Chapter 305: Death’s Passage
The ship rocked from side to side as it sailed through the water, waves crashing into the sides, and water levels causing it to rise or dip.
Cornelia was still steering, enjoying her time doing so as she had never been on an adventure like this before.
Everyone else was also on the deck, just relaxing, while Amaya was on lookout duty to see if any pirates were following them.
Below deck, Kai was lying in bed with Kyana sleeping in his arms. After knocking her out, he decided to relax with her, clearing his mind and getting some rest. While he didn’t need to sleep, it was very soothing, and he still felt recharged after he got some good shut-eye.
Kyana was peacefully lying on his chest, sleeping like a baby after a long day. Her breathing was calm, and there was a smile on her face as she instinctively snuggled with her lover.
Slowly, her eyes flickered awake, and she felt something warm on her body. Looking down, she saw Kai sleeping with his arm around her and a drool spot on his chest where she was sleeping.
"He’s so cute when he sleeps." Kyana wiped off the drool, kissed his cheek, and snuggled back on his chest. It was her favorite spot, and Amaya usually steals it, but this time, it was all hers.
"Huh? Karumi?" Kyana lifted her head, spotting the Kitsune lying next to Kai as well. She was completely naked and snuggled up on Kai’s chest as well. Her sleepy brain didn’t register the fox until she noticed something white lying on Kai.
"Hmm? O-Oh, Kyana. What’s up?" Karumi stretched her arms while yawning.
"Why are you here?"
"What do you mean? I have been here since the beginning. I was in my fox form, though. I don’t remember transforming back." Her large boobs took up some space on Kai’s side, slightly irritating Kyana.
She also had big boobs, but Karumi’s own were just massive. They were the largest out of Kai’s main girls, maybe even bigger than Sophie’s own.
"Well, this is my time with him, so go back to the deck."
Karumi yawned once again. "No thanks, I’ll just transform back into a fox." She transformed and went back to sleep.
’At least I have Kai’s body all to myself now.’
A few hours later, Kai woke up and felt the bodies of two naked women clinging to him. Looking down, he saw Kyana on his right, her brown skin glistening in the moonlight, and to his left, he saw Karumi, her pale skin also... glistening in the moonlight.
They were both glistening in the moonlight because the moon was shining on them like a flashlight. Even Kai was glistening in the moonlight.
Of course, Kai had to grab a handful of their tits, feeling the soft mounds in his hands while their nipples brushed against his fingers.
’Big boobs are the best.’ He smiled.
Since Kai got some good sleep, he decided to head back up to the deck to see how everyone was doing.
"Sup, y’all." Kai waved at everyone.
"Hey," Barry responded, looking over the edge of the ship.
"Good evening." Iris hugged him
"Had a good nap?" Patty asked
"Yeah." He kissed both of them.
"Are Kyana and Karumi still down there?" Gwen gave Kai a hug, missing his presence for the past few hours.
"Yeah, they’re still sleeping. Anything interesting happened when I was asleep?"
Cornelia put the ship in autopilot and took a little break. "Pirates were chasing us for a bit, but they stopped around three hours ago. After entering this passage, they didn’t follow."
"Really? They were probably given orders not to follow us since our ship is much faster." If there was one thing Kai’s ship had, it was speed. And defences, and weapons, and other cool features. Okay, Kai’s ship had eveything.
"No, it didn’t look that way. It looked as if they were scared of something and didn’t want to enter this passage."
Amaya pointed forward, shouting at everyone. "That’s probably why!"
Following her voice, saw large, jagged rock formations sticking out of the water. It didn’t take a genius to understand that this passage was a graveyard for ships that were stupid enough to pass through this place.
"Hang on!" Cornelia returned to the helm and steered clear of the rocks, doing her best not to hit one of them even by a tiny bit.
"S-Stop all this rocking!" Sasha’s upper body hung overboard as she puked her guts out. But thanks to her being over the edge, she spotted something quicker than the others. "Cornelia, watch out! There’s a whirlpool!"
"What?!"
Everyone fell off their feet as they were captured by the strong current of the whirlpool. The vortex was huge, as wide as the entire river, and there was no way they were able to make it out of the current.
"Hang on, everyone, I got this." Kai planned for everything, even whirplools. He had no interest in what lay at the bottom of the river and wasn’t planning on finding out.
He pressed a button on the helm, adding rocket boosters to the bottom of the ship. The sea vessel’s speed increased drastically, allowing them to ride the spiraling current without inching closer to the center.
"KAIIIIIIIIIIII! Y-YOU BASTARD!!!!! STOPP ITTTT!! BLEGHHHHHHHHHHH!"
He felt a little bad for Sasha, but this was necessary so they could make it out of the whirlpool.
After riding the current, allowing their speed to increase more and more, they rocketed out of the strong waters and landed back into the calm part of the river, avoiding any danger.
"That was awesome! Let’s do that again!" Amaya jumped off the crow’s nest and ran to the helm to see which button Kai pressed to make the ship go faster.
"Spinning! Everything is spinning! So dizzy!" Sasha passed out.
"Lalalalalalalalalala"
"What the heck is happening up here?" Kyana and Karumi made their way up to the helm to see everyone wet and breathing heavily. She nearly tripped over Sasha, who was knocked out on the floor.
"Lalalalalalalalalala"
"Sorry, we were just avoiding death traps." Kai hugged them both.
"Lalalalalalalalalala"
"Death traps?"
"Lalalalalalalalalala"
"Yeah. There were these pillars sticking out of the river, and then there was this whirlpool, and we almost got sucked into that, and who the fuck is singing?!"
Nadya tapped Kai’s arm and pointed to a cliffside. "Uhh, Kai, what are those?"
