Chapter 213 The Attack of the Little Sprout

"…I didn't see it clearly. It was a rapid-fire gun. I dodged many shots, but one eventually hit me," Ya Nan said calmly, dabbing the sweat from her forehead.

"I'll ask about it later. This debt needs to be settled," I said. "You should go rest in the back now. You've worked hard."

"It's my duty, Boss, Chief. I'm going." Kuai Shu Ge.

Yao Yao nodded, her brows furrowed. It was clear she was deeply concerned. After all, they had been sealed together for four hundred years. She and the other eight sisters had shared love and rivalry in stillness, their bond undeniable. The "sparring" at the Hua Lou Reservoir was proof of this. Though they belonged to different factions then, they had held back, stopping at a point, merely going through the motions for show.

Ya Nan's intelligence was inaccurate, or perhaps the Mohe were too eager for revenge. Three minutes later, I heard the roar of a large convoy of cars outside the factory.

The workshop doors were very wide. I didn't go out to greet them. The Mohe were not polite either; they drove their fleet of luxury Mercedes directly into the workshop. Once inside, they parked horizontally, using the convoy to block the workshop entrance. A flurry of hurried door openings and closings—the sound of high-end car doors closing was exquisite and pleasing to the ear—followed, and a group of Mohe experts alighted, flanking the cars.

I activated my Qi perception technique. Wow, apart from Song Wenzhi standing at the front and the three people sitting in the cars, there were over a dozen people behind them, all uniformly at the Purple Qi level.

I meant people. Besides humans, at the very back, there were two demonic auras. Demons of Blue Qi, but they were dressed the same as the Purple Qi experts, in black suits and sunglasses, their appearances indistinguishable. Only their gender was apparent: one male and one female.

The three inside the cars were ordinary people, each in a separate vehicle. I could see them through the front windshield; they were middle-aged men around fifty, likely the three Song brothers.

"Which one is Wu Chengfeng? Step out here, old man!" Before I could speak, a Purple Qi expert bellowed.

"I'm right here," I said with a smile, hands behind my back.

"Him! It's him! And that slut in the pink clothes next to him! She's the one who beat me!" Song Wenzhi fumed.

The leading Purple Qi expert wasted no time. With a wave of his hand, two Purple Qi experts immediately stepped forward, preparing to apprehend me and the fox demon. The leading Purple Qi expert, however, was even more audacious; after speaking, he opened his car door and sat inside!

Could he really be so naive as to think this matter was over just like that?

"Hold on!" Yao Yao shouted. "Song Wenzhi, you son of a bitch, what kind of joke is this?"

"Oh, really? Who the hell are you to curse at me!" Song Wenzhi's eyes bulged. "You son of a bitch!"

The two Purple Qi experts, unaffected by their young master's verbal spat with my main fighter, continued to advance towards me and the fox demon. The fox demon had already taken a stance, ready for a fierce battle.

Damn it, I had prepared so many lines, and they weren't giving me a chance to speak!

Reluctantly, I decided to cut out the verbose parts of my plan and simply snapped my fingers.

The two Purple Qi experts took a few more steps forward and then stopped, looking around in confusion.

The other Purple Qi experts also scanned their surroundings, some reaching into their chests.

"What are you two dawdling for?" The Purple Qi expert in the car rolled down his window. "Quick—"

He stopped mid-sentence.

Song Wenzhi was still exchanging profanities with Yao Yao, oblivious to the many things appearing around him. It wasn't until the three phalanxes of Yin soldiers behind Yao Yao gradually revealed their forms that Song Wenzhi realized something was amiss. However, he only realized that something was wrong, not the severity of the situation. He even turned his gun towards the Yin soldiers and cursed, "You sons of bitches! Trying to scare your daddy with your ghostly tricks? What good is that?"

However, the subsequent action of one Yin soldier immediately silenced Song Wenzhi.

Although the villagers had transformed into semi-corporeal forms, they could still float. I had anticipated that Song Wenzhi would dismiss my tactic as a bluff, so I had made special arrangements for him.

Zhang Xiaomiao, wielding a five-pronged fork, suddenly floated before Song Wenzhi and exhaled a puff of ghostly energy at him with a gaping maw!
