Leo met with the employees who would work in the herb fields
In my mind, it was because of Ms. Emeralda that many people stopped being scared of Leo.
Though, I had felt a little awkward when a whole line of people appeared to pet Leo. Especially when some people started to worship her.
Regardless, it was no surprise that there were people who looked up to Claire.
“That lady seemed very nice.”
“Yes. I’m sure she will like you too, Liza.”
Liza was smart, and had recognized Ms. Emeralda at once. I would have to do my best to keep up with her and remember people’s names and faces.
Regardless, we took another break after that, and then I headed towards the place where Leo would surely be waiting impatiently.
We separated with Mr. Soldan, of course. But he managed to keep us for a few minutes while he praised Mr. Ekenhart.
I could tell how passionate he was, and Claire looked amused by it.Outside of the building, the others waited in a large group. And like that, we headed towards Mr. Kalis’s store.
…With such a large group, I wondered if it would not have been better to call Leo instead. But I supposed that there was a good reason for it…
“Wuff-wuff!”
“Haha. There, there. Were you waiting patiently? Hmm?”
“Wuff?”
Once we arrived, Leo noticed me immediately and approached while barking happily.
But even as I petted her, I saw that some of the people had been startled and looked tense…
When I turned to the store, I saw that there was a large crowd of children. It seemed that Tilura and Leo had been playing with them.
Perhaps it was because, unlike the adults, they had little knowledge about Silver Fenrirs. And so they were less likely to be afraid.
Besides, Leo had such a gentle expression.
“Alright, is this a good place?”
“Indeed. There are some houses nearby… And people are watching. But it should not be a problem.”
“I see…”
Including the children, there were now nearly a hundred people gathered here. And since we didn’t want to affect Mr. Kalis’s business, we decided to move to a large open area nearby. However, we attracted so much attention that people were opening their windows to watch us from their houses. ℟𝘼ℕỌBȧ
Alfred and Sebastian did not seem to see this as a problem, though. Did they want people to watch?
“Uh, this is Leo. I am told that she is a Silver Fenrir.”
“Wuff-wuff!”

I stood next to Leo, and with my hands together, I introduced her to everyone.
“Um, Mr. Takumi?”
“What is it, Ms. Emeralda?”
“Could…I pet Leo?”
Ms. Emeralda raised her hand as she stepped forward.
Apparently, she really wanted to pet Leo.
“Of course. I do not mind.”
“Wuff.”
“Th-thank you!”
While the others looked astonished by her boldness, Ms. Emeralda came forward with a big smile.
Ms. Emeralda then reached out towards Leo, who was sitting down. And after touching the paw, her face lit up with delight.
“Hehe. You seem to be enjoying it, Emeralda.”
“Ah! Ye-yes. It is very… I feel like I have gone to heaven…”
“Wuff…?”
Claire watched with a smile. But I had never known that Leo had such an effect on people.
Leo looked confused as well. Perhaps merely saying it had a ‘healing effect’ would have been better.
Otherwise, it sounded a little dangerous…
