Chapter 432: Ch-432: Bai Lingxi takes Stage

Yang–Yin Sect

Boom! Boom!

Most of the sect was under attack, and many buildings had already collapsed. The ground was filled with craters and sword marks. Elders and disciples were clashing fiercely with members of the Black Church, while others had already fled in fear for their lives. Countless bodies—elders and disciples alike—lay scattered across the ruined grounds.

"Huff... Huff..." Mu Feixu panted heavily, her body drenched in sweat as she glared at her opponent, who still looked perfectly fine. They had only been fighting for a few minutes, yet they had already exchanged countless blows. She glanced at Qin Mu, who appeared to be in much better condition than she was—mainly because she had already exhausted a lot of her spiritual energy defending her own peak from the Black Church before coming to his aid, gladly they were not strong otherwise by this time she would be too exhausted to move her body.

"Can you still fight?" Qin Mu asked with a frown as he noticed Mu Feixu’s dwindling reserves. At first, he hadn’t paid much attention, but now he understood—she had clearly been battling fiercely before arriving here. Judging by the blood splattered on her clothes, she had killed quite a few enemies on her way.

"I’m fine. I still have about thirty percent of my reserves left," Mu Feixu said calmly. "At the very least, I can injure him or force him to use more spiritual energy so you can finish him off."

She was just about to launch another attack when her pupils suddenly contracted. Her gaze snapped sharply toward the direction of Jade Peak.

BOOOOM!

A massive explosion erupted there, and even Qin Mu’s expression darkened as he sensed the powerful aura radiating from that direction.

"Damn, more Pure Core Realm cultivators!" Qin Mu cried out, his face turning ugly as he sensed the new aura that had just appeared near Jade Peak.

’Damn their mothers, how are Pure Core Realm cultivators popping up like vegetables on the roadside?’ Mu Feixu cursed inwardly as she glared at the Black Church member she was currently fighting.

"Surprised?" the Black Church cultivator asked with a smug grin.

"To cause maximum damage to the sects of the Black Bamboo Kingdom, our leader has gathered many elites from the organization to attack all the surrounding kingdoms," the man said proudly.

Qin Mu and Mu Feixu’s expressions darkened in shock.

"You bastards... you’re attacking other kingdoms too?" Qin Mu demanded, disbelief written across his face, while Mu Feixu frowned deeply.

"Oh yes, for our future plans, this is necessary," the man replied calmly.

’If other kingdoms are being attacked too, then it’s less frustrating,’ Qin Mu thought, his tension easing slightly. He had been worried that the other kingdoms might have secretly joined forces and orchestrated this large-scale attack on the Black Bamboo Kingdom to weaken its strength for invasion. But now, it seemed he had been overthinking—after all, the kingdoms were rivals, not allies, and some were even bitter enemies.

"Why the hell are you targeting Jade Peak?" Mu Feixu asked with a frown. Even though she often quarreled with Zhou Huixin, she still cared for her—they were childhood friends, after all. Knowing Jade Peak’s strength, there was no way they could handle even one Pure Core Realm cultivator, let alone two, whose auras she could already sense there.

"We decided to start by targeting the weakest to cause maximum damage. Even if we can’t destroy all the peaks, at least one will be wiped out," the cultivator said smugly.

"You bastard!" Mu Feixu cursed and was about to rush over, but the man blocked her path. Just as he was about to mock her—

Whoosh!

He turned his head sharply, only to see roaring flames suddenly freeze completely.

"What the hell just happened?" the man frowned, looking at Mu Feixu and Qin Mu, whose eyes flickered in realization.

"Damn, I forgot about them," Qin Mu said, clicking his tongue.

"Oh right, that bitch also has them," Mu Feixu muttered, though inwardly she was relieved.

’Fuck, another powerhouse! Just how many hidden experts does this sect have?’ the man thought, his face darkening. First it was Feng Chang, and now there were more. Panic surged within him as he hurriedly raised his hand to block the combined attack from Qin Mu and Mu Feixu.

A Few Minutes Ago

Boom!

"What the hell—" Zhou Huixin, who was in her abode, sensed the sudden attack and rushed out, only to see a huge sword arc collide with the ground, creating a massive explosion.

"Black Church!" Her pupils contracted when she saw the figure, and her face darkened further as she sensed his cultivation.

’Fourth Stage of the Golden Core Realm.’ Her expression turned serious. She was relieved that she had cultivated with Wang Ming and had grown strong enough to match the attacker. If she were still at her former strength, she wouldn’t have been able to resist at all.

’These bastards are everywhere,’ she cursed inwardly as she used her spiritual sense to scan the sect and saw chaos—disciples and elders fighting everywhere.

A Few Minutes Later

"Huff... huff..." Zhou Huixin panted heavily, nearly exhausted. She looked up to see her opponent also breathing heavily but showing no emotion—his movements were precise and calculated, which caused her heart to sink.

Whoosh!

In the next moment, hundreds of fireballs descended from the sky, setting the entire peak ablaze under her bloodshot eyes.

"Fucking hell!" she cursed as two more Pure Core Realm cultivators appeared.

"Finish her quickly, destroy the peak, and slaughter the disciples—it will cause huge damage to them," one of the Pure Core Realm cultivators ordered coldly. The other was about to attack when, to Zhou Huixin’s despairing gaze, a calm voice rang out—

"Ice Age."

The instant the words left the speaker’s mouth, the roaring flames froze solid, and within seconds, the entire peak was covered in ice and snow.

"Hmm?" The man who was about to strike halted abruptly, his gaze narrowing at the newcomer. The female figure exuded a terrifying aura—he could feel death itself from her, forcing him to become cautious.

"Bai Lingxi!" Zhou Huixin cried out, her eyes lighting up with hope. She had almost forgotten about the anomalies who had arrived with Wang Ming.
