Chapter 345: A cry for help
"I can’t believe it."
"Look at him."
"That bastard!"
"Bitch."
"That’s my spot!"
"It should have been me!"
All of Kai’s girls were staring at him as he slept with Janna in his arms. For the majority of the day, they were out with the others, taking care of the children while going shopping for baby items and checking out restaurants.
When they came back home, they noticed Kai wasn’t there, but Cassie told them he was mating with one of his new lovers in his room.
"Well, at least it’s Janna." Gwen shrugged.
"Yeah. I like Janna. She allowed me to beat up that bitch when I was in school." Amaya was about to jump on the bed, but Kyana grabbed her shirt collar before she could.
"Leave them be. Let them get their rest."
A faint chuckle escaped Nadya’s mouth. "Kai has unlimited stamina; he doesn’t need rest."
"True, but we have daughters to play with."
All of them agreed and left the room.
"Psst, Kai, they’re gone." Janna opened her eyes, shaking Kai awake
"Finally. Ready for round two?"
"Absolutely not. My body is worn out. Let me sleep."
"Heh, okay. Imma head out. I gotta say...bye," Kai looked around to see that he was in Gracia’s divine realm.
"Kai!"
"Yo. It’s been a while."
"Why did you remove my power from you?"
"Cause I didn’t need it. Besides, look at me now, I’m a demigod! Cool, isn’t it?"
"I-I guess. But that’s not why I called you here for."
"Then why didn’t you start with what you called me here for?"
"Rauna needs help!"
That was a new name he’d never heard before. "Who the fuck is Rauna?"
"What? Oh, my sister. You’re going to Astalith next, right? She’s the goddess of that land."
"Oh. Is she hot? Ha, get it? Because Astallith is the land of the sun."
"Well, I think all my sisters are beautiful. But forget that! Some weird energy is messing up the power dynamic of her land. Not just her’s either, but all of the other lands!"
Kai nearly forgot about that. "Right, the progenitor decay. It’s a very powerful form of energy that’s only meant to be used by my father. Somehow, my last living sibling...you know what, I don’t even feel like explaining it."
"I don’t care. Please help her. She needs you!"
"You literally have not one, but TWO extremely powerful deities casually chilling inside my house right now, and you’re asking ME for help?" Kai was going to help since it aligned with his plans, but he just wanted to see what she would say.
"Your parents told me to call you for help."
"Fucking bastards. Fine, I’ll head out. When are you paying me?"
"P-Paying you? What do you mean? Like money?"
"Yeah. You think I’m doing this shit for free? Ha! This isn’t charity."
Gracia didn’t know what to say. Kai had never asked for payment before, and even his parents told her to ask him for help. She didn’t even know what to repay him with.
"U-Um, I can give you—"
"I’m just fucking with you. I’ll head out later today. Am I needed right away? Or can I sail there?"
"You can...Hold on." Gracia disappeared, then quickly reappeared. "Rauna hopes you can come as quickly as possible."
"Unfortunate. Alright, I’ll tell the others." Since Kai was a demigod now, he could return to his body at will.
"Alright, everyone, time to pack!"
"Kai? What are you doing?"
"Huh? Oh, my bad. I forgot I was in here. You can keep sleeping, Janna. See ya later."
---
"So she needs your help because of this Progenitor Decay? Sounds dangerous." Kyana expressed.
"Nah, it’s fine."
"For us." She added.
"Oh, yeah, that makes sense."
"I kind of want to stay here. I missed being here." Sasha was holding a baby in her arms, rocking her as she slept.
Kai agreed. "I also want to stay with my daughters, but my parents sold me out, so I have to do the bidding of these goddesses."
"We didn’t sell you out." Leo appeared upside down, floating in the air
"Sure, sure. Anyway. Some crazy shit is going down there, so Gracia wants me to go help her sister right now."
"W-We’re not taking the ship, are we?" Kyana had had enough of the water and did not want to sail through the ocean again.
"Oh god, why did you remind me!" Sasha handed Gwen their daughter and ran to the bathroom to vomit.
"No, we’re not sailing there. We’re taking the jet." He smiled
"Jet?"
It was natural that none of them knew what a jet was, but they would learn what it was soon.
"Oh, you guys are going to love that! It’s a vehicle that can fly." Leo was looking forward to their reaction. He always thought it was funny seeing people with no modern technology react to advanced tech.
"Right! It’s sick. I hope you’re not afraid of heights." Kai glanced at Kyana.
"What? I’m not afraid of heights! I can literally fly!"
"Yeah, but jets fly really high." Kai pointed out.
"How high?" Gwen asked
"Like, above the clouds high. To the point where you can start seeing the curvature of the world."
All of them gulped. They had never been that high before, so it would be pretty nerve-racking for the first time.
"Don’t worry, you’ll be alright. TO THE JET!" Kai ran off.
"I’m coming!" Leo followed
Reluctantly, all of the girls followed as well, and Gwen handed the baby to Cassie.
"WAIT FOR ME!" Sasha shouted, running behind everyone.
Kai actually didn’t have a jet, but that didn’t matter because he could make one. Since he was a part of his system, he could craft a jet in the way he wanted.
He based it on that one show he watched as a child with mutant humans. The jet could fit 8 people, and he completely suped it out, making it more than just a fast flying jet.
The jet could fly in space, travel underwater, and was decked out with futuristic weapons. But that wasn’t all. The jet could break the sound barrier in an instant and even travel faster than light. But he would keep that for space travel.
"Alright, everyone, hop on!"
