma Perry was forever worried and despite arriving well, she still asked worriedly.
Diamond shook her hand as she coyly responded, "It was smooth and, in a while, you won’t have to worry about any anger of flying publicly like this," recalling how her private plane was about to be delivered in a few weeks.
"Um, sister, what do you mean?" as they got to the airport entrance, Ruby who sensed something fishy with the statement, couldn’t help but ask, drawing the parents attention.
Diamond chuckled mysteriously as she looked at everyone and all eyes were on her.
"You ... what are you scheming?" Ma Perry asked with narrowed eyes.
She barely asks or monitors what Diamond does. After all, she was an adult and capable of protecting herself and yet this time, she couldn’t help but feel curious. After all, there was such a deep meaning to her words earlier.
"Hehe," she couldn’t help but chuckle as she saw how her parents and Ruby were looking at her that way.
It suddenly made her recall that she might not have told them about the private plane matter. The same should be true for the ancestral house, right?
"Go ahead and spill, sis!" Ruby urged, her heart racing at the thought of what her sister was hiding.
Why shouldn’t they be afraid of traveling by public planes?
It shouldn’t be what she was thinking, right?
"Sis, are you planning on chartering planes from now on?" Ruby couldn’t help but exclaim loudly as she looked at Diamond and her words somehow spread a bit and were overheard by a few people who were both entering and exiting the airport terminal.
"Are these people nuts?"
"They should be. Otherwise, why dream blindly about chartering planes? Don’t they know how expensive that is?"
Some of these people didn’t believe what they just heard and felt like they were just foolish people talking nonsense. However, a certain young lady was frowned as she looked closely at the young lady with long hair and wearing black sweatpants.
Why does that person look so familiar despite the mask?
It was as if she had seen the other person somewhere. But where?
Unfortunately, the Perry family didn’t stop. She could only be bothered with her thoughts and when they were several meters away from her, her eyes lit up as it finally dawned on her.
"It’s her!" she exclaimed, a chuckle escaping her lips.
If it was her, then anything was possible. However, if she had heard what Diamond had responded, she would have had a heart attack.
Diamond chuckled as she looked at Ruby, who nearly got the answer but not exactly.
"Hehe, why charter when you can buy?"
And the Perry family members were stunned. It took them a while before they got their bearings.
"You ....." Ruby was at a loss for words as she looked at the grinning sister of hers.
"Darling, you .... Are you saying that you bought a damn plane?"
When they were in the confines on their car, Ma Perry who had been holding back asked loudly, her hands trembling as she looked at Diamond with immense shock.
’I should have waited until we were home,’ Diamond was starting to regret it but it was already too late.
She could only face her family and obediently confess the truth.
"Hehe, I kind of bought it around my birthday but it was going to take a long time before it gets delivered. So I kind of ..... um, it strayed out of my mind to tell you," she lowered her voice as she fumbled with her fingers, looking quite aggrieved at being ganged up on.
Ma Perry at seeing Diamond’s actions laughed angrily as she pointed speechlessly at her. Ruby looked to the side, suppressing a laughter at seeing how good her sister was.
Anyone who sees her would think that she was being wronged when she was the one nearly sending everyone to the hospital in shock.
How could one buy a plane and forget about such a huge deed?
Pa Perry was at a loss for words and could only keep his sanity by not saying anything.
As for the driver in front, his body was trembling as shock overwhelmed him. To think that people buy planes and treat them as if they have layby some clothes. Life of the rich was truly ..... it couldn’t be understood at all.
However, Ma Perry, knowing her daughter she spoiled rotten, how could she not understand her pitiful antics?
There was no way she was going to let the matter go just because she was acting like a victim. Although she was falling for the act inwardly, she still steeled her heart and glared at Diamond while gnashing her teeth as she commanded, "Confess it all. What else did you do that is like this?"
She didn’t believe that Diamond hadn’t been up to nothing else all this time.
She would be a fool to think like that.
