Lin Qi said, “I don’t care by what means you did it. All I know is that both you and the child in your stomach are like rats that everybody scorns!”

Lin Qi said, “Yours, of course. Wasn’t I speaking clearly enough? Can’t you understand that?”

Lin Qi smiled, “Otherwise? Do you dare tell Huo Tingdong that you’re carrying his child? You don’t dare, do you? You’re afraid that if you tell him, he’ll force you to abort the child! To be born as your child is truly tragic. The mother struggles so hard to give birth to them, yet their father will never acknowledge them! Tell me, isn’t that sad? Song Shuyan, if I were you, I would have no face to give birth to the child at all. Otherwise, when the child grows up, others will only point to their backbone and curse them as bastards!”

Why should women torment each other?

When Song Shuyan saw her going to get the report, she suddenly asked with sensitivity, “Are you pregnant too?”
She couldn’t believe it.
Hadn’t Lin Qi already had two sons, and now she was pregnant again?
Lin Qi said, “Song Shuyan, can’t you stop bothering me? Your belly is so big, go back and take good care of your fetus! You think I’m competing with you on who can have more kids? I wouldn’t devalue myself like you!”
Having said this, she took the ticket, got the report, and was about to go to the doctor’s office.

She was really pregnant!
Song Shuyan couldn’t wait to look at the ultrasound, and before she could see clearly, Lin Qi came over and snatched the report back, “Are you sick? What are you robbing my report for?”
Song Shuyan said, “You’re pregnant!”
Lin Qi didn’t want to deal with her.
Song Shuyan, as if possessed, Lin Qi cursed, “Go to the Psychiatric Hospital and get your brain checked! I suspect your brain is damaged.”
Having said this, she took the report and entered the doctor’s office, turning around to lock the door.
The doctor was startled.

“Congratulations, you are pregnant!”
The doctor smiled, then picked up the ultrasound report, “Early pregnancy 5-6 weeks+, the gestational sac is still very small.”
Lin Qi glanced at the report.
Single pregnancy.
She asked, “5-6 weeks, that means it hasn’t been long since the conception, right?”
The doctor confirmed, “Yes, the embryo and heart have not developed yet!”
Lin Qi inquired, “How long before the embryo and heartbeat develop?”
The doctor thought for a moment and said, “Probably around 7 to 8 weeks, it varies from person to person. Currently, judging solely by the doubling HCG and estradiol levels, it’s not bad, it’s only the progesterone that is a bit low.”
Lin Qi said, “Progesterone is low…”
The doctor inquired, “This isn’t your first pregnancy, is it?”
She saw that Lin Qi, upon hearing the news of her pregnancy, had not shown much reaction, surely she must have had experience with childbirth before.
Lin Qi said, “It’s not my first, the first time I had in vitro and gave birth to twins. This time is a natural conception.”
The doctor’s face showed surprise, “How did you do IVF? At your age, there’s no need for IVF if you can conceive naturally!”
Lin Qi smiled and deftly changed the subject, “I was just answering your question! It’s my second pregnancy.”
The doctor said, “I think the second pregnancy is somewhat easier than the first. You don’t feel as tense as you did with your first pregnancy.”
After all, the most important thing for a pregnant woman is her state of mind; the tension is not beneficial for nurturing the fetus.
The doctor instructed, “Since it’s your second pregnancy, you should know what to pay attention to.”
Lin Qi nodded.
The doctor advised, “Go back and rest well. If there’s anything unusual, come to the hospital. If there are no special circumstances, once a month check-ups should suffice.”
She then explained some matters, Lin Qi listened to them all, picked up the report, and walked out of the consultation room.
Outside the consultation room, Lin Qi didn’t see Song Shuyan, presumably, she must have felt she made a fool of herself and left.
