Chapter 372: Chapter 372: You and Her, It Can Never Be Possible
"Why aren’t you more careful?" Ryan Walyon frowned, grabbed a few tissues, and tried to stop the bleeding on her hand.
Summer Sutton seemed startled, hurriedly pulled her hand away, and stepped back several paces.
Her movements were quick, like being shocked; as soon as Ryan held her hand, she withdrew rapidly.
Ryan’s hand froze in mid-air, momentarily stunned.
Summer Sutton felt a bit awkward, casually wiped the blood off her finger, and shook it.
"I’m fine! Really, it’s nothing! No need to worry about me!" she said nonchalantly, but anyone with a keen eye could see she was trying to avoid suspicion.
Probably afraid of causing misunderstanding if others saw, she deliberately maintained quite some distance from Ryan.
Blood was still flowing from her hand, the bright red blood welling up, indicating a fairly deep wound, bleeding somewhat heavily.
Droplets of blood blossomed on the ground like flowers.
Ryan Walyon frowned again.
He glanced at Summer Sutton’s injured hand, and in her surprised gaze, regardless of her wishes, he forcibly pulled her hand and led her out of the kitchen.
"Come with me!"
His grip was firm and forceful, and Summer Sutton was entirely dragged out by him.
His stubborn attitude was completely different from his usual self.
This was the Walyon Family, and he and Adrian Walyon were the best of brothers!
In such a relationship, Summer Sutton thought Ryan should know how to avoid suspicion.
However, today he didn’t care about anything and held Summer Sutton’s hand with a strong grip.
Gina Sutton was watching quietly from the side, stabbing her fork into the bread on her plate over and over.
Summer Sutton was truly startled by Ryan Walyon.
If the family saw this, wouldn’t it cause misunderstandings?
"Ryan, let go of me! I told you I’m fine!" Summer Sutton panicked, trying to break free from his hand, and on the spiral staircase, Adrian Walyon’s voice suddenly rang out, "What are you doing so early in the morning?"
The abrupt voice startled Summer Sutton.
Seeing his icy face, she was even more shocked, her face instantly turning pale.
She stared at him blankly, momentarily unsure how to explain.
Adrian’s gaze swept coldly over both of them, slowly descending the stairs.
He came straight to them and, without a word, took Summer Sutton’s hand from Ryan’s grasp and led her to their room upstairs.
Ryan’s hand was left empty, his gaze stiffly turning to their backs, lost in thought.
Gina Sutton sat in the dining room, witnessing the entire scene, almost chopping her plate to pieces.
In this family, she was supposed to be Ryan’s fiancée in name.
But ever since she entered the Walyon Family, he hadn’t looked at her even once, let alone acknowledged her presence.
In contrast, his attitude towards Summer Sutton was completely different.
He cared for her so much that he didn’t care about being at the Walyon Family’s house or if the family would see, or if it would affect his brotherhood with Adrian!
It’s just a bit of blood; it’s not like anyone’s going to die!
Grinding her teeth, she stood up and walked toward Ryan, who was still standing rigid in place, and reminded him,
"Summer Sutton only has eyes for Adrian. You and she are impossible!"
Ryan regained his senses, his gaze turning cold as he replied slowly, "You and I are also forever impossible! Even if Grandpa arranges a marriage for us, and you enter this family, you’ll always be alone until old age!"
Gina Sutton stared at him blankly, her face instantly turning deathly pale.
