Chapter 415: 415: Han was Cried by Anger

Chapter 415: Chapter 415: Han was Cried by Anger

Han said righteously, “She’s my Mommy. Mommy kissing me, isn’t that right?”

Tingdong replied, “When you grow up and marry a wife, let your wife kiss you. This is my wife; she can only kiss me!”

Han pointed at Momo: “Mommy already kissed Momo, now it’s my turn, and you’re not letting her kiss me! Hmph! Daddy is so unfair!”

He was genuinely feeling hurt, crossing his arms, his eyes growing misty, tears shimmering.

Tingdong was amused by Han’s aggrieved little face. He pressed his thin lips together, trying hard not to laugh, and said, “Just because I won’t let your Mommy kiss you, you’re ready to cry already?”

Han had been holding it in, but he was on the verge of tears. Tingdong’s teasing made it worse, leaving Han feeling utterly wronged, his eyes brimming with more and more tears. “Waaaah! Daddy is bullying me so much!”

Han clung onto Lin Qi’s leg, wailing pitifully.

Momo glanced at Tingdong: “On New Year’s, Daddy bullied Han again and made him cry. Daddy is really mean.”

Tingdong said, “He’s already eight, yet still can’t be independent, calling for Mommy all the time. My son can’t be this spoiled!”

Han sobbed and hiccupped, “Momo got kisses, but not me! Not me!”

He looked at Lin Qi with big teary eyes as if Tingdong had committed an unforgivable sin, his corners of the eyes and nose turning red.

Lin Qi chided playfully, “Honey, you can’t bully Han like this! Hurry up and cheer him up!”

Tingdong crouched down in front of Han, tugging his little hand: “Are you really crying?”

Han rubbed his eyes with his hand, feeling increasingly wronged.

He felt Daddy purposely picked on him because he thought Han was silly and easy to bully. Momo was smart, so Daddy wouldn’t dare tease him but picked on Han instead!

Otherwise, why didn’t Daddy mind when Mommy kissed Momo?

The more he thought about it, the sadder he felt. His face scrunched up, and he started bawling again, “I’m just so wronged!”

Lin Qi pressed her lips tightly, but couldn’t hold it in anymore. She burst out laughing with a “Pfft” and said, “Hahahaha!”

She wasn’t heartless, but Han crying was simply too adorable!

She suspected Tingdong deliberately made Han cry because he found Han’s crying face irresistibly cute and wanted to tease him on purpose!

Momo shared the same suspicion.

The more Momo looked at Han, the more he thought Han crying was ridiculously cute!

“Alright, Han, don’t cry anymore. How about this—Daddy won’t let Mommy kiss you, so I’ll kiss you.”

He hugged Han’s neck, puckered his little lips, and gave Han’s chubby cheek a peck with a “smack.”

Han remained a bit unwilling, staring intently at Lin Qi.

Tingdong, now in the mood to tease him, tugged at Han’s tiny hand and asked, “Han, how about Daddy kissing you instead?”

Han glared at him with red eyes, neither accepting nor rejecting.

Tingdong pulled him into a hug and kissed his cheek.

Han immediately turned to look at Lin Qi with a “swish!”

It was as though no one’s kiss could fix his grievance unless it was Mommy’s!

Lin Qi crouched down, cupped Han’s little head, and planted multiple kisses on his forehead: “Han, don’t cry anymore. Happy New Year!”

Han finally felt satisfied, breaking into a smile through his tears!

“Mommy loves Han the most!”

He hugged Lin Qi’s shoulder and planted a kiss on her cheek: “Mommy, Happy New Year! Han loves you, loves you forever!”

By the riverbank, fireworks lit up the night sky, breathtakingly beautiful.

After the fireworks ended and they returned home, it was already past two in the morning.

Han was so sleepy he kept yawning as he headed to his room to sleep.

Momo, however, had a habit of staying up for the New Year.

He had much more energy than Han and still seemed lively even close to one o’clock.

On New Year’s Day, there was no need for visiting relatives, and they could sleep in.

Lin Qi suggested, “How about we play Landlord?”

Momo had just recently learned cards and was still enthusiastic about it.

Tingdong glanced at Lin Qi and then at Momo: “We’re one short.”

Lin Qi said, “How about calling Qi Lichuan?”

Tingdong made a call to Qi Lichuan.

As soon as the call connected, Qi Lichuan said, “Happy New Year!”

Tingdong got straight to the point, “Happy New Year. We’re one short; are you in?”

Qi Lichuan replied, “Xiuyuan is with me…”

After a pause, he added, “He said he wants to join us too.”

Tingdong asked, “Isn’t he with the crew for filming?”

Qi Lichuan explained, “The crew’s on break for the holiday. He snuck out of the set.”

Tingdong said, “Just come over and let’s see.”

After hanging up, Tingdong told Lin Qi, “Ji Xiuyuan and Qi Lichuan are together, and he said he wants to join us as well.”

Lin Qi immediately became uncertain: “Five players? That’s over the limit. Landlord only supports up to four.”

Momo said, “Mommy, with five people, we can play Hidden Landlord.”

Hidden Landlord involves two decks of cards.

The rules are: The player with the visible landlord card picks a suit, and whoever has the matching suit becomes the hidden landlord.

Each suit only has two cards.

The hidden landlord remains disguised among the farmers, secretly aiding the visible landlord to secure victory.

Soon, Qi Lichuan and Ji Xiuyuan arrived.

Upon hearing about Hidden Landlord, Ji Xiuyuan got excited, rubbing his hands together: “Great! Let’s play! This sounds even better than Landlord!”

Lin Qi said, “Are we playing for money? If we are, I’m out.”

Ji Xiuyuan said, “Sis-in-law, you’re not short of money; don’t worry.”

Lin Qi replied, “No, I’m not short of money, but I don’t like gambling.”

She had taught Momo from a young age to avoid the bad habit of gambling, even for just a dollar. Gambling was addictive, escalating over time, and hard to control.

She had seen many families torn apart and destroyed by gambling, and it terrified her.

Qi Lichuan said, “If we’re not playing for money, what’s the penalty for losing? A punishment makes the game more fun.”

Tingdong chuckled, “Whoever loses has to carry Momo on their back for a lap.”

Momo, unexpectedly dragged into it, protested unhappily: “Daddy, are you punishing the losers or punishing me?”

Ji Xiuyuan whistled: “Then the losers have to strip.”

Tingdong said, “Alright.”

After all, the living room was heated.

He wouldn’t lose out.

Ji Xiuyuan asked, “What about Sis-in-law? What’s her penalty if she loses?”

Lin Qi replied, “If I lose, I’ll put on clothes.”

“Hahahahahaha!”

Momo suggested, “Just stripping isn’t fun enough. Except for Mommy, all the losers should go out and run a lap naked!”

Tingdong said, “Are you playing cards or risking lives?”

Ji Xiuyuan objected, “No way. If I run naked and someone takes a photo, I’ll be on every front page tomorrow.”

Qi Lichuan said, “If you enjoy running naked so much, go ahead.”

Tingdong said, “If you run naked, I’ll film it and, at your wedding, I’ll project it onto the big screen for all your guests to admire.”

Momo: “…”
