Mysterious Journey

Chapter 406: Party and Change

Her mind was focused on reviewing the first draft of "The Quibbler," occasionally glancing up to glare at her three younger brothers, who hadn't managed to keep their voices down.

Just as Aileen had anticipated, persuading the Weasley twins to join proved to be remarkably easy.

Especially when they learned they would have the power to question and reject Filch's submissions, Aileen clearly saw a glint of excitement in the twins' eyes. As students, it was incredibly difficult to find a platform where they could directly challenge the faculty, and "The Quibbler" was undoubtedly the most transparent and public stage available.

To Aileen's delight, after eavesdropping on her conversation with George and Fred for a while, the other two Weasley boys eagerly volunteered to contribute to "The Quibbler" as well.

Percy Weasley intended to write a series of entries, similar to a prefect's log, for the "Hogwarts Today" section, while Ron Weasley wanted to write a prediction report about this year's Quidditch matches for the sports and entertainment section.

For Aileen, those who submitted articles and had a stake in the magazine's success were always welcome… The only cost was some cold Galleons, which were earned by exploiting the goblins' intellectual property, making them even less valuable than money blown in the wind.

Furthermore, Percy Weasley's involvement brought another piece of good news.

As a Gryffindor prefect, he had the authority to change and adjust the notice board in the common room at any time. Within an hour of Aileen informing Percy of the general content and direction requirements, a new promotional poster for "The Quibbler" had already appeared in the most prominent spot on the Gryffindor notice board.

The promotional poster detailed the magazine's submission requirements, section settings, subscription methods, contact personnel for each section, and introductions to some particularly noteworthy featured content – such as "A Guide to Solving Ravenclaw Eagle Door Riddles," "Hogwarts School-Wide Recipe Reviews," "How to Move Around the Castle Like a Ghost"...

It couldn't be denied that the Gryffindor lions were definitely the most enthusiastic crowd in the school.

With the entire Weasley family joining, a grand brainstorming session quickly developed around Aileen and her friends. Especially when the house-elf, Burleigh, exceptionally spirited, brought tea and snacks from the kitchen, the entire Gryffindor common room instantly transformed into a grand party.

Of course, if it were solely a discussion about "The Quibbler," it might not have been enough for everyone to find an excuse to participate, but the most ingenious thing was that today also happened to be a first-year girl's birthday, which was undoubtedly a perfect starting point to weave into the conversation.

A simple "Happy Birthday" was enough to receive a delicious and beautiful Hogwarts castle cake; joining the party with a cake in hand allowed one to participate in a discussion about a supposedly Hogwarts-funded and interesting publication; and offering some constructive suggestions earned a round of enthusiastic applause…

What excited the Gryffindor wizards even more was that Hermione Granger's birthday cake was a realistic "Hogwarts Castle," which accurately struck a chord with all the lions – every student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was unable to resist such a delicate and beautiful castle cake, and the area where the Slytherin common room was located became a hotspot.

Many wizards wanted to experience what it felt like to bite off the Slytherin common room.

To satisfy the wizards' needs as much as possible, Aileen naturally responded to the calls, waving her wand on the cake blanks sent by the elves, transforming and cooking them into one delicate and beautiful "Hogwarts Castle" cake after another. However, the prerequisite for receiving a cake was still to wish the birthday girl a happy birthday.

"Hermione, happy birthday."

"Granger, happy birthday."

"Hermione, second big sister, happy birthday."

Under this virtuous cycle, Hermione, as the source of all actions, became the happiest wizard in the entire Gryffindor house overnight. Almost everyone wished her a happy birthday, and she received more birthday wishes than she had in the past eleven years combined.

By the time she was about to go to sleep, Hermione was still in a state of floating on cloud nine. Even when Aileen, without washing her feet, climbed directly into her bed, she didn't protest at all.

So, all of this was part of your plan? Aileen Kaslana.

"Aileen…" Feeling the warm body approaching, Hermione turned her head and opened her mouth, but a thousand words were eventually condensed into one sentence, "Thank you for the birthday gift, I'm very happy."

"What are you talking about? This is what I should do."

Aileen blinked, feigning ignorance, and playfully pinched Hermione's little nose.

"You have to know, you're my most important friend. Let's go to sleep early, we're going to be busy next, just reviewing submissions is a huge amount of work..."

Snore ~ Snore ~ Snore ~

On another bed not far from them, there was already a slight snoring sound.

Spending the whole night taking photos and collecting records of the wizards' dining experiences had exhausted Hannah and Luna. They didn't even have the strength to walk back to the dormitory. The two little girls fell asleep directly on Aileen's bed without even changing their clothes.

"These two, so worrying, did they have to work so hard?"

Before Hermione could reply, Aileen suddenly shook her head helplessly, stood up and walked towards the bed next door, carefully helping the two little Lolitas, who were already fast asleep, take off their shoes and socks and coats, and then pulled up the quilt to cover them well.

"Aileen, you… I'll come help too."

Hermione was slightly stunned, looked at Aileen who was busy in front of Luna and Hannah's beds, shook her head with a smile, got out of bed and walked over barefoot, helping to tidy up the books and cameras scattered around the bed.

Speaking of which, she was clearly the oldest of the four children, but she was always taken care of by Aileen. After this birthday, she would also learn from Aileen and start being a reliable big sister, right?
