Chapter 322: 318, come down right now, immediately, or bear the consequences!

After exchanging a few pleasantries with the two men, Titus Zane helped Wesley Foley into the same car. Watching the luxury car slowly drive away, Nathan Moore brought the cigarette between his fingers to his lips, took a drag, and his dark eyes slowly narrowed.

A voice inside him told him that the relationship between Titus Zane and this man was just a show, just like with Boss Tang that time.

It was also a deliberate closeness, they seemed affectionate and ambiguous, yet the moment they turned around, it was back to being single.

Suddenly, Nathan realized that what this woman was doing now was not so simple.

Back when it was with Boss Tang, he didn’t think too much of it. He thought she had no job and was making a hefty reward by clinging to rich men for a living, after all, she had broken off relations with the Zane Family.

But now, she had come to Banyan City out of nowhere and somehow became an executive assistant.

It seemed whatever she wanted was not hard to obtain at all.

And then there was Wesley Foley, whose admiration for her was obvious.

And she, in her treatment of the man, appeared enthusiastic, but anyone who knew her could tell at a glance that it was an act.

A weight fell on his shoulder, it was Felix Shaw’s hand, standing beside him, looking at the departing luxury car, "Let’s go, Big Brother, stop watching. No matter how much more we look, she’s with someone else!"

Leaving late at night with a man and a woman together, even the dumbest knew what they were likely up to.

Just after taking a puff of his cigarette, Nathan turned his gaze to Felix, his narrowed eyes clearly calculating something.

He flicked the cigarette butt away and stamped it out with the tip of his foot.

"Take a taxi back to the hotel yourself, I have things to do." After saying that, without waiting for Felix to respond, he quickly walked towards the sedan parked at the roadside, opened the back door to get in, and the car started, driving off in the direction where Titus Zane had left.

Wesley Foley was quite drunk, slumped against the backrest, pale as paper.

She had intended to send him back, but seeing such a weak man, Titus ultimately couldn’t bear to wake him.

She instructed the driver to go back to the apartment, and with his help, they both assisted Wesley into the apartment building, and placed the unconscious drunk man in the room he had slept in the night before.

Standing in front of the bed, Titus sighed.

She couldn’t understand the behavior of these men, and even found it childish.

She was not a gift to be claimed by anyone with the skill to take her.

She was a human being, a person with her own thoughts, not someone who chose who to lean towards based on who could hold their liquor better.

Seeing Wesley struggling with his tie in discomfort, Titus leaned over, helped him loosen his tie, and then removed his jacket and suit. She took off his leather shoes, covered him with a blanket, then turned off the lights and left.

The sound of a mobile phone ringtone arose, coming from a purse on the coffee table. She walked over, and just as she picked up the bag, the music had already stopped.

...

Standing downstairs of the apartment, Nathan dialed the number once more, his handsome face slightly lifted, looking up at the few lit windows above.

This was already the third time he had dialed. If that woman didn’t answer, he was going to barge in and knock on doors one by one until he found her.

Earlier, following the car carrying the woman, he had been stopped by the security guard at the gate of the apartment complex. After a few questions, he was allowed in.

After entering the apartment complex, the driver navigated between several buildings multiple times before finally finding the trace of that car.

But they passed each other by, and furthermore, the back seat of the car was empty, which likely meant that woman was now mixing around with that detestable man.

Just thinking of the possibility made Nathan want to rip the entire apartment building apart.

After a few beeps... The call was finally answered, and before he could speak, Nathan’s cold, chilling voice immediately rose.

"Come down now, immediately, without delay! Otherwise, you will bear the consequences!"
