Chapter 1044: Chapter 788: A Power That Shocks Everyone
In the tension-filled hall, with Finn at the helm, all the representatives of the familias have taken their seats.
Reiger also took his seat, right next to Finn, with Asafi and Aisha beside him, while Shakti and Chun were on Finn’s other side.
Once everyone was seated, Finn immediately began to explain the current situation with swift decisiveness.
The point he specifically mentioned was the six celestial spirit avatars as the initiators of the [Immortal Spirit Six Circles].
"Since everyone here has been dispatched by the guild to come here, I presume you all have some understanding of the force currently threatening the labyrinth city."
"If so, I don’t need to explain what the celestial spirit avatars are, or what they are preparing to do."
"What I’m going to explain now are the basic conditions to attack them, stop them, and rescue Orario from danger."
"That is, all six celestial spirit avatars must be defeated; missing even one is not an option."
Finn donned the mask of the wise, becoming calm and rational, speaking about the situation without a trace of emotion.
"We need to simultaneously attack all the altars on the 10th floor of the artificial dungeon, defeat the celestial spirit avatars located there, because even if one survives, the great secret magic of the celestial spirits will continue to be chanted until complete."
Upon hearing this, everyone immediately felt weighed down in their hearts.
There was no choice.
"The mere thought of there being six of those monsters is enough to make one feel despair."
Having faced a celestial spirit avatar on the 59th floor of the underground city and hunted it down with the Loki Familia, Chun rarely showed a bitter smile.
"Are the celestial spirit avatars really that strong?"
Asafi had some doubts.
"They are indeed very strong." Aisha answered Asafi’s question, frowning, and said in a steady voice: "From what I saw of that single one, its power probably far exceeded that of a floor master."
During the incident on Fengyue Street, Aisha was present on the scene and wasn’t far from that giant-type celestial spirit avatar.
She also knew that the source of that alien giant was Fulini, mutated by being parasitized by the "Treasure Bead Fetus", which made her emotions complex when discussing this matter.
"There are six monsters whose power exceeds that of a floor master..."
Shakti whispered, causing the surrounding family representatives’ expressions to change slightly.
Only Finn continued his calm explanation.
"Since we need to simultaneously attack the six celestial spirit avatars, we must split into six teams and take six routes."
Saying this, Finn took out a map and spread it on the table.
This was a map of the artificial dungeon that had been created over the past month by the joint efforts of the Loki Familia and the Ganisa Clan.
Over the past month, the Loki Familia and the Ganisa Clan had been searching for the entrances and exits of the artificial dungeon, fighting the green flesh that surged from the dungeon, and securing the routes leading to the artificial dungeon; based on this, most of the dungeon’s terrain was explored, resulting in this detailed map.
"Because our target is located on the 10th floor of the artificial dungeon, we will proceed from the shortest paths, reaching the destination as quickly as possible to carry out the strategy."
"And to quickly reach the 10th floor of the artificial dungeon, there are two methods."
"One is the light pillar of recall that rose from the artificial dungeon when Thanatos was sent away. If we jump into that large pit connected to Daedalus Street from which the light pillar ascends, we can reach the 10th floor quickest."
"The other method involves the entrances found in the dungeon because the artificial dungeon is connected to the underground city. If we invade from the entrance on the 9th floor of the dungeon, we can directly enter the 9th floor of the artificial dungeon, needing to pass only one floor to reach the 10th floor of the artificial dungeon."
"Regrettably, we have not found entrances leading to the artificial dungeon on either the 10th or 11th floors of the dungeon, whether they never existed or were destroyed by the enemy beforehand is unknown, hence we can only invade in this manner without directly reaching the 10th floor."
Spreading out the map, Finn took out six pieces and placed three at the location of the large pit on Daedalus Street and another three at the entrance on the 9th floor of the underground city leading to the 9th floor of the artificial dungeon.
"To avoid precise enemy attacks and interference, in my plan, the six teams should separate immediately, invading from either the pit on Daedalus Street or the 9th floor of the underground city."
"The First, Second, and Third teams will enter through the pit on Daedalus Street, and the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth teams will invade from the 9th floor of the dungeon."
"Once we reach the 10th floor of the artificial dungeon, each team will split into three groups, heading to the altars where the celestial spirit avatars reside along their respective routes."
Finn outlined the two initial invasion routes and the six routes upon entering the 10th floor, placing the six pieces on the six routes.
"Next is the personnel arrangement for each team."
Finn held up the first piece.
