Cang Ming

Chapter 46 Graduation Play

Song Xi hadn't expected that being a villain would be so difficult.

She had only intended to scare her, not even lifting a finger, and yet Yi Xiaoling had become so terrified. In her memory, when had she ever been so fragile…

Ahead, a stir suddenly erupted from the vast crowd.

Song Xi tiptoed, peering curiously.

A Rolls-Royce worth millions stopped on campus. The car door slowly opened, revealing a cascade of ink-black hair.

The man stood tall and slender, clad in a dark suit. His noble and elegant, god-sculpted, cold handsome face drew continuous shrieks from the girls present.

His clear, cold gaze swept over them, carrying a deterrent force that seemed capable of destroying everything, instilling fear.

Lou Yu Ming?!

Why was he here!

Song Xi quickly crouched down, instinctively using her hair to shield her face. When she realized what she was doing, she froze.

Why was she hiding?

"Sir, Miss Song is over there."

Yao Yifan spotted Song Xi immediately and whispered a reminder.

Lou Yu Ming's gaze was superior as he casually glanced at the person crouched on the ground. His thin lips parted, and though his words were inaudible, Yao Yifan nodded slightly and unceremoniously moved through the crowd, walking over.

Lou Yu Ming's grand arrival left the principal overwhelmed with flattery. He ordered the security guards to disperse the crowd while almost deferentially escorting him away.

Only a group of students who had never seen such a spectacle remained, filled with shock.

"Who is that handsome guy? Such a grand entrance, even the principal is afraid of him!"

"Who else could it be? Zhang Qi's uncle, the CEO of Zhang Corporation. He's a genuine tycoon! One wrong move, and the entire business circle of City A would tremble."

"Amazing..."

"Jealous? This is a chance to soar. If you can snag him, it's your skill. Wanna try?"

"I'll try! Just watch me!"

The girls spoke boldly without reservation. Although Song Xi didn't take it to heart, she felt a little uncomfortable. Just as she was about to leave, someone called out to her.

"Miss Song."

The voice was too familiar. Song Xi's footsteps faltered, and she suddenly shouted behind him, "Lou Yu Ming!"

Yao Yifan turned his head. By the time he looked back, Song Xi had vanished without a trace.

He rubbed his forehead with a headache. It was over. The sir was going to be angry.

Song Xi had run. Yao Yifan coming to find her would certainly not bring good news.

She was here to watch the performance today, and she didn't want any complications, let alone for people to discover her relationship with Lou Yu Ming!

Everyone in this school was a sharp observer; any little thing they did would be amplified. His grand appearance today made it inevitable that people would be watching.

Lou Yu Ming was different from her. He had a prominent background and strong methods; no one dared to gossip about him behind his back. But she wasn't like that. In the end, it would be her who was spurned by everyone, her who would be slandered and insulted!

She couldn't even imagine the consequences, so she had to run. It was her only option!

Meanwhile, in the principal's office.

"Mr. Lou, please rest assured! Our school has a comprehensive educational system and has cultivated talents for society in various fields. We will certainly not disappoint your expectations!"

Donating two buildings so generously was like a windfall! The principal was so happy he felt like he was about to faint. With Lou Yu Ming's support, wasn't he still afraid of not meeting the enrollment quotas set by the Ministry of Education!

Lou Yu Ming's expression was placid, as if the multi-million dollar buildings were mere trifles to him. Just then, Yao Yifan returned from outside.

"Miss Song, she ran," he reported in a low voice, so quiet that the principal had to strain his ears to catch a single word.

A flicker of darkness crossed Lou Yu Ming's eyes.

The principal chuckled awkwardly, his tone somewhat fawning. "Mr. Lou, is something wrong?"

Lou Yu Ming's expression was cold and distant. He suddenly asked, "I heard the school has a performance today?"

The principal paused, testing the waters. "Yes, it's our performing arts students. If Mr. Lou has time... perhaps you'd like to watch?"

Lou Yu Ming slowly uncrossed his legs and stood up.

The principal was overjoyed. "Mr. Lou, this way please."

With two hours left until the graduation performance, to avoid unnecessary commotion, the principal specifically arranged for Lou Yu Ming to stay in a lounge backstage while he personally made arrangements at the venue.

After a moment, the door was kicked open with a "bang."

Song Xi, wearing a black work uniform, shouted in a dialect, "Cleaning time! Everyone out, out!"

Lou Yu Ming: "..."
