Chapter 55: 55: Hallway Flirting
The Grand Marquis Adrian was strolling around the place for a while.
And while he strolled, he was looking for someone specifically. He was looking for Eden, the wizard of EL.
He was pretty sure he had seen him. The one standing behind Elvis, he was sure he was the one.
He had seen him leave through the door and so he guessed he might be around there or so. And so he went off to try to see if he could see him.
And he did.
Adrian didn’t only see Eden whom he was looking for, he also met him in some position with prince Lysander.
He stood there for a while, watching Eden pat his head.
"I hope I’m not interrupting anything" And then he interrupted them.
They broke off. Prince Lysander pulled away as Eden put on his face mask, adjusting it.
They turned to look at Adrian who was standing at a distance, he had a smile on.
"I finally found you" Adrain said, still standing where he stood.
Eden panicked, hoping he wasn’t the one he was talking about.
"Prince Lysander, your presence is needed inside by your parents" Adrian informed.
"Oh" Prince Lysander didn’t waste anymore time. He casually left to meet his parents who were potentially waiting for him inside.
And while he left, Adrian looked at Eden who also had his eyes on him.
Eden wondered if Adrian was lying to have prince Lysander leave.
He couldn’t tell. But either way, he guessed he was already caught by him now
He was avoiding him, but there was nowhere left to go. Because he had no choice but to face him.
He watched as Adrian make his way towards him. A sharp smile on his face as he walked up to him.
"We meet again. Sooner than I thought" He expressed.
Eden had his mask on as he stared at Adrian "And who are you? I don’t think we know each other" he adjusted his mask.
Adrian smiled "You don’t have to act dumb. I already know it’s you. That little mask can’t hide your pretty face away from me"
Eden didn’t know if to take that as a compliment or what. He casually stared at him, his mask still on. He guessed there was no way away from Adrian now.
He would have to play along with him.
Eden smiled "What if I don’t want to?"
"You can keep pretending not to know me. What’s important is that I know it’s you" Adrian said, now pulling closer to Eden.
Eden stepped backwards, his back meeting the wall. It was a dead end.
"What do you want from me?" Eden had his eyes on him too.
Adrian smiled, now close to Eden "Nothing much. I just came around to say hello. You left so abruptly the last time. You didn’t even say goodbye, so I came to see you again"
He was smiling as he spoke. Opposite of what he really was feeling and Eden was sure of that. Eden could tell that he detested him more of what he did to him last time and certainly wanted him dead.
Eden smiled "Is that so? I’m sorry, I had more important things to do so I had to run" Eden smiled, his fingers meeting Adrian’s chest.
"Something more important? And what could be more important than me?" Adrain asked, his eyes on Eden’s finger that fell on his chest.
Adrian continued "I mean, how could you still leave me after we shared what we shared that night. After having your hands and lips all over me... How could you still chose to part that quickly...?"
Eden smiled, his eyes meeting Adrian’s eyes now "I just did my service job. No feelings attached, so why would I stay behind?"
"A service? I wonder if the service Involved drugging everyone there?" Adrain spoke so casually about it that someone who didn’t know him would think it was something causal to him.
But Eden knew him. Eden could tell Adrian was pissed off about it. And he liked that he was.
"Well" Eden shrugged "I can’t tell. But I’m pretty sure it involved making you wet down there"
Eden’s eyes had briefly gone down to meet what lay between Adrian’s legs.
Eden smiled "And I can say I almost succeeded in making you wet down there..."
Adrian’s hand suddenly came up to meet Eden’s chin "Well, it’s not too late to continue. Maybe you can actually succeed in making it wet down there"
Adrain was shameless. He was one to match Eden’s freak and Eden knew that.
Eden smiled "My lord, I mean it’s pretty open here. I can’t afford having you moan aloud out here, what if someone sees? I don’t think that would be too good"
"Then would you want us to get a room here instead?" Adrian was still teasing Eden and he was sure of it.
"I don’t think that would work. I’m not interested in knowing about the thing between your legs anymore. I’m bored already" Eden smiled.
Adrian said nothing for awhile, his eyes were still on Eden’s face, his hands on his chin.
"Is that so? I guess you’ve found someone else to service. So who is it? The crown prince or... The prince?"
Eden paused for awhile. He was pretty sure that Adrian was aware of the fact that he was close to the two princes.
Eden wondered what interpretation he had of his relationship with the two.
"Do I have to answer that?" Eden raised an eyebrow.
Adrian hesitated "No. You don’t have to. I’m just curious how someone like you made your way into a place like the palace and got close to the two Princes that easily"
"Someone like me?" Eden repeated "I’m also curious to know why the hell you came to such an event. You don’t seem like one to attend Such"
Adrian smiled "Yeah you’re right. I’m not one to attend such. But I had to, if I wanted to meet you"
