When the two flying ships began to approach each other, the people on both ships had sighted each other a long way before meeting. So when the two ships finally met, there were a lot of people on their decks looking out to see the kinds of people that they were going to stay with for six months to a year.
The people of both sects aren’t exactly strangers to each other. They know of the existence of the other sect. But most of the disciples in the second mortal coil don’t know much about the other sects.
For those who participate in the intersect competition regularly, they are familiar with the disciples of the other four sects. But those who haven’t participated once in this competition don’t know much about the other sects.
Since only the best disciples at the peak of the second mortal coil get to participate in the intersect competition. This leaves the new disciples of the sect ignorant of the other sects.
The best at the second mortal coil go on to advance to the third mortal coil, so the 105 elders at the third mortal coil are familiar with the disciples of the other sects, and part of the 100 disciples at the peak of the second mortal coil are also familiar with them.
This leaves the 300 disciples at the early stages of the second mortal coil being completely ignorant of the disciples of the other sects. They are also the ones that stood on the deck of both flying ships, staring at their counterparts on the other ship as the two flying ships passed each other by.
For some of the disciples, this mission is something exciting to them. The prospect of getting to see and experience life living in another sect.
Many of them have spent the most of their lives in the Blood Skull sect, so this will be the first time that many of them are leaving the sect. So the lack of experience with the world gave them something to look forward to on this mission.
But for Arthur, he wasn’t that interested in experiencing life in the purple flower sect. In fact, he doesn’t think that his time there will be pleasant at all. This is because he was sort of a menace when he was in the second mortal coil.
Because he peaked in strength very early on, he got to participate in the inter-sect competition four times in a row. So for 20 years, he terrorized the disciples of other sects.
He killed many disciples from other sects, and he is sure that the people that survived his reign of terror wouldn’t have forgotten about him so soon.
After all, it has only been a little more than ten years since he stopped terrorizing the people of other sects. That is just a little over half the time he spent terrorizing them.
With this kind of resume, he is sure that he will be remembered, and he will be remembered for a reputation that doesn’t exactly make the people from the other sects like him.
