Chapter 264: ONE DOWN
After watching Logan’s duel with Noah, many like Robert had been barely holding back their urge to fight him themselves.
They wanted to know how it felt. How powerful were Logan’s non-magical attacks?
How overwhelming was his presence?
And now... finally getting the chance, Robert wasn’t going to miss the fun.
He knew, even if there were three of them, Logan could take it. After all, he had stood toe-to-toe with Noah, an S-class hunter.
With excitement gleaming in his eyes, Robert lunged forward.
Seraphine, meanwhile, remained unreadable.
She wasn’t here to test Logan. She was here to win.
And Leonard?
He looked furious.
He wanted revenge.
Revenge for being looked down on. Revenge for being weaker. Revenge for the insult that was Logan’s strength.
All three of them moved, launched toward Logan at once.
But each carried a different purpose in their heart.
And amidst it all, Logan stood like a mountain, unfazed, immovable.
Seraphine was the first to reach him.
Her sword sliced through the air in a horizontal arc, crackling with lightning as it came for his neck.
But Logan...
He flipped gracefully, his hair brushing against the edge of the blade, and landed back on the ground like a falling leaf... effortless, nimble, untouchable.
"W–Wow! How did he move so swiftly like that?" Daliah’s eyes lit up with awe.
The more she watched Logan fight, the more amazed she became.
Until now, she had only seen Logan in combat once... it was during his match with her brother, the third prince.
But today? Today was different.
This was already the third battle she was witnessing...
And this one wasn’t just a duel. Logan was fighting three opponents at once.
All of them at the very peak of A-Class. One of them possibly even stronger.
Not far from her, Lilith couldn’t take her eyes away either.
She had always been proud. Always confident in her strength. That’s why her attitude had always been a little rough, smug.
But watching Logan now... she realized something.
She was far behind.
When Logan had defeated the Wyvern, she already knew someone out there was stronger.
But now, today, she understood just how vast that gap truly was.
It wasn’t close.
It wasn’t something she could cover even in a few years.
It was a canyon, a yawning, insurmountable distance.
Back in the fighting stage...
Logan had just dodged Seraphine’s opening strike when she immediately adjusted her stance, twisting the angle of her blade and slashing again with even greater speed.
But Logan didn’t give her the chance to execute her attack fully.
He simply bumped her shoulder with his own and just like that, Seraphine was sent skidding backward across the ground.
By then, Robert and Leonard had arrived.
Robert’s hand flared as a fiery sphere materialized in his palm, medium-sized, pulsing with heat before he hurled it directly at Logan’s chest.
At the same time, Leonard roared forward, his fist wreathed in crackling lightning as he threw a punch with all his might.
Logan ducked low, took a smooth step forward, easily dodging Leonard’s punch and then wove through the air, bypassing the incoming fireball like a breeze through chaos.
Before the two could even react...
Bam! Bam!
Two solid punches landed squarely on Leonard and Robert’s chests, and both were sent flying backward like broken arrows.
But before Logan could even catch his breath...
Seraphine was already there.
Her sword came crashing down from above, its speed boosted by a burst of wind magic, an aerial strike that was fast, sudden, and deadly.
The crowd gasped.
This was it.
Yes, Logan was strong, maybe even stronger than expected but a bare-handed fighter against a sword? And caught by surprise?
What could he possibly do?!
But Logan...
He did something no one could have imagined.
He caught the blade.
Mid-motion.
With his bare hand.
Seraphine’s eyes widened.. truly widened for the first time.
A reaction.
She didn’t even have time to process what had just happened before a merciless punch buried itself deep into her stomach.
Whoosh!
Her body was blown away.
A collective gasp rippled through the arena.
Every mouth hung open in shock.
And though veterans like Ali, Noah, and several others who now already knew how powerful Logan truly was, even they couldn’t help but be stunned, dazed by the sheer force and skill he had just displayed.
Leonard pushed himself off the ground, teeth clenched, fury blazing in his eyes.
He wasn’t ready to give up. Not yet.
Not after everything he had just seen. Not after being humiliated like that.
