Chapter 83: Clash of Divine Realm Titans
A wave of spiritual energy swept across the Eastern Clan’s territory, flattening buildings like paper. If not for the emergency activation of protective formations, the entire estate would’ve been reduced to rubble.
But the true shock wasn’t the destruction, it was the aftermath.
Below, a group of elite cultivators stood bloodied and breathless. Each one carried an aura strong enough to found a sect or dominate a region. Yet now, they clutched their chests, faces flushed, some even bleeding from the mouth.
Who could unleash such devastation with a single strike?
All eyes turned skyward.
The descending figure caused expressions to shift among the Eastern Clan’s strongest.
One Eighth-Layer Divine Realm expert glared coldly.
“Summon the divine weapons. Kill him!”
Just as the God-Sealed experts prepared to strike, a more terrifying aura erupted from the rear mountain.
“Stand down.”
The voice was ancient and calm, yet it suppressed all others.
A purple-robed elder stepped forward aged, but brimming with vitality.
“Ancestor!”
Even the God-Sealed experts bowed in reverence.
This was Dongfang Mingkong, the Eastern Clan’s supreme elder, a name that shook all of Tianluo Daozhou.
He had risen through rivers of blood, unmatched in his generation. Under his leadership, the Eastern Clan had become a regional titan.
Dongfang Mingkong gazed forward, eyes thoughtful.
“Ye Zhen I didn’t expect you to reach the God-Sealed Realm so quickly.”
Ye Zhen smiled faintly.
“Wouldn’t have happened without your help.”
Dongfang Mingkong chuckled.
“I only wanted you as a disciple, even a son-in-law. I never tried to kill you.”
Ye Zhen scoffed.
“If your clan hadn’t been in crisis, you’d have dragged me back in chains.”
Dongfang Mingkong didn’t deny it.
“So you’re here for revenge?”
Ye Zhen shook his head.
“That old grudge means nothing. I’m here for my clan for a junior.”
“A junior?” Dongfang Mingkong frowned. Ye Zhen’s origins were humble. How could his descendant provoke the Eastern Clan?
Patriarch Dongfang Changxing suddenly realized.
“Senior, your junior is Ye Wushang?”
Ye Zhen smiled.
“You’re sharper than your elders.”
Dongfang Mingkong turned to his patriarch.
Dongfang Changxing quickly explained the incident.
After hearing it, Dongfang Mingkong sighed.
“Your descendant is boldly killing our prodigy in front of so many forces. He clearly doesn’t fear us.”
Ye Zhen’s expression remained calm.
“Your junior provoked first. Weakness led to death. If you have a problem, try me. As long as I live, you won’t touch the Ye Clan.”
GASP~!
The crowd was stunned. No one had ever dared speak to Dongfang Mingkong like that and lived.
Ye Zhen ignored their stares, eyes locked on Dongfang Mingkong.
The elder narrowed his gaze.
“You’re confident in your strength.”
Ye Zhen smiled.
“Words mean little. Let’s fight, then you’ll understand.”
“Interesting. Very well. Let’s take a walk through the void.”
“Agreed.”
Two massive void portals opened, swirling with chaotic energy.
Ye Zhen stepped in without hesitation.
Dongfang Mingkong turned to his clan.
“Do nothing until I return.”
Then he entered.
BOOM~!
The sky exploded. Space shattered into fragments.
Two titans clashed in the void, their battle shaking the heavens.
For three days and nights, they fought. Space collapsed and reformed again and again.
Finally, the void split open. Ye Zhen and Dongfang Mingkong emerged.
All eyes turned to the Eastern Clan’s elders.
His arrogance was gone. His gaze was heavy, filled with caution.
Ye Zhen stood calm, waiting.
Silence reigned.
At last, Dongfang Mingkong spoke words that stunned the world.
“Issue the decree. Dongfang Lu was arrogant and reckless, bringing trouble to the clan. From this day forward, he is expelled. His name was erased from the ancestral records. His life and death are no longer our concern. No one is to avenge him.”
UPROAR~!
The clan was shocked. Even the void watchers were speechless.
Dongfang Mingkong, known for his iron will, had conceded.
He turned to Ye Zhen.
“Is this acceptable?”
Ye Zhen remained composed.
“Keep your word. Or face the consequences.”
With that, he vanished into the void.
Dongfang Mingkong appeared stoic but those who watched closely saw relief in his eyes.
“Ancestor!”
The clan rushed forward, concerned.
He waved them off.
“We’ll speak later.”
The clan’s formations reactivated, blocking all divine senses.
The news spread like wildfire.
All of Tianluo Daozhou learned that Ye Wushang’s backing was a peak Divine Realm powerhouse, one who had forced the Eastern Clan’s supreme elder to yield.
Back at the Eastern Clan’s hall, Dongfang Mingkong stood before his strongest.
“Ancestor.”
Before they could finish, he coughed blood.
His aura visibly weakened.
“Ancestor!”
Panic erupted.
They knew the clan’s survival depended on him.
“It’s nothing,” he said. “He wasn’t even fighting at full strength.”
GASP~!
The crowd was shaken.
If that was only partial strength What if he went all out?
Dongfang Mingkong looked around.
“I must retreat to recover. During this time, the clan will remain low-profile. Do not provoke the Ye Clan or Ye Wushang. If anyone acts without permission I will not be merciful.”
He swept his gaze across the hall, then vanished into seclusion.
The elders exchanged glances then silently dispersed.
No one mentioned their previous plans.
Dongfang Lu’s name was banned. It was as if he had never existed.
Three months passed.
In the north of Canglan Domain, the Daxia Dynasty’s campaign continued unstoppable, overwhelming the four great powers.
