I returned to the human world, went back to the statue, and after leaving the City God Temple, I called Lin Xi, asking her to quickly send some powerful handguns. Rifles wouldn't do; they were useless in close combat, only handguns would work.
Lin Xi asked me what I was doing. I said I needed to deal with a high-ranking commander in the underworld who had mastered the Iron Shirt technique. Lin Xi told me to wait for news while she contacted some research institutions. I said the fighting had already started, and research would be too late. I asked her to just get me whatever weapons they had in their Saudi arsenal.
"Then we only have Desert Eagles, ready-made, imported from Israel. We have ten, is that enough?"
"Four will be enough, and about a hundred rounds of ammunition," I replied. I had heard of these handguns; their power was astonishing, but they were a bit big and heavy, and I couldn't carry too many.
"Same old place?"
"Yes." I sat there, smoking and waiting.
This time, it didn't take as long, only the duration of two cigarettes. The guns were delivered. A large silver briefcase was air-dropped from a helicopter. When I opened it, I saw four Desert Eagles lying inside, with twelve spare magazines. Including the ones in the guns, that made fourteen spare magazines in total. I had played Counter-Strike in my youth and knew that each magazine for this gun only held seven bullets, so that was 98 rounds, which met my requirements.
I waved to the helicopter, picked up the briefcase, and returned the way I came. When I entered Sanyin Hall City using the Swift Wind Art, it was already chaos. Fifty thousand rebels and fifty thousand Sanyin Hall soldiers were slaughtering each other in the city, engaged in brutal street fighting. However, because Dongfang Jibai had quickly mobilized all the citizens, the rebels were facing enemies everywhere, often being ambushed with weapons like harpoons and hunting knives thrust from under doors and through windows.
I didn't engage in prolonged combat. I grabbed a high-ranking general from Sanyin Hall and asked him where the princess was. The general told me the commander was at the South Gate, where the fighting was most intense. The rebels were trying to break out of the city, and the commander was leading the army to block them.
I sped to the South Gate. The two sides were not engaged in a drawn-out battle, but more like a massive game of rugby. Thousands of soldiers were crammed into the narrow South Gate. The rebels were pushing outwards, while the Sanyin Hall army was blocking the gate from letting them out. Both sides were completely locked in a stalemate. The density of soldiers was so high that they couldn't even use their combat skills; they couldn't extend their limbs, they could only squeeze. Many soldiers trapped in the middle were foaming at the mouth from the pressure, and some might have already died.
Dongfang Jibai was protected, but he couldn't break out of the encirclement. Li Yuanba, using his brute strength, was charging and crashing through the rebel ranks, but his effective range was limited. Just as he managed to clear a few square meters, the empty space was immediately filled by soldiers from both sides as the battlefield shifted.
This situation couldn't continue. The South Gate had been set ablaze by the rebels before and had only recently been repaired and not yet closed. If Long Qi's army returned while they were in this stalemate, the Sanyin Hall army at the gate would be attacked from both sides.
I only had 98 bullets, so I couldn't waste them on ordinary rebels. After thinking for a while, I came up with a plan. I activated the Swift Wind Art again and ran to the snow mountain, requesting help from the Platinum Kong. However, I didn't need many; their primary mission was to attack the rebels from behind when Long Qi's army attacked the city. I only needed one large one.
The leader of the Platinum Kong sent the tallest gorilla from their tribe to me, one that stood ten meters tall when standing.
I sat on the gorilla's head, and we galloped back to Sanyin Hall. Despite its somewhat clumsy appearance, the creature's running speed was not slow. The five-kilometer journey took just over a minute. I stepped on the shoulders of the Sanyin Hall soldiers to get in and told Dongfang Jibai to order his men to abandon blocking the gate and temporarily withdraw outside the city. Dongfang Jibai asked what would happen if the rebels escaped. I said, "Don't worry, they won't get away!"
Dongfang Jibai ordered the retreat. The Sanyin Hall army withdrew from the South Gate and lined up on both sides of the gate, creating a passage. The rebels thought the Sanyin Hall army couldn't withstand their assault and immediately surged through the passage. However, before they could even rush out a hundred meters, a "snow mountain" suddenly stood up on the snow-covered ground and unleashed a barrage of left and right punches at them. Hundreds of rebels were instantly sent flying into the air, dying upon landing.
By the time the other rebels tried to retreat back into the city, it was too late. The Sanyin Hall army on the flanks attacked, and together with the Platinum Kong, they surrounded the rebels from three sides. The rebels were forced to retreat back into the city. Taking advantage of their withdrawal, the Sanyin Hall army launched a full-scale charge into the city, finally managing to close the South Gate.
I had already hidden myself in the gate tower. I ordered the large gorilla outside the city to return, as its mission was complete. The gorilla nodded and turned back into a ball of snow, running back to the snow mountain.
