Chapter 602 Trial Invitation

An hour after the end of the match, the Hogwarts Trophy Room.

The Hogwarts freshman team won the 1991-1992 Quidditch House Cup.

Just as the school had promised, each of their names and Houses would be engraved on golden shield-shaped badges, stored in a separate display case, alongside the Quidditch FMVP players from each House throughout the years, and displayed in the Trophy Room on the fourth floor of the castle.

According to past practice, the team that won the Quidditch House Cup could keep the cup in their own common room until the start of the next season, when all team members would return it to the school before the first game of the season.

The names of each winning House were magically engraved on the base of the Quidditch House Cup. Once a Quidditch House Cup was filled with sixteen names, it would "retire" to the Trophy Room, replaced by a brand-new trophy.

However, while they couldn't permanently keep the real trophy, each winning team could still keep a replica of the Hogwarts Quidditch House Cup after returning the original.

"A remarkable achievement. I think even after many years, people will often come here to visit."

Albus Dumbledore stood in front of a brand-new crystal glass cabinet, carefully placing the Quidditch trophy he held into it. Then, he turned around and looked at the seven young wizards behind him, their faces full of excitement, and said gently.

"I'll confirm one last time, Harry, you really don't want to be recorded as a Seeker... Well, I understand. Then, Weasley, you'll be appearing here as a Keeper—according to your respective positions in the league, rather than the final lineup of the finals, even though it's not entirely in line with the rules..."

Observing the young wizards' resolute expressions, Dumbledore helplessly shrugged and waved his wand gently.

In the next moment, golden shield-shaped badges bloomed on the red velvet cushion inside the crystal glass cabinet, which had previously only contained one Quidditch House Cup. The young wizards' names and match information appeared on the surface of the gold shield badges in turn.

[Seeker - Elena Kaslana - 1991] (33/0/3)

[Chaser - Draco Malfoy - 1991] (0/0/5)

[Chaser - Harry Potter - 1991] (0/0/1)

[Chaser - Hannah Abbott - 1991] (1/0/7)

[Beater - Gregory Goyle - 1991] (1/0/19)

[Beater - Vincent Crabbe - 1991] (2/0/25)

[Keeper - Ron Weasley - 1991] (0/0/2)

Above everyone's names was a pair of unfolded silver-white wing emblems—[Hogwarts Moonlight Team].

Looking at her own Quidditch badge, Elena was silent for a few seconds, the corner of her mouth twitching uncontrollably.

"What's the content after the name..."

"Oh, this is the data compiled by Madam Hooch this season. In theory, there shouldn't be too many errors. If you think there are any problems with the numerical values, you can apply to Madam Hooch for verification later."

Dumbledore seemed to have anticipated Elena's question, casually took out a piece of parchment from his pocket, and stuffed it into Elena's hand, explaining with a smiling face and a tone of surprise as if he were giving a gift.

"As for the counting method, it is based on the method of counting points in Defense Against the Dark Arts class—this was suggested by Professor Apocalis. He noticed the row of small stars on your broom and thought this form of presentation should make you happier."

"... Okay."

Elena looked at Hannah, who was looking delighted, and Malfoy and the others, who were smug, and sighed helplessly.

The Dark Lord's thought process was indeed different from that of a normal elder. She could almost imagine what the older students in the school would be saying about these medals when young wizards came to visit in the next decade or so.

"Besides that, there's another good news."

Dumbledore paused slightly, and said unhurriedly.

"During the match just now, I discussed it with Ludo Bagman, the Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports. He is willing to act as a guarantor to issue letters of introduction to everyone. During the holidays, you can go to any Quidditch League Cup team to participate in a one-month trial and visit... Of course, boys cannot choose the Holyhead Harpies team."

"Wow! Really?! That's amazing!"

Hearing Dumbledore's words, Ron Weasley, who was stroking his badge, widened his eyes, his excitement beyond words, and quickly said incoherently, "I've always wanted to go to the Chudley Cannons, they're the best team in the whole league!"

"Pfft, that has-been team that didn't even make the top eight?"

Draco Malfoy raised an eyebrow and let out a dismissive chuckle.

"The Montrose Magpies are the best team, thirty-three League Cup titles. To match the Montrose Magpies, the Chudley Cannons will have to wait at least a century or two... Right? Goyle, Crabbe."

"...Draco, actually you know... I prefer the Ballycastle Bats..."

"Come on! You're just a fake Ballycastle Bats fan, Vincent! I've been to your bedroom, the walls are clearly covered with the Holyhead Harpies' Seekers' and Chasers' private... Umm, umm, umm..."

Bang! Bang!

Bang! Bang!

Accompanied by two extremely synchronized stereo muffled sounds, all four little boys who hadn't started fighting yet held their heads in their hands, pitifully shut their mouths, and only dared to glare back and forth at their teammates' faces with their eyes.

Elena rubbed her wrist, turned her head and glanced at Hannah, who was doing the same action, and the two smiled knowingly at each other.

These boys, tsk... so childish...

Taking one last look at her golden badge, Elena gently closed the glass cabinet door and asked casually.

"So, Professor Dumbledore, can I choose not to go?"

"Of course, it's your freedom... It's just that I originally contacted Scamander for you. If you plan to go to the Irish national team for a trial, you can temporarily live in his house during this period until the start of school."

"Hmm? Scamander? That Newt Scamander?"

Elena's little cowlick stood up quickly and swayed from side to side, asking in a calm tone.

"Since you've already contacted him for me, and I don't have too many plans during the summer vacation anyway, it's not a bad choice to go and see the training of the Quidditch national team. Then, I'll go to the Irish national team for a trial!"
