Chapter 411: Chapter 411: Waiting for the Wedding Day

Finding a seat by the window, she sat down.

Summer Sutton followed her in after she entered.

Sitting at a spot further away from her, she casually picked up a newspaper, pretending to read it. As Summer took her seat, her eyes occasionally glanced in her direction.

In truth, Summer didn’t have much hope for this surveillance of Gina Sutton, but she had to at least give it a try.

Gina ordered a pile of dishes for herself and quietly ate.

Halfway through the meal, a sudden ringtone broke the silence.

Summer didn’t pay much attention and ordered a cup of coffee, sipping quietly.

Unexpectedly, as Gina’s phone rang and she glanced at the caller ID number, she took her phone and headed towards the deserted backyard of the restaurant.

Summer looked in her direction, thought for a moment, and then quickly stood up to follow her.

Arriving at the backyard, Gina was on the phone.

Summer quietly hid at the corridor’s corner, quietly listening.

The backyard was unusually silent, and Summer, having decent hearing, could make out the man’s voice from the other end of the line.

"I’ve heard you’re marrying into the Walyon Family soon?"

The familiar voice made Summer’s nerves instantly go on alert.

"So what?" Gina’s slender fingers gripped her phone tightly.

The man on the phone chuckled coldly, "So what? Second Young Miss Sutton is truly ruthless, doing whatever it takes to drive away her own cousin—even risking her life! Is this what’s called a desperate struggle for survival? Many men, when it comes to ruthlessness, probably feel inferior in front of Second Young Miss Sutton!"

Gina seemed taken aback by how much the other party knew, her voice instantly turning cold, "Who are you really? Why do you know so much?"

The man ignored her question, a sneer tugging at his lips as his voice came through once more, "I just want to know, after doing so much to your cousin, how can Second Young Miss Sutton be so at ease marrying into the Walyon Family!"

Gina’s body trembled continuously, stepping back several times, her face pale.

What does this man mean?

Is he on Summer’s side?

Summer stood at the corner, attempting to record, but due to the distance, she couldn’t.

"Miss, you can’t be in the backyard!" a server’s voice suddenly came through from ahead.

Gina lifted her pale face, looking at the person briefly, as if still recovering from the shock.

Quick to react, Summer tilted her head back, swiftly returning to her seat.

Distracted by the waitstaff, Gina had to interrupt her call halfway and returned to her table.

Summer observed her for a while longer, her mind repeatedly processing what she had heard.

Now, the only one who could prove her innocence was the man Gina had just spoken to.

However, she didn’t even know who he was.

Should she find a way to check Gina’s phone call records?

If a number could reveal the caller’s identity, Gina would’ve already tracked down the person.

Moreover, she wasn’t dumb enough to leave call records for others to check.

As her brain worked tirelessly, Summer suddenly picked up the calendar on the table to check.

How many days are left until Gina and Ryan Walyon’s wedding?

Suddenly, Summer had a premonition; she had a gut feeling that if Gina really marries into the Walyon Family, the man from today would likely appear on the wedding day.
