Chapter 99: 99: A Kiss?!
Huh??
Eden panicked. What the hell did he just hear?
He didn’t understand why the hell Lenny would give such random instructions like that.
Kiss him? Why would he do that out of the bloom??
"Why?" Eden said in his mind. Asking Lenny.
"A rub of intimacy between the two sparks some powers between you two. So try that at least and let’s see how accurate it is" Lenny explained to Eden.
"Intimacy? For powers?" Eden thought. He didn’t know how he felt about that.
But he was cool with it if it meant getting his powers!
Felix still had his eyes on Eden, wondering what was going through his mind. While also plotting a way to meticulously get rid of Eden.
But when Eden had stopped thinking, he started acting.
All he needed was a few steps forward, a slight push over Felix’s chest that made his back meet the tree behind him, and then standing on his toe. Eden leaned in for a rather unexpected kiss.
One that he forced on the shocked Felix.
His lips brushed against Felix’s and his mouth broke into his. Clashing his tongue into his and initiating a messy kiss. One that made it seem as though he had been hungry for it for like forever now.
Felix leaned there against the tree, Eden’s hand on his chest and another holding his neck while he kissed him.
Felix almost died in shock.
He stood there like a mannequin, almost lifeless with shock. Eyes wide open and his heart jumping in all possible areas of his body. His mouth was still but Eden’s mouth swept through his mouth.
He was mortified. Shivering in fear as a man’s lips devoured his own. He was too stunned to even act. He was paralysed for a moment, from head to toe.
And after what seemed like a minute, Felix pushed Eden off. "What... What are you doing?!"
Felix looked horrified as he glared at Eden. His expression pale with shock as he persistently cleaned his lips with hands while spitting out saliva on the ground.
He was disgusted by the stolen kiss. But Eden wasn’t.
Rather Eden had a big smile on his face.
Eden stared at his palms, purple light blooming from both arms. He could feel it, strange energy running through his veins.
He felt different. He felt stronger. He felt like one with powers now.
"This... This is it" he smiled "I... It’s it .."
While he stared at his glowing hands with a broad smile, Felix was still baffled.
"What was that for? Are you even listening to me? Hey, Why the hell did you do that??" He questioned but it didn’t seem like Eden was listening to him.
Eden still had his eyes on his palms.
And now Felix knew he wasn’t interested in hearing his complaints of sexual harassment.
He too stared at Eden’s glowing palms and immediately felt something different within.
A sharp rush of strange energy ran through his body. His felt strange. A feeling he was sure he knew. The feeling of magic energy running through his veins.
He gasped "That..." He said. But immediately he couldn’t feel the energy anymore.
As though it had just flashed, he couldn’t feel any rush anymore. Felix was excited, confused, shocked and curious at the same time.
He touched his chest "That... What was that..." He couldn’t feel it anymore.
He was certain he felt something magical a second ago. But he couldn’t feel anything anymore.
He now looked up at Eden who was still marvelling over the glowing purple light on his palms and as wild thought flashed through his mind. The kiss.
He stared at Eden’s lips now like a hungry animal staring at its prey. He was curious and anxious. Staring at those lips which he believed were behind that brief sharp rush of power.
He was curious to know. Eager to confirm. He could be wrong, but he wanted to confirm.
And without thinking much, he grabbed Eden by the neck with both palms and pulled him closer. Felix bent slightly to meet his petite face and then covered Eden’s lips with his.
It was another kiss. One initiated by Felix. And one where he was the one leading. A forced kiss from him.
His lips swept through Eden’s lips and his tongue broke into his. Engaging Eden’s tongue in a tangle with his tongue, he put everything he had in the kiss as though he had been deprived of a kiss for ages.
It was a hungry kiss. One where he held Eden tightly by the neck while licking clean every part of his mouth. His lips, his mouth and even his tongue. Their mouths were engaged in a wild dirty game that lasted for over two minutes now.
After which Eden broke it off. He guessed it had lasted this long because he had actually enjoyed it.
"What?" Edsn stared at Felix, confused.
Felix gasped softly as he placed a hand over his chest. He could feel it again, the rush of power moving through his veins.
His body was burning up with a feeling he best knew as magic.
A feeling he had long wished to encounter. He was now burning up with that feeling.
Eden stared at him, confused. He was too busy running his hand over his chest to even reply to him.
But Lenny replied to Eden "An intimate encounter between the two of you would trigger powers within the two of you for a short period of time"
"Huh?" Eden thought, saying to Lenny in his mind "Powers? He has powers too?"
"It seems so too. And you unlocked it with that kiss. So any intimacy between the two of you would potentially trigger it for the two of you"
"For how long would the triggered power stay" Eden asked Lenny.
"It’s hard to say" Lenny replied "But I think the more intimate the encounter is, the longer it’s likely to last"
"..." Eden was speechless.
Lenny then added "I think this is pretty much a stepping stone to finally discovering how to get your full powers back. Congratulations!"
