Chapter 1476: All Friends Reunited

"W-What’s wrong with this dress?! It is a normal dress for off-days!" Sofia felt embarrassed, but she noticed she stood out among everyone else...
After all, even I dropped the big dress in this soul ego I had, as I was wearing a black skirt, fishnets, black boots, and a black blouse with a white skull in the middle of the chest.
Yeah, despite my age, I realized I looked very youthful, so I decided to rock a gothic style, and I think I nailed it.
Though I didn’t want to go for black lipstick, and that ended being the better choice as I ended kissing Alma a lot...
"You may look a bit too formal with it, Sof," I giggled. "Anyway, are you all ready? Ah, no, wait, let’s go fetch some more groceries for the trip down."
"I was thinking about buying some more food, yeah!" Martina nodded. "What should we get~?"
On our way there, Emily and Martina easily noticed Alma and I acting much closer, holding hands, smiling and talking closely with one another, and I even hugged and kissed her forehead.
They quickly noticed there was something odd going on, so we explained to them as well...
And well, the reactions were quite mixed.
"Oh my! Really?! That’s so adorable! I had no idea if you two had it for each other! So this is true love! Kyaaaah~!" Martina loved the reveal, it felt like she was shipping us or something. "I think you’re made for each other~! Also an open relationship, huh? That’s so modern! I like that mindset~!"
Martina obviously had different standards, and perhaps because she didn’t know us for long, she wasn’t as shocked, finding it cute.
But Emily, well, she was like Sofia at first.
"EEEEH?! No way! What?! How?! When?!"
She wouldn’t stop asking these questions over and over again, it took us a good minute to calm her down, and then as we walked through the streets, we told her a bit more.
"Uh... Huh! W-Well, so that’s what happened... Damn Alma, you’re good at this, huh? I had no idea you liked Maria either, you’re sneaky," Emily sighed, patting her head.
"I-I’m sorry..." Alma sighed. "I know it is a bit surprising or awkward... but we ended... well, it ended up happening like that."
"Hmmm... I mean, I’m happy for you two..." Emily smiled, blushing a little, as she looked at me for a second, furrowing her eyebrows cutely as she pointed her finger at my chest. "Listen Maria, you better not break Alma’s heart, alright? She’s the purest and most innocent friend I’ve ever had... I’ve always protected her, so you better do the same, ok?"
"E-Emily! Don’t say those things to my girlfriend..." Alma pouted. "S-She knows! I wouldn’t have chosen her if she already wasn’t taking care of me... S-She’s nice."
"I know but I had to say it, Alma," Emily sighed, crossing her arms. "Huh, so now I’m the only one alone..."
"What? I’m single too..." Sofia sighed.
"Are you sure about that with that girl drooling for you 24/7?" Emily asked, glaring at Martina, who blushed in response.
"E-Eh? Wait, there’s no such relationship between us...! I-It’s just friendship, okay?" Sofia cried, looking at Emily and then at me, like she was desperate for me to know that.
"...It’s alright Sofia, you do you," I shrugged, placing my hand around my cute girlfriend’s wide hips. "Maybe you’ll find love one day too, keep looking."
"Yeah~!" Alma nodded, as she rested her head on my arm.
As we said that, Emily and Sofia glared at us while furrowing their eyebrows, gritting their teeth for some reason.
"U-Uh-huh..." Sofia sighed.
"Must be nice..." Emily said.
...Were they a bit jealous?
...
Well, whatever the case, we reached the mini market, entering rapidly and beginning to look for snacks, pre-made food, drinks, and more.
I quickly took all of my family’s favorites, and also some ice cream to try out the flavors of this world and everything.
Also a lot of soda, an amazing sugary drink we were missing back in Yggdrasil! Only having either tea, the rare fruit juice, or wine wasn’t really that nice, honestly.
"Alma, aren’t these chocolate cookies with strawberry cream your favs?" I wondered, walking to her side, as she was picking up some drinks.
"A-Ah, yeah but they have so much sugar..." Alma sighed. "I would rather not eat them for now..."
"Huh..."
Me and my family are so strong we never have to worry about such things... But I guess Alma had yet to ascend to our level in terms of her physique.
I suppose forcing these things into her is not good either, I should respect her decision.
"Sure then, I found this alternative though, look."
"Ooh! I didn’t know they had the same type of cookie with zero sugar!"
"Yeah, but the recipe is a bit different maybe the flavor is not the same... Also not the same company."
"I don’t mind! Here, I got some drinks too... Let’s drink something healthier without sugar, Maria."
She gave me a few of those zero-sugar soda and juices... I guess these aren’t so bad either.
Well, I am not worried at all about my health, I’m literally dead but...
I suppose to support her decisions and help her through this, I should also eat what she does, so she doesn’t feel left out or alone in this.
"Sure, thanks a lot, love."
I kissed her lips, as she smiled cutely.
I have never seen her this happy!
Gosh, this girl is really like a sunshine.
For my cute Alma, I’ll save this world and make it one where she can live peacefully.
"Here, there’s these without much salt and also no oil... and this chocolate bar without sugar either."
"Ooh! I-I want some of that too... but aren’t these too many?"
"Well, you can eat them slowly, we’ll be hunting and fighting a lot, so you may end up getting tired and needing to eat a lot too."
"Right... okay then! We better exercise a lot too..."
"I’m sure we will, we’ll be walking for kilometers."
"Ah, that sounds... exhausting... but I must do it!"
"Alma..."
I felt slightly bad she was struggling this much...
I’ve analyzed her internal body functions and everything so far, and she seems perfectly healthy.
And well, she has no health problems despite looking overweight!
