Chapter 130: Beautiful
"No, say it properly," he whispered his lips so close to Haruki’s ear blowing hot passion air on his already blushing skin.
"I love . . . I love this so much."
Hearing those flawless words spill out of Haruki’s lips was enough fuel for Hiroshi to go on for the next couple of hours. Regardless of Haruki’s pleas, he just wanted to hear his name spilt out of those sexy lips again and again.

Hiroshi rubbed Haruki’s lower waist and leaned closer for a kiss as he whispered, "Let’s eat dinner."
Haruki opened his phoenix eyes slightly and looked at the doctor before closing his eyes and looking away. The warm hand on his waist rubbing up and down made him sigh.
"The chef took their time making something you would like," Hiroshi murmured as he left smacking kisses from Haruki’s shoulder to his ear. "Aren’t you hungry after burning that much energy?"
"I need to rest," Haruki finally responded when he noticed the doctor was about to pull him up from the bed.
"Are you going to skip dinner?"
"I will have some late-night snacks later. I want to sleep for now."
Aki had left early for a blind date or they would have been together until dinner time. As soon as they got to the room, the doctor who seemed to have lost all hesitation during the past few weeks immediately took advantage of Haruki’s softness towards him.
Knowing what Haruki loved, he was more than willing to go to his knees, but as soon as Haruki lost his guard, he showed his true colours and took more than a mile after being given an inch. Haruki didn’t stop though.
This was not the first time, he could almost swear he was no longer just Haruki’s contract lover but his lover, his boyfriend. The words of love were easy to spill out of Haruki’s mouth when they were being intimate but he had not gotten the courage yet to ask Haruki to tell him when sober.
That wasn’t discouraging either because it seemed that every glance Haruki gave him spilt the words he wanted so badly to hear. It was as though those obsidian eyes wanted to scream those words his lips were holding back so stubbornly.
Hiroshi had considered that it was just his imagination but he was ready to be delusional at all when it was about Haruki. Haruki would join him in the kitchen when they were at his house, and he would work out with him in the evening before dinner.
He would reach for Hiroshi’s hand whenever they were close to each other, he would even lean on his shoulder whenever they sat on the sofa together, they would have simple discussions about politics, business, and medicine, so random and unplanned, yet each of them meant a lot to Hiroshi.
That was something Haruki would rarely do with him in the past but there had been in change so significant in the past weeks. It felt too good to be real and although he so badly wanted to relax and enjoy everything without overthinking, the contract period was almost over.
He would occasionally reach for his phone to check the calendar. He wondered what would happen when the period on the contract is exhausted.
Haruki opened his tired sleepy eyes that stung due to how many tears had spilt a few hours ago. He reached naturally to smooth the furrow of the doctor’s brow.
"What happened?" he asked pulling back his fingers when the handsome man before him stopped frowning.
Hiroshi could see the concern on Haruki’s face even when Haruki looked like he was about to go back to sleep. "I . . ." he began but pressed his lips together. He wanted to ask what his fate would be after the contract period.
He wanted to know whether he would have to begin planning how to live without Haruki, something he was almost certain he could never do. He was taken aback when he noticed that Haruki was glaring at him.
"I won’t consider renewing the contract if you get ugly from frowning."
Hiroshi’s eyes widened when he heard those words. He was sure of what he heard but the more he thought of it, the more he felt he might have been wrong. Haruki’s eyes only got colder before he closed his eyes and ignored the existence of the doctor.
Hiroshi felt his heart drum so hard and fast but his brain warned him. He was warned that this could all be an illusion. One he would have to wake up from, one he was forcing himself to believe in to soothe his worried heart.
Despite all those warning bells going off in his mind, he smiled. He leaned in and kissed Haruki’s cheeks. That one kiss felt too insufficient so he smacked another kiss on his cheek and another until he claimed his lips in his.
"Hmm," Haruki murmured into the wet warmth of the kiss and pushed the man off him. "I want to rest. Don’t piss me off."
Knowing that Haruki meant that warning seriously, the doctor could only give up on it. "I will have them prep something for your late-night snack just ensure you eat something.
Later that night he woke up when Haruki woke to eat. He followed him downstairs. The meals were in the fridge where the chef had shown him so he got everything ready for Haruki and served it.
"Are you eating?" Haruki asked when he noticed the man was only staring at him eating as though he was watching a show.
"Oh. I will." Hiroshi said that although he was not hungry. He went to get a chopstick and a spoon. Pulling a chair close to Haruki. He sat on it and ate from Haruki’s bowl. It was something he had imagined doing for unknown reasons.
It was as though he was not satisfied with eating on the same table with Haruki he also wanted to eat from the same plate. Haruki raised an eyebrow at his action but continued eating unbothered.
"Hmm."
Both men raised their heads towards the source of the sound. Ren stood with his eyes cold as he glanced at Hiroshi before moving his gaze to Haruki and bowed slightly.
"I came to check who was downstairs," Ren said when Haruki gave him a questioning gaze. "Good night then," he said and bowed slightly once again before turning and leaving.
Hiroshi was certain the older man hated him but he didn’t care. He knew he could not get everyone to like him so he simply shrugged and continued eating with Haruki who had also begun eating as though he didn’t notice the chilliness of his mentor’s gaze directed at the doctor.
After eating, Hiroshi prevented Haruki from going back to bed immediately. They sat down in the spacious living area of Haruki’s room and Hiroshi turned on the TV.
Two men sat leaning against each other one’s gaze fixed on the TV while ignoring the warm palm gently rubbing his hand and the other looking down at the beautiful face of the man he could not help but touch.
The next day, they both got a haircut from one of Haruki’s underlings who now ran a haircut salon chain along with some of his colleagues assigned there by Ren.
This was not the first time they were getting a weekend haircut but this was the first time Haruki agreed with the young man’s suggestion to change his hairstyle a bit rather than his usual haircut.
It was not an extreme change but when Hiroshi was done with his hair, he went to Haruki and paused on his track. The hair stylist seemed to have wanted to make Haruki’s beauty more pronounced with that subtle change.
He swallowed as he approached the man at the desk. He reached forward not caring that Haruki’s gaze was focused on his laptop. He touched the soft hair lightly before leaning closer until he blocked Haruki’s view of the laptop.
Haruki leaned against the backrest and looked up at the doctor who seemed to have gotten possessed by a clingy ghost lately. His eyes met those beautiful brown eyes and he didn’t bother to hold the smile that brightened his eyes.
"What do you think?" Haruki asked when he noticed the mesmerised look in the man’s eyes directed at him. He knew the response would be positive. It was as though he was certain that the doctor would never on any account say anything negative about him.
Hiroshi hearing Haruki request a compliment from him leaned forward to kiss those enticing lips. He pulled back and breathing close to Haruki’s ear, he replied, "Beautiful."
Haruki stiffened until the doctor pulled away from him. Beautiful? This was the first time he heard that word from the doctor directed at him. It made him hesitant to accept the way he wanted to after all that was not a word that meant anything good to him in the past decade.
Seeing the warmth in Haruki’s eyes disappear, Hiroshi felt his hands shake as he moved away from Haruki. He wanted to hit his lips for spilling such a dangerous word. He cleared his throat avoiding Haruki’s gaze and apologised, "I am sorry."
