Upon hearing this, Revin and Nipede nodded while silently marveling in their minds.
It wasn’t just Revin and Nipede, even Maya spoke out as if muttering to herself.

At this point, Maya truly admitted defeat to Reiger.

Seeing this, Reiger also did not press further and changed the topic.
"So, do you want to leave?"
Reiger casually asked.
Maya curled her lips.
"I’ve already mentioned it, haven’t I? Currently, I can’t leave this city too far or for too long," Maya spoke lightly. "From the day I chose to abandon my human body, I have become symbiotic with this city."
"If I were to leave this city, it would only be when the city is completely destroyed."

They had been resurrected by Maya, their bodies regenerated, once again becoming the loyal guards of the city.
Reiger and the others watched this scene until Maya’s figure disappeared into the city, visible no more, and they all withdrew their gazes.
"Let’s go," Revin said indifferently. "It’s time to go back."
Around them, the knights of the Meipros family began carrying boxes and nodded promptly.
Thus, led by Revin and Nipede, each person in turn walked into the [Portal] and vanished from there.
Liz also instinctively walked forward, only to realize after a while that Reiger was still standing in his original spot.
"Master?"
Liz called out to Reiger curiously.
"It’s okay, you go back first." Reiger smiled at the little princess and said, "I have some things to take care of, I’ll be there soon."

"Thou art the incarnation of Karmic Fire, sweeping through thousands of troops, drawing the curtain on a large-scale battle."
"Burn everything, Surtur’s Sword—my name is Alf."
As these solemn and dignified spells were chanted by Reiger, turning into echoes resonating between heaven and earth, terrifyingly high temperatures and astonishing magic power surged like a tsunami, making the atmosphere wail.

In the depths of the underground, the colossal creature that had been playing sensed something, issuing a roar powerful enough to shake the earth.
