Chapter 90: The Announcement of Partnership

Chapter 90: The Announcement of Partnership

Subic Clark International Airport. Same day.

Timothy and Hana were onboard the The G700 Gulfstream private jet. They were bound to Ninoy Aquino International Airport where they would celebrate the momentous occasion that happened today.

Seated on the aisle chair, Timothy looked out of the window while Hana watched him fondly.

Who would think that the man in front of her would have a partnership deal with the largest company in the entire world. Electric vehicles and semiconductor manufacturing. In three to five years, his company would become in the top 10 most valuable companies in terms of net worth.

"Congratulations, Mr. Guerrero," Hana finally spoke. "That deal with NVIDIA is life-changing. You would definitely industrialize the Philippine economy. From services to industrial."

Timothy smiled upon hearing that. "The Philippines has a lot of potential if not only for the corrupt politicians. It disgusts me to the core when my country can rise to become a top economy only to be hindered by those individuals. Well, there’s no point in mulling about it. First and foremost, we have to find a site for the foundry of semiconductors."

"It will take a week of site inspection, Mr. Guerrero, due to the sensitive nature of the chips."

"I see," Timothy nodded his head in acknowledgement. "We are going public about the partnership later right?"

"Yes sir, so expect a lot of media coverage. The Philippine media doesn’t know about Jensen being in the country. They’ll announce soon once they landed on Newport."

"There’s going to be a lot of noise," Timothy chuckled.

NAIA Terminal 3, Pasay City — Three Hours Later

The Gulfstream G700 descended smoothly through Manila’s hazy afternoon skies, sunlight glinting off its polished white fuselage as it approached the runway. Below, the sprawl of the metro came into view, endless rooftops, the glimmer of Manila Bay, and the busy roads filled with rush-hour traffic. The jet touched down gently, its tires screeching briefly before rolling down the tarmac toward the private hangar near Newport City.

Timothy glanced outside the window and noticed several black SUVs and security vehicles already waiting near the hangar, lights flashing silently. He exhaled through his nose, the reality of what they were about to face settling in.

This was no longer a quiet business deal — it was about to become a global headline.

"Looks like the media caught on faster than we expected," Hana said softly, scrolling through her phone. "Sir, Jensen just tweeted on X five minutes ago."

Timothy turned his head, curious.

"What did he say?"

She read it aloud, word for word, from her screen:

"Proud to announce a historic partnership that will redefine the semiconductor landscape in Southeast Asia. Excited to work with visionary innovator Timothy Guerrero of TG Holdings. See you at Newport."

— Jensen Huang, NVIDIA CEO

The post had already racked up 3.4 million views, 280,000 likes, and the words ’Philippines’, ’TG Holdings’, and ’NVIDIA’ were trending globally within minutes.

News anchors from Bloomberg, Reuters, and ABS-CBN were quoting the tweet live.

Timothy let out a quiet sigh and smiled faintly. "Well, that settles it. The world knows now."

As the aircraft slowed to a stop, the door opened with a hiss, letting in a wave of humid air and faint noise from the awaiting motorcade. Hana gathered the documents, while Timothy straightened his tie and stood.

Outside, reporters were already being cordoned off by airport security, their camera flashes visible even from the tarmac. Microphones and lenses poked over barricades as they tried to catch a glimpse of the two men who had just sealed one of the largest foreign tech deals in Philippine history.

"Mr. Guerrero, over here!" one reporter shouted as Timothy exited the jet, Jensen following behind, flanked by NVIDIA aides and TG’s security team.

Both men smiled as they waved briefly but continued toward the waiting convoy.

Within minutes, they were on the road, the five-vehicle convoy cutting through traffic under police escort toward Newport Resort World, where a stage had already been prepared for an impromptu press conference.

Newport Resort World — 4:45 PM

By the time they arrived, the entire lobby and the outdoor plaza were packed with journalists, photographers, and curious onlookers. The Department of Trade and Industry had quietly coordinated with TG’s staff to secure the venue, while a digital banner displayed behind the stage:

"TG Holdings × NVIDIA: Forging the Future of Semiconductors."

Inside the VIP holding room, Timothy adjusted his jacket while Hana handed him the talking points she had prepared just in case.

"Remember, sir," she said, calm as ever. "Focus on the partnership’s economic impact, the technological leap, and national pride. Leave the specifics of location and timeline vague until we finalize the sites."

"Got it," Timothy replied with a small nod. He took one last sip of water before stepping out with Jensen, greeted instantly by the flare of camera flashes.

As they took their seats onstage, the noise swelled. The room pulsed with energy — the Philippines had never seen a tech announcement of this scale.

A few moments later, Jensen took the microphone first.

"Today marks a new Chapter not just for NVIDIA, but for Asia," he said and added. "We are partnering with TG Holdings to establish a world-class semiconductor foundry right here in the Philippines. This will be a cornerstone for the next generation of AI, automotive, and computing industries."

The audience erupted in applause. Timothy sat beside him, hands folded neatly on the table, waiting for his turn.

When his name was called, he rose, his expression composed yet proud.

"This would’ve sounded impossible," Timothy began. "A Filipino-led company entering one of the most complex, capital-intensive industries in the world. But today, we’re not just joining that race, we’re setting the pace."

He paused briefly, scanning the audience — local journalists, government officials, investors, and young engineers all listening closely.

"This partnership will bring tens of thousands of jobs, technology transfer, and opportunities for our people. It will also prove one thing: that Filipinos can create, innovate, and lead the world in advanced manufacturing. This is not just a project; it’s a statement that the Philippines is ready to rise."

Applause thundered through the hall.

Jensen smiled beside him, clapping in approval. Hana, watching from backstage, allowed herself a small, proud smile.

"NVIDIA and TG Holdings announced today the formation of Aurion Foundry Philippines, pledging an initial investment amount of 34 billion dollars! We are also open for investments which would help us build the future of the Philippine advanced manufacturing industry.

The foundry will focus on next-generation semiconductor manufacturing, specifically in the field of AI processors, high-performance computing chips, and automotive-grade microcontrollers. Once operational, it is projected to produce over 2 million wafers annually, making it one of the largest fabrication sites in Southeast Asia! Thank you for listening, that’s all!"

After his speech, the crowds erupted with applause.
