Chapter 97: He’s for me

Chapter 97: 97: He’s for me

"A Grand Marquis certainly have many others things to handle. So this should be the least of his worries" Felix pointed out.

"You don’t have to worry about my schedule. I know how to handle it perfectly well while also taking care of people who I care about" Adrian replied.

He added "And right now, I can’t let just anyone be around them for their safety"

"Then don’t worry about her safety at all, because I’m already doing the job of sending her back" Felix assured.

They were probably going to continue going on and on about it while Helen stood there not knowing what to do.

Eden could tell. And he knew he didn’t have time to watch them bicker. And so he quickly stepped in. Now standing in-between them.

"Enough of the arguments already" Eden said as they stared at them, quiet.

"Well look who we have here" Adrian said "It’s the renowned Royal Chef"

Eden stared at him. That wasn’t the title he was expecting but he guessed it was still better than the everyday wizard of EL.

"Nice to see you again" Eden cast a quick smile at him as he turned to Felix and Helen.

Eden smiled "Well, I think you should also go with him, Helen" He proposed.

Helen was confused as Eden continued "You see, I know him better. He’s a good person. A very very good person. And he’s also a noble. Very known and popular with a high rank, so he’s a better choice and safer"

The two young men stared at him, confused and surprised.

Adrain couldn’t believe he was actually vouching for him. He didn’t understand why he was though.

Felix glared at him "What are you talking about? I’m also a reliable person.."

"But you’re still a stranger. So it’s better you leave her with someone she knows, okay?" Eden said to Felix.

"For once we’re on the same page Mr wizard. That’s rare" Adrian pointed out. He was back to the Wizard tag.

"I won’t let her go with just anyone..." Felix was still persistent as Eden looked at Helen to say.

"You should consider going with him? Huh? He’s a better option. If you trust me, then trust my words. Believe me and go with him. He’s a better and safer option than a stranger"

As Eden explained, Helen slowly nodded. It was obvious she was buying his words for it.

And while she did, Felix stood there speechless.

"How dare you... I’m not a stranger. I literally saved you two..." He insisted.

And immediately, Eden broke their hand that was held together apart and now grabbed Felix’s hand in his hand, smiling at Felix "You two go, I’ll be here with him"

"What?" Felix questioned, trying to break free from Eden’s hand. But Eden held him tightly. Not letting go at all. "Let go, Let go now .."

Helen had made her way to adrain who helped her onto his horse.

The two of them sat on the horse as Adrian stared at Eden who waved at him.

"See you around then" Adrain said as he turned and took off on the horse.

Soon they were gone and Felix and Eden were the ones left there, their hands clutched together.

Felix blinked in shock as he watched the horse disappear out of sight. He was heartbroken.

Eden on the other hand smiled while watching it leave.

Mission accomplished, he thought. His hands were still held tightly to Felix’s palms.

When Felix came back to his sense, he glared at Eden who still held his hands "Let go"

"No" Eden insisted.

"What do you want with my hand?" He questioned.

"Weren’t you looking for me before? You should be glad I came to you instead. I should have left while you were busy chasing a girl" Eden pointed out.

Felix blinked.

He was momentarily distracted that he had forgotten that he had actually saved the wizard of EL from death a while ago.

Having seen his face after killing the tiger, he was shocked to see that it was the wizard of EL.

An image he had been looking for for awhile now.

He wasn’t a hundred percent sure. So still he knew he had to confirm.

But he was momentarily distracted after falling for a lady he also met.

"The wizard of EL" Felix said.

Eden smiled "It took you quite longer but we finally meet"

Felix was tall, so he had to look down while staring at Eden "So you were expecting to meet me? Interesting. Do you know me or something?"

"No. But I felt I was going to meet someone. And I guess it was you"

Felix now finally broke free from Eden’s hand that held onto his own.

"You really are built differently I guess. I wonder what the great wizard of EL is doing here lost in the middle of the forest. That doesn’t speak well of your great name" Felix stared at him.

Eden blinked "I was on an exploration. I wasn’t lost. A spiritual exploration to enhance myself"

"Is that so? So you didn’t go missing while following the crown prince in here?" He questioned.

Eden blinked.

Damn. He guessed everyone who cared to know would easily find out about the news of the great wizard of EL clinging to the crown prince.

He sorta felt embarrassed about that.

"Whatever" Eden muttered.

"So what did your intuition tell you about me? The person you were destined to me?" Felix said, folding his arms while staring at Eden

He was curious to know what the great wizard of EL had to say about him.

And just as Eden stared at him, preparing to say something, Eden heard Lenny’s voice in his head.

It was random yet clear.

"I feel it. The essence of your power. Your spiritual power. It’s near. It lingers around him..."

Eden paused on hearing Lenny’s voice. He blinked at the message Lenny gave as his eyes fixed on Felix now.

Lenny had just told him that he felt his lost power nearby.

And that his long lost Wizard power was actually lingering around Felix???
