Chapter 1695: 567. Us Three! – Additional Update for Brother “Huo Zheng Ting Hao” [9/30]
In Shadow Valley, Murphy and Triss were discussing the Black Disaster War with the shadow half-elf elders.
Considering that Adel had already handled most of the initial contacts, Murphy, as the Governor of Transylvania, just needed to promise these naturally cautious half-elves a few things to maintain a friendly relationship.
The “exploration team” of the shadow half-elves was ready to set off. They were sent through a portal to Wolf Castle and were to quickly tour Transylvania in order to decide the valley’s subsequent actions.
However, these half-elves seemed to have choices, but in reality, their options were very limited.
Everyone knew that given the current situation in Shadow Valley, it couldn’t withstand the jackal tribe from the Black Disaster. They might use their terrain advantage to stop the jackal tribe outside their valley, but once surrounded, with Shadow Valley’s meager resources, these half-elves only faced starvation.
In summary, Murphy was not worried about the half-elves stirring up trouble.
They were few in number and couldn’t cause much trouble, but they could offer players an additional race template to choose from. Honestly, the looks of the half-elves were not particularly outstanding, and not every half-elf could have a unique model like Adel. Their bodies were too slim, which might interest some “skinny” enthusiasts.
However, the features of these elves were indeed more delicate than humans, which would certainly appeal to those who appreciate beauty. It was foreseeable that the number of Lumina’s “compatriots” would increase over time.
Meanwhile, during this “high-level communication,” Hog, who had been escorted to the valley by Palano Knights, was also engaged in its own negotiations.
But Hog’s conversation partners at this moment were rather “awkward.”
“Oh, isn’t this Tear Flesh? Half a month without seeing you, how did you fall from grace?”
In a tent on the outskirts of Shadow Valley, the newly minted “Wise Wolf” Hog showed a sneer and mockery on its ugly face, as a strange undead sat opposite it.
The latter still had the physique and posture of a jackal tribe, but due to being destroyed by the death breath of the Netherworld Cerberus, it appeared as a skeleton here.
It wore a black robe to conceal itself, under the hood, the blue flames in the sockets of the jackal skeleton suggested that the former Plague Chieftain Tear Flesh had become a Necromancer.
But this Necromancer was different from those in Transylvania.
Simply put, Tear Flesh had become a full-fledged “Moon Necromancer.”
After being killed by the brainless Mummy Girl, Nifytelli did not spare the big trouble Tear Flesh who disturbed the balance of life and death. She used the rightful necromancy of the Death Moon Sect to reshape Tear Flesh as her slave.
But it was not an act of mercy.
Nifytelli merely intended to punish Tear Flesh for its disrespectful behavior towards death. As the most talented new generation of the Death Moon Sect, Mummy Girl mastered various necromantic curses, having numerous ways to ensure Tear Flesh lived every day after death in remorse and pain.
The most terrifying part was that this punishment targeted the soul directly, leaving Tear Flesh no means to overcome it with willpower.
In just under ten days, Tear Flesh had transformed from an ambitious jackal tribe chieftain to a pitiful soul seeking peace, with an aura similar to a “penitent monk” formed due to pain.
Facing Hog’s mockery, Tear Flesh barely showed any emotional fluctuations and had no intention of quarreling with Hog.
Its master, the brainless Mummy Girl Nifytelli, was not far off chatting with a group of players, trying to lure them to gather rare materials nearby to help her resummon the Netherworld Cerberus.
Her most formidable assistant was previously banished by the Fallen Priest among the Twilight followers.
She needed to summon her “adorable” Cerberus back to the material world before heading to Transylvania, to demonstrate the Death Moon’s majesty to the arrogant vampires.
Despite Nifytelli being brainless, her manic character was quite popular among players,
especially due to Mummy Girl’s unique appearance and modeling, quickly making her a “new NPC” adored by players upon appearing in Shadow Valley, particularly the Demon Eight Elites, Honest Dog Egg, and Pantsless Demon Afeng, who smoothly abandoned Spider Girl to find a new target.
They were all pursuing the Warlock and Death path, and the Death Moon Sect was acknowledged as the doctrine of true death on the continent.
Wouldn’t they frantically worship her?
Anyway, Nifytelli was busy interacting with the players, leaving Tear Flesh free to converse with Hog.
After Hog finished a string of taunts, Tear Flesh finally spoke.
And he went straight to the point:
“The Civilization Slate of my tribe! Is it with you?”
Tear Flesh asked in the unique hollow voice of the undead:
“I felt a peculiar aura from you, an ancient power that compelled my soul to bow to you, if I weren’t already dead, I might abandon all my persistence and follow you due to your persuasion.
