Chapter 341: Do You Believe Your Own Words?
Swallowing hard, Bai Hanyun took a deep breath, then slowly pulled back her naughty claw from Feng Xiyan’s clothes while praying hard.
’Please, don’t wake up! Please, don’t wake up!’
Unfortunately, before she could completely pull out her right hand, Feng Xiyan opened his eyes.
As their eyes met in the air, Bai Hanyun’s body froze.
Seeing that she looked like a thief caught red-handed, Feng Xiyan slowly looked down and saw that Bai Hanyun’s hand was inside his clothes.
In the next second, his handsome face turned so red that blood almost dripped out.
Bai Hanyun laughed awkwardly and asked timidly, "If I say that I accidentally put my hand inside, will you believe me?"
When Feng Xiyan heard this, his gaze moved downward and saw half of her body clinging to his body. The distance between them was already zero, and if Bai Hanyun moved closer, it would definitely become negative.
Not getting any response from him after a long time, Bai Hanyun followed his gaze downward. A second later, she closed her eyes in despair.
After a long, awkward silence, Feng Xiyan finally looked at her. He opened his lips and asked back, "Miss Bai, do you believe your own words?"
Because Feng Xiyan had just woken up, his voice was hoarse and deep, adding a hint of sexiness and maturity to his already attractive voice.
If it were not for the current awkward situation, Bai Hanyun would have really wanted to record his voice. Unfortunately, she was in the middle of social death and had no time to think about that.
Laughing awkwardly, Bai Hanyun closed her eyes and replied in despair, "... I will not believe it."
Seeing her funny expressions, Feng Xiyan stopped teasing her and said, "We need to continue our journey early today. Can you... Let me go first?"
Remembering that she was still clinging to him like an octopus, Bai Hanyun felt that Feng Xiyan’s body was hotter than magma and quickly retracted her naughty paws and legs.
Rolling to the end of the bed, she covered her face with her palms and screamed inwardly.
’Ah!! Someone, please kill me!’
Disturbed by her screaming, the Yang Mirror said unhappily, [You are the one who climbed onto his bed last night. Why are you acting shy now?]
When Bai Hanyun heard that, she froze and asked in disbelief, ’What did you say? I am the one who climbed onto his bed last night?’
The Yang Mirror nodded and added, [Look at where you are.]
Following his words, Bai Hanyun raised her head and looked around. As expected, she saw another bed on the other side of the tent with a fluffy mattress and a light blue soft quilt.
Looking down, Bai Hanyun realized that the bed under her was a hard folding bed, with only a thin quilt and bedding.
No wonder she had clung to Feng Xiyan’s body last night. It turned out she had felt cold and moved instinctively toward the source of heat.
While Bai Hanyun grabbed her messy hair and fell into self-doubt, Feng Xiyan got out of bed, put on his clothes, and gently said, "Yun’er, get dressed first. I will go and get some hot water for you to wash up."
Leaving those words behind, he left the tent in a good mood.
Unable to believe what she had done and what Feng Xiyan had just said, Bai Hanyun fell weakly onto the bed and muttered, "...It is over. I cannot wash myself clean even if I jump into the Yellow River..."
Looking at her face, which looked as if the world had ended, the Yang Mirror shook his head helplessly and kindly gave her advice.
[Since you have already eaten his tofu, you had better be responsible and just turn the fake into a real one.]
After saying that, the Yang Mirror closed his eyes and continued absorbing the merit inside Bai Hanyun’s dantian, leaving her in despair.
Ten minutes later, Feng Xiyan returned with a bucket of hot water. When he walked into the tent and saw that Bai Hanyun was tying her hair in a daze, he smiled and walked up to her.
Picking up the jade comb from the low table, Feng Xiyan gently helped Bai Hanyun comb her hair and said, "Yun’er, we will leave after breakfast."
Bai Hanyun nodded, then hesitated for a moment before saying, "Last night..."
Feng Xiyan’s hand paused for a second, then he softly said, "You do not need to feel burdened. We actually did not do anything last night. Besides, you have already touched and seen what you should and should not have seen. Sleeping together is really nothing."
When Bai Hanyun heard what he said and saw his blushing face, she was speechless.
"..." It is better if you do not say anything. You already look like a ripe tomato, and you still said it was nothing. Are you serious?
Finish combing her hair, Feng Xiyan said, "I will pack up our things. You should go and wash up first."
Not wanting to continue discussing last night’s matter, Bai Hanyun obediently stood up and carried the hot water to the back of the folding screen.
Watching her walk away while muttering something, Feng Xiyan chuckled and began to pack up the jade comb and Bai Hanyun’s accessories.
When Bai Hanyun came out from behind the folding screen wearing her veil hat, Feng Xiyan had already emptied the tent.
Putting the folding screen into his Qiankun Pouch, Feng Xiyan held Bai Hanyun’s hand, carried the bucket of water, and left the tent.
Seeing the two of them come out of the tent hand in hand, the soldiers exchanged meaningful glances.
Ignoring their gossipy looks, Feng Xiyan led Bai Hanyun to get their breakfast, while the soldiers packed up the tents and their sleeping bags.
An hour later, when the first sunlight broke through the eastern horizon, Feng Xiyan mounted his warhorse and pulled Bai Hanyun up to sit in front of him.
Seeing that the soldiers had packed up and were full of energy, he ordered, "Move out!"
With Feng Xiyan leading at the front, Zhan Qi, Tuluo Cheng, and the soldiers followed behind.
A moment later, Feng Yi led the shadow guards to follow the army, while Gui Ying called for the Black Dragon and sat on top of its head. With the Black Dragon flying above the army, they continued their journey to Xiquan City.
