Chapter 1179: Chapter 340: Seizing Control of the Moon Rabbit Palace!
With this in mind, Fang Ze couldn’t help but ponder how to approach the Divine Official while still getting her to lower her guard….
Thinking and thinking, Fang Ze’s eyes lit up. An idea began to form in his mind….
…..
One hour later.
Mandy’s home, the door to Mandy’s mother’s study opened, and Mandy’s mother came out of the room chatting with the adjutant.
They exchanged a few more words in the living room, and Mandy’s mother escorted the adjutant out of her home.
Clearly, after communicating for over an hour, they had reached a consensus.
After seeing the adjutant out, Mandy’s mother approached Mandy’s tightly shut bedroom door and knocked on it.
“Knock knock knock.”
“Knock knock knock.”
She knocked twice in succession, but there was no reply. Mandy’s mother opened the door to find the room empty.
She frowned slightly, then turned to her younger daughter’s room.
“Where’s your sister?”
Hearing her mother’s inquiry, Mandy’s younger sister, who was eating fruit, blinked her innocent eyes and shook her head, “No idea. She seemed to go out a while ago.”
“Went out?” Mandy’s mother frowned even more deeply.
Not wanting to involve her younger daughter perhaps, she simply nodded and left the room without saying anything.
Leaving her younger daughter’s room, Mandy’s mother sat quietly in the living room, lost in thought. After a moment, as if realizing something, she picked up a black communicator, pressed it twice, and then spoke into it, “Who was leading the team to purchase resources today?”
“Acas? Have her come see me.”
After giving the instruction, Mandy’s mother intended to disconnect the communicator, but suddenly the sound of items crashing and breaking came through.
Accompanied by the noise were screams, curses, and the sound of powers being used.
Upon hearing this, Mandy’s mother immediately asked in a deep voice, “What’s going on over there?”
The person on the other end was clearly encountering something, as only gasping sounds came through. After a dozen seconds, just as Mandy’s mother was losing patience and about to go check the scene herself, a report finally came through the communicator.
“The, the General. Huff, huff… They’re going crazy, absolutely insane. The Moon Rabbits’ soldiers have revolted.”
“Revolt?!” Mandy’s mother asked incredulously, “Why would there be a revolt?”
The person on the other end didn’t appear to know either, only saying, “I don’t know. I just heard a commotion outside, so I went to check. But as soon as I stepped outside, both sides started fighting. Someone seems to have died.”
“Someone died?” Hearing this, Mandy’s mother quickly said, “Keep control of the situation. I’m heading over now.”
“Yes!”
The higher the rank, the greater the gap between levels. Especially above the Yang Transformation level, where each step is a tier on its own.
Therefore, when Mandy’s mother, at Ascension level, arrived on the scene, she quickly controlled the situation. The Moon Rabbit soldiers, although bold enough to fight each other, didn’t even dare make a move against Mandy’s mother.
After ultimately quelling both sides in over ten minutes, Mandy’s mother, with a frosty expression, asked harshly as she surveyed the injured scattered about, some lying in pools of blood, “What exactly happened?! Can anyone tell me what occurred?”
At this point, the Moon Rabbits had clearly divided into two groups: one with larger numbers, the elite scions, the other with fewer, the lower-tiered genius Moon Rabbit soldiers.
Upon hearing Mandy’s mother’s words, the elite scions promptly spoke up, “General. Those mud-footed ones suddenly confronted us for no reason and even attacked.”
“Indeed, General, we were forced to defend ourselves!”
“Exactly. We’re frankly flabbergasted! No idea what happened. They must have gone mad!”
Hearing the elite scions speak, the beneath-tiered Moon Rabbit soldiers eagerly countered, “General, it wasn’t like that at all!”
“They bullied us long enough. Came to our place to attack, smash things, cursed and derogated.”
“We were rightfully upset, voiced our discontent, didn’t even touch them, and they fell on their own. Then they started attacking us, we were left with no choice but to defend.”
The lower-tiered soldiers spoke more bitterly, eyes reddened.
Since the start, their strength and equipment were already far inferior to the elite scions, timid in the fight, hesitant to strike hard, nearly everyone ended up injured, appearing notably pitiful.
In contrast, apart from some disheveled clothing and hair, the elite scions were barely hurt.
Nonetheless…. Upon hearing the lower-tier soldiers, the elite scions seemed more infuriated. They pointed at their injured on the ground, saying, “You still dare claim it wasn’t you who struck? How is it that those fallen are all our people?”
Mandy’s mother followed the direction pointed by the elite scions’ fingers, noticing that indeed those lying down were mostly elite scions.
Her instincts sensed something amiss.
Then, at that moment, the elite scions added, “I’ll tell you this! Today’s matter is far from over! Mandy has already gone to invite the Divine Official!”
“Once the Divine Official arrives, none of you will escape!”
“The honored master should only be served by us, the noble Moon Rabbits; you mud-footed ones remain at the master’s side solely because of his benevolence, usurping our resources, daring to assault now! The Divine Official will surely expel you all from the Moon Rabbit Palace!”