With a roar, he surged forward again, air swirling around both his arms like coiling serpents. His aura flared, and the ground beneath his feet cracked with each step.
"I will defeat you no matter what." he shouted.
Two enormous air bombs appeared in his palms, lightning crackling at their surfaces. He hurled both at Logan in quick succession.
The ground sizzled as they ripped through the air.
But Logan didn’t retreat.
He charged toward them.
Everyone stared at him as if witnessing something otherworldly. Whether it was from the corners of Arcadia’s section or the balconies of other kingdoms, whether they were royal bloods or commoners... All eyes were fixed ahead, hearts pounding with anticipation.
And then...
Boom!
Smoke exploded outward, obscuring the view.
For a heartbeat, no one could see anything.
Logan had charged forward and struck both air bombs head-on with his fists.
After few seconds, he emerged....
Unscathed.
"W-what?" Seraphine muttered under her breath. "How is that even possible?! I didn’t sense any mana fluctuation. He punched those bombs with only physical strength and still emerged unscathed?!" She could barely believe even her own eyes.
Ali Arkman leaned forward slightly, his lips curving into a satisfied smile. "How long has it been?! He already seems unbeatable," he whispered.
Noah who was seated beside him didn’t say anything.
Back on stage, Leonard stood frozen.
"Those air bombs... had done nothing?"
And Logan?
He was already in front of him.
Too close.
Too fast.
Leonard barely had time to raise a guard...
Crack!
A brutal uppercut connected under his jaw, lifting his entire body off the ground. Before he could even fall back, Logan’s elbow came crashing down on his chest.
Boom!
Leonard’s body slammed into the stage like a meteor, the ground beneath him spiderwebbing on impact.
Silence.
And after that...
He didn’t move any more.
One down.
Only three remained.
Seraphine and Rober panted heavily, sweat dripping from their brows. Their clothes were scorched, dusty, cut in places.
Even Logan... was breathing harder now.
He stood at the center of the arena.. alone, chest rising and falling with slightly deep, steady breaths. His fists were still clenched, but the slight tremble in his forearms betrayed the toll the fight was taking.
After all, he had used no magic.
No spells.
No elemental attacks.
Just raw martial might and internal energy.
And his opponents?
They weren’t some B-class stragglers.
They were A-Class elites.
One of them, Seraphine Duskblade, was a sword prodigy from the kingdom of Solmyr, who was actually an S-class fighter.
And Robert, though weaker, wasn’t a pushover either.
Yet still, Logan stood.
From the balconies, reactions exploded.
"He just took out that fighter from his own kingdom like he was nothing!"
"What kind of monster is he?!"
"How is he not using any spells?! What kind of power even is that?!"
"This is insane... he’s not just keeping up, he’s dominating!"
All the kings and experienced fighters were now murmuring among themselves. By now, they have realized it accurately. That Logan was using no magic, not a single spell.
Meanwhile the King of Arcadia simply smiled. "Amazing. I am glad he is from our Kingdom."
On the field, Seraphine stepped forward again, lightning dancing at the edges of her blade. But there was hesitation in her movement now.
Her eyes narrowed. "I wasn’t holding back even a bit in my last attack. But still I can’t gain the advantage? He isn’t even using magic. What’s going on?!" She wondered.
Logan met her gaze. Calm. Focused.
From the side, Robert charged again, unwilling to prolong the fight. His fist blazed with fire as he poured every ounce of strength into a single strike.
Logan didn’t move. Not yet. He waited.. patient, composed, watching Robert close the distance.
And then, the moment the flaming punch was about to land, Logan lifted his knee, blocking it cleanly. In the same fluid motion, he twisted his body mid‑air and arced his leg outward in a spinning kick.
Robert barely managed to raise his arms to shield himself, yet the force still sent him skidding backward across the ground.
He gritted his teeth and forced himself to stop. Then he leaned forward again, refusing to back down.
At the same time, Seraphine tightened her grip on her sword, lightning crackling along the blade.
And then..
They moved. Both of them together.
Logan didn’t waver. He sprang into action as well.
