Chapter 480 Luring the Tiger Out of the Mountain

"Do you think Admiral Hai is just a decoration?" I frowned. Getting in under the cover of night was already a stroke of luck, perhaps the Admiral's radar operators had dozed off. But in broad daylight, you want to get out?

"Then what should we do?" Chu Qi was also a little flustered.

I thought for a moment: "You contact headquarters first."

Chu Qi tried to make a call, but it wouldn't go through. Although there was a signal, our SIM cards weren't global roaming, so they couldn't be used normally in a foreign country. The phone wouldn't connect, and we hadn't purchased international data plans, so we couldn't access the internet.

"How about this, since we're already in, let's go ashore, find a place with Wi-Fi, and contact headquarters from there?" Chu Qi suggested.

I didn't have any better ideas, so I agreed.

Chen Ke, Daji, and Xu Ran hadn't realized the gravity of the situation. They were quite happy to learn we had reached Han country!

We restarted the yacht's engine and steered into the port before us. This wasn't an Admiral's port, but a regular small harbor. Since it was still early morning, the fishing boats were all docked. I had to find a spot like I was looking for a parking space. With great difficulty, I found one. I wouldn't be able to reverse in, so I just hit the brakes and drove in. Finally, the bow gently bumped against a rubber tire on the shore and bounced back. I didn't know if anything was damaged.

The small yacht didn't have an anchor, but it did have a mooring line. Chu Qi pulled herself ashore and tied it to a post on the shore, effectively putting on the handbrake.

All five of us disembarked. The land part of the harbor was also very small, with a narrow strip leading to a coastal road. Fortunately, this was within the city. We crossed the road and quickly found a breakfast shop that was open. I asked Chu Qi if she knew Han language. She said no. The other three, of course, wouldn't either. However, I knew English, and I could communicate with the staff. Their English was terrible, and they even asked why we weren't speaking Han language.

I said we were on a business trip for our company and our hired translator hadn't met up with us yet.

After ordering a few breakfast items that didn't look very appetizing, I asked for the Wi-Fi password. After a lot of effort in communication, we finally understood and successfully connected to the internet. Chu Qi immediately reported to headquarters.

Headquarters was probably encountering such a troublesome situation for the first time. They asked us to stay calm and said they needed to discuss it.

Since we had ordered breakfast, we had to eat it. To be honest, I didn't have a good impression of kimchi. Combined with their rice balls, it felt worse than eating instant noodles from a supermarket.

The others felt the same. Xu Ran wasn't hungry, saying she had eaten fish the night before. She watched us eat with apparent discomfort.

After we finished breakfast, headquarters finally replied. They said they had urgently contacted the minister-counselor of Yanxia stationed in Fushan. They asked us to go there, where someone would help us obtain emergency entry and exit documents, and then arrange for our return to Yanxia through normal channels, thus avoiding any unnecessary misunderstandings.

After ending the communication, I paid with RMB. Fortunately, the staff agreed and even gave me some change. The five of us used this change to take a taxi to the minister-counselor's office. Staff members were already waiting for us. They invited us in. Of course, we used fake information, but it took some time to process the documents. I hadn't slept well last night, so I took a nap in their dormitory. After about an hour, the staff said the documents were ready and they would arrange for a car to take us to the airport.

As for the yacht, it could only be left with the minister-counselor. They would find an opportunity to destroy it, leaving no evidence.

What a waste of such a good boat, sigh.

My phone showed ten o'clock in the morning. We cleared customs smoothly and took a plane to Shengjing. It was so close, it felt like we arrived after just one takeoff and landing, less than an hour in total. The reason we didn't go directly to Lvshun was that I feared being targeted by the Mohe people once we landed there.

Upon arriving in Shengjing, we didn't turn on our phones immediately. Instead, we took a taxi. After reaching the city center, we turned on our phones and contacted Yaoyao.

They were extremely worried, asking where we had gone and why we were out of contact.

"Ah, we took a detour and visited Han country for a bit. It's fine, we'll be back by evening. Ask Yanan to continue her reconnaissance, see if Long Yue and the others are making any moves?"

"They already made their move!"

"Oh?"

"Around midnight yesterday, the Mohe people started heading north and went directly to Shengjing Airport. They are probably in Jinling now, implementing their plan against you."

It worked after all, which is good.
