Chapter 728: Chapter 323: Cybersecurity_3

The General Sect Leader has already decided to install automated gunfire equipment in vital areas. Encounter a stranger and it’s instant death – no more BS; if you’re looking for trouble, you’ve got no one to blame but yourself.

Mercenaries are also marveling at how effective this stuff is. Who invented it?

They familiarized themselves with the Terminator 2.0 program. After a bit over an hour, White Wolf and Stanley also sent word, informing the General Sect Leader that they had found some eavesdropping devices.

Allen Zhang also called them to the machine room for a meet-up.

About ten minutes later, White Wolf and the engineer arrived, driving from the armory. They parked outside, got out of the car, and walked in with a carry bag.

“Boss, these are the listening devices we found, a total of 37.” White Wolf placed all the found eavesdropping devices on the table.

Some of the listening devices were still flashing red, monitoring, while some seemed to be monitoring in real time. As they were discovered, they instantly cut off contact.

“A total of 37? Including the electronic device I found, that makes 38. That’s all of them, right?” Allen Zhang asked.

White Wolf and the engineer exchanged looks, their faces filled with helplessness, “Boss, there really aren’t any more. We’ve searched everywhere!”

“I believe you,” Allen Zhang nodded; after all, it’s not that you’re being deliberately deceitful to the General Sect Leader, but you genuinely lack the ability.

But no one could do anything about this situation, and they would have to take the blame anyway, since they’re not experts in network technology but dedicated full-time to warfare.

The General Sect Leader then brought over an iPad, opened up the Terminator 2.0 program, and the island map graphics program developed by Blitz far away in Los Angeles, handing it to them, “Take a look yourself.”

White Wolf and the engineer took a look and were a bit surprised, as the map showed the observable island routes. Aside from camera layouts and the layout of the bay area and luxury houses, many important areas were covered in black war fog, requiring permission to unlock and view.

Undoubtedly these were also images taken from satellite shots, combined with the island’s core map to create a 3D map model.

Switching to a 2D layer and zooming in on the image, some areas were highlighted with red exclamation marks, no doubt indicating alien signal sources and listening devices.

“How could there be so many!?” White Wolf was a bit dumbfounded.

“How am I to know how you guys handle things?” Allen Zhang said, not in a good mood.

Seeing the uncomfortable expression on their faces, the General Sect Leader took it upon himself to comfort them: “All right, I know this has nothing to do with you guys, and I’m not unreasonable. Just be more vigilant in the future. Arrange for someone to dismantle those devices as soon as possible, and don’t let it happen again.”

“Thank you, boss,” White Wolf breathed a sigh of relief, sweating palms and back. He had never felt such pressure before; almost getting fried on his first day of work.

He quickly took out the walkie-talkie to arrange for manpower to work.

Not long after, the signal sources on the island map displayed on the iPad started to dim down, all of them being rooted out and destroyed, turned to residue by the time they were delivered.

Clearly, the mercenaries hated these gadgets to the point of nearly losing their jobs.

Allen Zhang also took out his phone to notify Sieg, instructing him to purchase a batch of Water Mines and spy balloons on the Opportunity Network, to be air-shipped over, and to buy some electronic components and automated triggers, as he had a major use for them.

Sieg: Should I buy Thunder Fire brand Water Mines or Mayweather’s? Are the balloons one-time military consumables or daily necessities?

Allen Zhang: Whichever is cheaper and more effective, do I even have to say it? Just stick with the Peninsula brand for the spy balloons! One-time consumables are fine, the higher they fly the better. I love these because they can be used to drop feces on South Korea.

Sieg: ok!

Having settled this matter, the General Sect Leader finally had a chance to catch his breath on his own turf.

Driving back to the hilltop villa, Gwen timely delivered several dishes for him to sample the fine food prepared by Michelin three-star chef John.

French foie gras, baked stuffed lobster, braised pigeon with celery, salmon tartare with cheese cone.

Hmm. The taste is also pretty good.

But the General Sect Leader still prefers the hometown cuisine made by Dominic.