"The First team will be commanded and led by me, Finn Timna, with Bert Roka at Level 6 and Raul Nord at Level 5 as vice-captains, augmented by four Lv.5 summoning creatures."
"The Second team will be commanded and led by our familia’s vice-captain, Revilia Leos Alfr, with Ais Wallenstein at Level 6 and Anachiti Autum at Level 5 as vice-captains, augmented by four Lv.5 summoning creatures."
"The Third team will also be led by our familia’s dwarf warrior, Grace Landrock, with Thiona Silute and Theone Silute both at Level 6, supported by two Lv.5 summoning creatures."
"The Fourth team..."
At this point, Shakti suddenly spoke up, interrupting Finn.
"Excuse me, I need to interrupt for a moment," Shakti couldn’t help but ask, "Captain Finn, what exactly is the summoned creature you’ve been mentioning?"
Not only Shakti, but the others also showed expressions of confusion.
In response, Finn did not explain, and it was Reiger next to him who spoke up.
"The summoned creature mentioned here refers to the monsters I summon using Magic," Reiger explained reluctantly, "Because each and every Immortal Spirit clone possesses formidable power, to conquer such a presence, our high-level combat power and even basic combat power are severely insufficient."
"To ensure the success of the expedition and ultimate victory, the missing combat power will be supplemented by the monsters I summon using Magic."
Upon hearing this, everyone looked at each other in astonishment.
"...Are you implying that you can summon monsters with combat power equivalent to Lv.5 to assist, and so many of them?"
Chun looked at Reiger with a face of disbelief.
"I suppose so," Reiger smiled faintly and said, "The specifics will become clear to everyone once the expedition begins."
Though Reiger explained further, in everyone’s hearts, an involuntary wave of shock rose.
Lv.5 combat power, there are fewer than forty people with this level in all of Orario.
And according to Finn’s instructions, the first three squads already require ten Lv.5-level summoning creatures, doesn’t this mean this person can summon ten Lv.5 beings at will?
Isn’t this a bit too incredible?
While thinking this, the crowd still didn’t know that the truly unbelievable things were yet to come.
"I will continue explaining."
"The fourth squad will be led and commanded by the Ganisa Clan’s captain, Shakti Farma, with the deputy being all primary adventurers from your clan. I need your whole clan to be deployed to handle this route, and for precaution’s sake, there will also be two Lv.5-level summoned creatures to assist you. With eleven Lv.5 adventurers plus two Lv.5 summoned creatures, a total of thirteen Lv.5 combat powers, it should be sufficient to conquer this Immortal Spirit clone."
"The fifth squad will be led and commanded by the Hephaestos Clan’s captain, Chun Kobrand, with the deputy being the Hermes Clan’s Asafi Al Andromeda. This route will be conquered jointly by your two clans, considering you have no primary adventurers other than Chun, we will provide up to thirteen Lv.5-level summoned creatures for your side."
Finn’s calm explanation caused frequent tremors in everyone’s hearts.
These two squads alone involved the deployment of twenty-four Lv.5-level summoned creatures; plus ten from earlier, that’s thirty-four!
Yet the final sixth squad hasn’t been accounted for!
If the sixth squad has the same setup, what does that mean?
It means the Loki Clan can deploy over forty primary adventurer combat powers! Not counting leaders and officers!
All of Orario has fewer than forty primary adventurers!
Yet, the Loki Clan can deploy this high-level combat power beyond that number?
Is this clan so terrifying?
No, it’s not the clan that’s terrifying.
The truly terrifying one is the man belonging to the Loki Clan who can summon these combat powers.
Everyone focused their gaze on Reiger sitting beside Finn, their eyes expressing all sorts of emotions.
Unbelievable...
Inconceivable...
Shocked...
Horrified...
And so on, complex emotions appeared in the eyes and on the faces of the representatives of each clan.
However, Reiger seemingly did not see any of this, just sat there as if he were merely listening.
Finn quickly changed the subject.
"As for the final sixth squad, it will be led and commanded by our clan’s Reiger Brillhaut, with the deputy being our clan’s Rephilia Vireidis, and the Lv.5-level summoned creatures configured will be the remaining six."
The sixth squad has six Lv.5-level summoned creatures...
Along with thirty-four from earlier, exactly forty!
This is the maximum level of summoning Reiger can achieve by unlocking his ability to Lv.7 and using the Treasure Bead to enhance the summoning effect, all without affecting his own battle or causing extra spiritual power consumption.
The representatives of all clans present collectively lost their voices, watching the calm-faced Reiger, plunged into indescribable silence.
