Chapter 450: The Last Atlan.

Buche abruptly stood causing everyone outside of Sol and Xie to go on edge when he flashed his hands with his fists clenched striking the chair he was seated in and watching it hit and shatter against the wall of the large room. "Do not act as if your actions are worth gold and star gems, you are just as bad as me, there were innocent lives in there as well!"

"I know this much, maybe not as bad as you are but certainly no longer innocent of blame." Sol answered calmly, still seated while the great ring behind him began to slowly rotate. "In the past i would have considered letting them live too, but that mercy within me died on the day your allies tried to murder my labouring wife, nothing you do or say will get through to me after that what they did."

"Those who have escaped their judgement to this point are those who have repented and denounced their alliance with the Emporium, actively fighting against them and proving themselves useful," Sol stood before buche pointing at him.

"But regardless of how this interaction went, as you suspected I would never have allowed someone like you to live, I may no longer love her, but I still hold her in a sacred place in my heart where the likes of you were never meant to know or harm, but you desecrated the memory of Jun, you made her forget her death, her life-defining moment of peace where she was truly happy for the first time, even if it was through delusion brought by trauma, you robbed her of what made her Jun until that moment."

"H-how did I die?" Jun looked to her left and right, receiving small glances while those who knew remained silent as they watched Sol's interaction with their common enemy.

"I cannot forgive a word that comes from you no matter how logical or truthful, you are Zan'el's dog Ikaris's sworn enemy and an unreliable variable too dangerous to leave alone, but I am grateful that she is alive again, so as a reward, Buche, I offer you the chance to die painlessly." Sol extended his hand and a black scythe appeared in his grasp while the atmosphere around him began whispering and distorting with death mana.

"What will be your fina words before you cease to exist across all realities, Buche?"

"A new skill of Finality has been created, would you like to name it, Master Vestic?" Alpha asked out loud.

"What a horrible skill," Xie thought to himself. "Regardless of the opponent's power, anyone who is even grazed by that power will die, I knew he was prodigious, but this is a blasphemy against life itself, what need did Sovereign have to create such abominate power?"

"My last words..." Buche's temperment was subdued in the face of his ultimate demise, knowing that he could not resurrect as soon as he saw the crimson mana flickering within the black scythe. "If i had any I no longer do, but I will say this," He relaxed and turned to Sol giving him a sad and nigh unreadable expression that later turned to a gaze of hate.

"I hope you rot in hell, you Sol Vestic and everyone here who justifies your crusade of bloodshed and wave your hypocrite banner over their heads, rot for eternity in tombs of your own making, death will come for you eventually, and I pray you all meet miserable ends worthy of what you have done!"

"Will you still grant him a painless death after cursing you with that vile tongue?" Xie asked, ready to beat Buche down to a paste again.

"His words are meaningless, he has lied and manipulated all his life, one moment of clarity before his end is not enough, but I intend to keep my word at the very least," Sol spun causing the scythe to pass through Buche several times severing his soul into multiple pieces and then locking them away inside of the scythe which began eating them.

[Forbidden Tier Magic:]

"Dissolution." Sol Closed his eyes when the scars across Buche's body began eating it away as well.

I suppose this is it then, no creation of his is capable of surviving without him," Jun closed her eyes, expecting death, but after a minute had passed and she found herself still breathing the placed her hand over her chest and looked at Sol. "I'm still.

"The reason Master wanted to know how he did it was to find a way to save you in the process, I compensated for a lack of meticulous evidence by strictly tethering your existence to Master's, so as long as Sol Vestic is alive, so too will you be until you have lived a full life and die of old age."

"Everything here is settled for now, those with tasks to accomplish do so at once, there are about two more hours remaining before the Emporium comes knocking." Sol spoke up and a majority if his spectators began shimmying away.

"Master," Arla called to him, guiding Jun by her hand towards the centre of the room. "What of Jun here, it is easy to discern that she has no place amongst most of us, where will she go?"

"That is entirely up to her," Sol answered honestly. "...Jun," He looked at her fondly for the first time since meeting her again, smiling and opening his arms causing the woman to rush past Arla and crash into him with a hug. "I'm sorry," He repeated the words he had wished to say to her since first meeting her. "That you became a part of this, I am sorry that I was unable to protect you, I am sorry for being weak."

"You are still the strongest person I know, Sol." She retorted, pressing her face against his chest ahile his Godslayer features subsided into his normal white-haired divine self. "If it is okay, I still want to be of help in any way I please, amongst the crew of the ship, as a part of gathering or recon teams, I want to help take the Emporium down in whatever way I can, please." She begged.

"In that case," Ikaris approached accompanied by Dina and Alpha. "May I?" She extended her hand toward Jun's.

"Huh?" The mage extended her hand absently watching Ikaris take it and gently squeeze it, leaving a small emblem that began feeding her with mana, filling her dried reserves and slowly transforming her Magicul.

"What did you do?"

"I have re-connected you with Atla, you may not know, but after the war I destroyed the entire universe and reforged it anew to erase any trace of the demons that once brought us all so much pain." Ikaris held her hand a second longer and then released her.

"With this, I wish to begin making up for what I was unable to prevent."

"Unable to?"

"That is correct, demons were the perfect counter for Divinity back then, no matter the power a god possessed, the weakest demon would be able to fatally harm them if they interacted, that is why Milady never joined the fight herself." Arla chimed in.

"And I was unable to share this information with my people, knowing they would give up and die if I did." Ikaris added. "That is all in the past now though, outside of your case, what has been done cannot be undone, I am just glad to have the last Living Atlan before me, the last of my lineage as the former goddess of Atla."
