Chapter 383: Who Dares to Touch Her!

Chapter 383: Chapter 383: Who Dares to Touch Her!

Right now, whatever Summer Sutton says lacks any evidence.

In contrast, her words are far less credible than mine.

She was actually still very afraid of Summer, afraid she would say too much, so Betty Chapman picked up the phone and called the police, "Summer Sutton, we’ll see!"

The price her daughter paid was almost her life, and Summer Sutton must pay with her life too!

If not, she’ll be in jail forever!

Ryan Walyon seemed to be shocked by Summer’s words, staring at her in a daze for quite a while without coming to his senses.

The police arrived more than ten minutes later, and after a brief understanding of the situation, they intended to take Summer Sutton away.

In a room full of people, aside from Ryan, not a single person seemed willing to help her.

Everything Summer said today was obvious; no one believed a word of it.

"Sorry, Mrs. Walyon, you need to come with us!" Considering the Walyon Family’s status, the police still maintained some courtesy.

However, Summer clearly understood that even when she was about to be taken away, the Old Master said nothing.

After being taken to the police station, if there was no evidence to prove Gina Sutton fell on her own, the police would treat her accordingly.

"Grandpa, I didn’t do it!" Summer pleaded one last time, looking at the Old Master, trying to defend herself.

The Old Master’s face was stern and tight, eyes gently closed, without saying a word.

That glance left Summer feeling half-heartedly cold.

Ryan quietly watched her, his eyes slightly darkened, seemingly trying to think of a solution.

"Let’s go, Mrs. Walyon!" The police reminded her once more.

When they saw she was motionless, ready to use forceful means, a deep rebuke suddenly sounded from outside the room, "Who dares to touch her!"

The commanding tone made everyone in the room lift their heads simultaneously, all eyes turning towards the door.

Adrian Walyon strode steadily into the room, casting a cool glance in Summer’s direction, pulling her to his side.

Raising his gaze to the few policemen in the room, he asked unemotionally, "What did my wife do wrong that warranted such a grand scene from you?"

"This, this..." The police officer was in a real bind.

Glancing at Gina Sutton on the bed, he awkwardly explained, "Mr. Walyon, your wife was involved in an attempted murder case last night, and we need her to cooperate with our investigation."

"Do you have evidence? Have you conducted an investigation yourself?" Adrian eyed him skeptically.

"There are already witnesses, last night so many people in the Walyon family saw it, sir." The officer said.

Adrian ignored him and instead turned to Summer beside him, "Summer, tell me exactly what happened?"

As soon as Summer saw him, her nose suddenly turned sour.

No matter how composed and emotionless she was when facing so many people alone just now.

Encountering Adrian, she suddenly seemed to become delicate, her armor vanished.

In this world, he was the only one who, no matter what happened, was always willing to stand by her side, believe in her, and protect her.

"Adrian, I didn’t push her! Gina fell herself! She’s been acting strangely these two nights, and last night I heard her phone call with that man; I know her secret. The child isn’t Walyon’s! I didn’t touch her at all!"

Clutching his arm, Summer stated excitedly.

After pondering her words briefly, Adrian patted her head, soothing her, "Can we still do a paternity test now?"

Summer shook her head.
