Chapter 280: Let Her Fly

Aurelia lowered her eyes to avoid his gaze, her black eyes cool and distant beneath her lashes, her fingers tightly gripping the spoon handle, her tense fingertips turning white.

Gustavo Yates's car arrived at the door before Mason Nightshade finished his breakfast, and Gustavo Yates looked extremely anxious.

But Mason stayed with Aurelia until she finished her breakfast before setting off.

She would be joining the film set in the afternoon, and after that, they wouldn't be able to see each other every day as they did now. If he had time, he wanted to spend more of it with her.

Although he didn't know if she wanted that too.

On the way to the company, Mason opened his phone and browsed through today's business news. Suddenly, he thought of something, his mind drifted far away, and his gaze blankly watched the fleeting scenery outside the window.

Was he overthinking it?

Ha, such coincidences don't happen.

Indeed, he was overthinking it.

Mason closed his eyes, a trace of fatigue passing through his brow. Gustavo Yates glanced at him through the rearview mirror, hesitating whether to disturb the boss now, "Today... Isabel Bennett joined the film set."

Mason opened his eyes upon hearing this, his gaze deep and profound.

Seeing Mason's eyes open, Gustavo Yates continued, "I heard they have reached an agreement with the film set. Isabel Bennett's agent is quite skilled; unless something unexpected happens, she'll be joining the set this afternoon."

Mason chuckled lightly, "How's the fashion circle?"

"With your special instructions, who wouldn't show you face? KL's ad placements had good results, and already many advertisers want to sign with her. I believe soon, she will have a place in the fashion world." Gustavo Yates said, "As for the film set, I looked over the script for 'Divine Son'. The director has issues, but the plot is pretty good, it'll definitely be a hit once filmed."

"Did you keep evidence?" Mason asked casually, glancing at his phone, seemingly attentive, but his tone was subtly cold.

Gustavo hesitated for a moment, then comprehended what Mason meant, nodding, "We kept it, thanks to her cunning agent, who left plenty of evidence for us."

"Pick out a few advertisers that can quickly boost her name and arrange them for her. Also, go over the scripts and pick a few for her agent to choose from. Don't concern yourself with the character of the investors." Mason instructed calmly, his voice devoid of warmth.

Gustavo understood, "I know."

"Then select a few that are good, not too famous, but reliable brands, especially mind the conduct of their investors, make sure you check them thoroughly!"

"Once selected, send them to Aurelia's agent."

Mason added:

"Don't use my name, set up a new company outside, just say they've seen potential in Aurelia and want to invest in her."

Gustavo was confused by Mason's intention, "Don't let Young Madam know?"

"She doesn't need to know." If she finds out, she'll definitely refuse.

After a moment of silence, thinking everything had been instructed, Mason suddenly spoke, "You've agreed to her request to terminate the contract with the company, haven't you?"

Gustavo widened his eyes in surprise, "Really agree to Young Madam terminating the contract with the company?"

This also means... Young Madam might divorce Master anytime, and she might leave him anytime.

Seeing how important Young Madam is to Master, can Master really bear doing this?

Mason exhaled slowly, without further reply.

His silence had replaced his answer.

He couldn't keep forcibly binding her to his side any longer. If she wanted to fly, then let her fly.

As long as she doesn't disappear to somewhere he can't find her, it's fine.
