Chapter 1802: Don’t Hesitate

Chapter 1802: Don’t Hesitate

-----

Silvia and Justicio attempted to do something about the ant. After having frozen it, they weren’t sure it would be enough to keep that monster at bay.

"KRIEEEEEHHHH!"

However, interrupting their conversation, the angry scream of a furious ant reverberated through the glacier, spreading cracks through it. Steam started coming out of every crack too!

CRACK, CRACK...!

Justicio’s face twisted in despair as he saw the creature beginning to break out of the ice. Agua’s strongest spell didn’t seem to be enough, and Silvia, realizing the fight was not over, told everyone to get ready for what was coming. She knew that the only way to beat this thing was by overwhelming it.

BOOOOM!

The glacier exploded into blazing pieces, melting into hot water as the ant emerged from within. Its little wings grew longer, made of flames, as a crown of fire appeared above its head.

Its grimoire became thrice as big too, flickering with its ethereal pages, as dozens of magic circles appeared around the ant.

"YOU’RE DEAD!!!"

It was completely furious, its magic unleashing hundreds of giant weapons made out of its Spiritual Soul Weapon power, bombarding everyone constantly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Silvia, Justicio, and Agua moved forward but didn’t walk on their own anymore. Before, they had separated because they were too afraid. The fear of death was there, palpitating within their very selves.

But now? Not anymore. They couldn’t allow themselves to be afraid of death. After getting this far, it would only continue to get worse and worse!

The only way to truly face this monster and overcome such a terrifying challenge was to charge ahead, utilize their abilities, and combine them.

They were strong. Aquarina and her parents judged that they could take on one of these ant heroes if they combined their power.

Alone, it would be impossible.

But if all three of them fought as one?

"What have I been fighting all this time for?! Am I really going to hesitate now?!"

Justicio’s eyes shone bright gold. His armor became slimmer and less bulky, suddenly encompassing him in emerald winds.

"T-This is...!?"

His eyes widened as his armor started turning green and gold. The beak of Quetzal’s monstrous form, which he was still carrying in his pocket, disappeared.

"You!"

He noticed his spirit, Goldie, devouring the beak desperately, realizing that by feeding his spirit these types of metals, his armor could also react!

"Winds! This is the power of Quetzal! Did I absorb his element through the beak he left behind when we fought?! It was a metal after all!"

Justicio smiled. The winds responded to him the same way his flames did when he was using the giant blazing ant armor.

His armor became slimmer. The legs resembled sharp bird talons, and he even grew a pair of bird-like wings made of green and gold metal.

His helmet resembled a bird’s head, with a golden beak and everything.

The true power of his Physique, his Armor, was blossoming once more!

"I have to get my shit together! As the only man here, I need to protect the girls! Where is my damn pride as a warrior?!"

Leaving behind his cowardly self, Justicio stepped forward recklessly.

The image of Aquarina jumping into danger appeared in his mind, his eyes turning green.

And then of Quetzal, a powerful man, someone he secretly wished he could be despite knowing the things the Bird Anima went through.

"I want to be someone awesome like that dude! Damn it!"

RUMBLE!

At that moment, Justicio’s entire body moved on its own, charging toward the blazing weapons. His entire body became a tornado of emerald winds.

"GAAAAAAHHHH!"

"Justicio?!"

"What are...?! Is that armor...?!"

Agua and Silvia gasped in disbelief as they saw the young man charge against everything on his own.

FLUOOOSH!

The winds gathered around his body, rapidly unleashing a devastating storm!

His spirit had changed shape. From a metallic cocoon, Goldie had suddenly evolved once more.

Hearing its master’s pleas, absorbing the mana in the environment, and the power of that beak...

That beak was charged to the brim with the divine spiritual power of the Great Spirit of the Cliff Winds!

"{Spiritual Insectoid Axe Arts}: {Windstorm Cicada’s Cry}!"

SLAAAASH!

With a single slash, a gigantic shockwave was unleashed from Justicio’s axe, cutting through the blazing weapons and destroying them by the hundreds.

"W-WHAT?!"

The ant gasped in disbelief as the winds reached it, engulfing it in deadly cutting attacks, constantly interrupting its magic from even being conjured.

"GO!!!"

Justicio raised the two girls with his winds, pushing them forward by his side as they all rushed toward the ant.

"Justicio, I didn’t know you had wind powers!" Silvia said.

"I didn’t either! That damn spirit ate the beak I got from Quetzal’s monster form!" Justicio said. "Somehow that worked out! I should’ve done that earlier!"

"Amazing! With this...!" Agua smiled. "Silvia, bring out your two hammers! I’ll unleash my strongest spells. We must overwhelm the ant from every angle! Justicio, please keep using your winds to support us!"

"Gotcha!" Justicio roared. Finally arming himself with bravery, Justicio and the girls rushed toward the ant.

"INSOLENT BASTARDS!!!"

The ant grew furious, going absolutely insane as it screamed angrily. Its magic twisted and warped, the magic circles mixing into glitching circles of strange runes.

"DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!"

The runes changed into the shape of "DIE" words. The words themselves suddenly turned into abhorrent, glitching black flame monstrosities, rushing toward the trio.

"W-What is that magic?!" Silvia gasped. "No, it doesn’t matter! Let’s break through that! Together!"

"Together!"

"Together, yeah!"

Justicio’s axe rapidly swung forward, to the left, right, above, and below, unleashing devastating slicing winds, destroying the strange magical entities.

At the same time, Agua manipulated her Aqua Arms, transforming them into massive, spinning icicles shaped like drills, piercing through the magic and unleashing a wave of freezing cold.

And Silvia charged with both of her mechanical hammers, smashing through everything with her destructive brute force.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

Eventually reaching the little magic-conjuring ant, which greeted them with hundreds of mixed, glitching magic circles turning into horrid rune-made aberrations.

"J-Just what are you?! Don’t you dare get any closer!!! DIE!"

The ant, realizing the resilience of humans, started to experience true fear.
